WARNING: this is... poorly edited and just crappy writing okay. And also fluff. There's fluff.

My phone vibrated on the coffee table. I picked it up, the message lighting up the screen.

*Ember: You still coming over for a sleepover tomorrow? Or are you sick?*

I smiled and was just about to tab out the next message when the wonderful scent of tomatoes, garlic, and spices hit my nose. "What are you making?!"  yelled at the door, knowing perfectly well that Allen could easily hear me.

"Spaghetti with meatballs! And ice cream for dessert!" I smiled. I love ice cream.

My attention returned to my phone.

*Yeah... I'm pretty sure I'll be sleeping over tomorrow, but... I'll just need to double-check*

And as if summoned, Allen appeared in the doorway to the living room, heading for the spot next to me, and handing me a plate. "Here you go, Love,"

"Thanks," I wrapped some spaghetti around my fork and brought it up to my mouth, the taste dumbing my brain for several seconds. When I finally opened my eyes Allen was looking at me with a warm curiosity in his eyes. I pointed at my food with the fork. "This is bloody great,"

"Glad you like it. Wanna watch a movie while we eat?" he picked up the remote, already ready to turn on the tv.

I nodded silently, my mouth full of delicious spaghetti. "What's your favorite Disney movie?"

I slurped down the pasta in my mouth. "Tangled," I choked out. "I've only seen it once, but I just remember loving it,"

Allen nodded once with a smile and clicked into Disney+. "Tangled it is then... It's uh... one of my favorites too..." his voice faded to a whisper. "It's because of my sisters you know. They watched it all the time so it's just a childhood memory thing..." I laughed. He's adorable.

I nudged his arm carefully, being sure that he wouldn't spill any food onto his couch. "Don't worry, Alpha Allen, your secret love for princess movies will be safe with me." I sent him the most innocent smile I could manage.

He pursed his lips with evil in his eyes, before rolling them and shaking his head, and wrapping his arm around my shoulder. My fork paused for a second in the air, before I started eating again- the warmth from his arm was nice, anyway.

"I was just wondering... is it still alright that I, uh... sleepover at Embers place?"

"Sure- Love, you're not a prisoner, you can sleepover at a friends house whenever you want, as long as the person is a woman or a gay guy,"

I raised my eyebrows. "Ember's gay,"

He tugged me a bit closer to his side. "It's different, she's got a mate. And I also highly doubt that her mate will let the two of you out of her sight the entire evening- seriously, don't... look at Ember's ass or anything like that, her mate will most certainly flip the fuck out," he smiled, looking both amused and slightly worried at the same time.

I raised my eyebrow. "And you know this... how?" I laid my head to the side.

The smile stretched into a stupid ass grin. "Because if I caught anyone checking out your ass, I'd rip off their arm, and then use the ripped off arm to beat them, and at last, make their own hand strangle them,"

I gave him a deadpan stare, using my free hand to point my index finger at him. "You, my good sir, are a bloody psychopath,"

He shrugged, pulling me even closer. "Nah, I'm just a wolf with a mate- this is... pretty common. Once, my dad broke the jaw of a guy who was looking a little too interested in my mom," the stupid ass grin got a little wider.

A small shiver passed through me, and I wrinkled my nose in distaste. "Every time you tell me something about your father... he just gets... more and more...scary," Unthinkingly, I pressed myself further against his side.

"That's how it is," he shrugged. "I like this," he added, gently running his hand up and down my arm, giving my bicep a quick, soft squeeze.

Tilting my head to the side, I raised my eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

He tipped his head from side to side, his lips pursed, and then gently tapped my arm. "This... holding you close, eating a quiet dinner, watching a Disney movie, it feels so... every day, so... couple-y, I like it," he shrugged once again.

My body moved, almost automatically at his words, slowly pulling away from him, out of habit. I stiffened the next second. Why hadn't I pulled away much earlier? And why did I feel... kinda bad... or not bad, it wasn't bad conscience, more... sad, as I pulled away?

A look concerningly similar to panic crossed over his face. "No... please, or, I mean, if you really don't want to want to... but I'd love it if you just... stayed in my arms, I love how it feels, you're so warm and small and... warm," a faint hint of pink touched his cheeks.

A beet-colored blush spread from my neck, moving along to my cheeks, finally reaching my ears. "Thank you," I muttered.

And then, per usual, my brain decided to turn itself off. "You're... also pretty warm. It's... nice," I admitted before I had any chance to stop the words from leaving my mouth. Why am I like this? What is wrong with me? Why can't I just shut the fuck up?!

His face fell flat for a second, as he thought over my words before a smirk appeared on his lips and he raised an eyebrow at me. "So... you're saying I'm... hot?'' The dumbass smirk grew wider.

I shook my head at him, pressing two fingers against my temple. "I give you a finger, the very itty bitty tip of my finger... and you take my entire arm, shoulder included,"

Allen shrugged, placing a fast, stolen kiss to my hair. "A man's gotta shoot his shot... talking about that- Love, do you wanna go on a date with me?"

I choked on my pasta. In a panic, I did my best to throw the plate onto the table before I'd drop it on the expensive couch. I doubled over, trying to regain the ability to breathe. I felt a few careful patts on the top of my back, and out of the corner of my eye, I could see Allen's concerned eyes looking up and down my face.

He gave my back a few more patts. "Careful, Love- breathe," he whispered, running his hand in circles on the top of my back.

Finally, I regained control of my breathing. "A... a date?" I choked out, looking at him with wide eyes.

Allen smiled, with a 'obviously' look in his eyes. "Well... yes. I'd love to take you out to eat, a nice place, we'll throw on some fancy clothes, we'll eat some good food... spend some time together, in public,"

"Why?!" I nearly yelled, the shock of his question and my lack of air not quite having settled yet.

He shrugged. "Well, because... I love you, and admittedly... I am dying to show you off to everyone... meeting your mate is kind of a big deal, especially for an alpha, and I wanna show the pack... the entire world actually, that you're mine- that I was... lucky enough to deserve you," he sent me a gentle smile, his eyes swarming like pools of hot chocolate, so soft and gentle I had a hard time believing that it was possible for Allen to ever become angry

"You..." I pointed an accusatory index finger at him. "Are a manipulative bastard, and unfortunately, it's working. You can quit the puppy dog eyes," I rolled my eyes.

The gentleness of his eyes disappeared at once, replaced with hope, and excitement- sparkling, almost. "So... that's a yes? To the date?" his smile grew wider.

Picking up my plate from the table, I nodded. "Yes, it's a yes- I'll go on a date with you if it's so important," I rolled my eyes again.

Strong arms wrapped around my waist, and then a series of quick kisses were placed all over my hair, making a squeal leave me. He growled playfully behind me, and tugged me closer- just tight enough for his grip to not be uncomfortable. I wiggled out of his arms, laughing over my shoulder. "Down, Fido, down," I said, giving his chest a light tap with the back of my hand.

Allen raised his eyebrows, judgment clear in his eyes. "A dog joke? Really?" he pursed his lips in disappointment. I answered with a laugh.

His expression changed, from playful disappointment to... slight worry. He sighed, gently wrapping his arms around me again, softly pulling me closer. "There's also... something else. We've been... together... mates... whatever for almost two months, I think it's about time you meet my beta, Joseph, I mean, since he's... well, one of my closest friends, my best friend, actually. I really want you to meet him, and... his wife, and mate,"

I swallowed dryly. "...when?" I whispered.

he placed a soft kiss on the side of my head and sighed. "... they wanted to come over tomorrow, just for some late lunch, after they've picked up their son from preschool- breathe, Love," he added- I sucked in a deep breath.

I nodded, placing my face in my hands. "Right, right, I just... woosh," I placed the plate back on the coffee table once again.  "I lost my appetite," I mumbled.

Allen gently squeezed my shoulder, softly running his hand along my back. "Awe, Love, now you're all tense, c'mere, let me give you some massage," he clapped his hands together and gestured for me to come closer. I furrowed my brows at him.

He rolled his eyes with a teasing smile, "A completely non-sexual, simply muscle-relaxing massage, limited to your back," he corrected, gesturing with his hands once again.

I scooted closer to him. "Mind taking your shirt off?" I stiffened completely at his words, my heart skipping a beat, and skin running cold as ice. I stared at him over my shoulder with horror in my eyes.

"You're wearing a top underneath, and there's no reason to be self-conscious- you're gorgeous, you'll always be in my eyes," his eyes softened.

"It's not about that, I just don't want to take my shirt off in front of you," I shook my head and shrugged.

Something within Allen's eyes switched for just a moment, and then he focused his eyes back on me and nodded with a smile. "Alright, fair enough,"

I turned around, focusing my eyes back on the TV screen. They were in the cave, nearly drowning by now. Strong fingers buried into my back, hitting all of my soft spots. Yeeeeeeeesssss, that's the spot! I relaxed into Allen's hands, a sigh of contentment leaving me. And a few seconds later, he pressed his thumbs into the spots just outside of my spine on the small of my back, and a groan left me. And then another one.

Allen groaned behind me. "Could you... stop? Puh-lease?"

I looked over my shoulder with wide eyes. "What? What'd I do?"

He stared at me with wide eyes, pleading for me to get the point. "You... that sound, it's very distracting,"

"How... what do you mean?"

He sighed, placing his head in his hands, a short, nervous laugh leaving him. "Love, you were... moaning, you know, and moaning..."

A blush spread on my neck, cheeks, and ears, heating up my face several degrees. "Oh... right..." I muttered.

The next second, thankfully, my brain seemed to reconnect. I got up from the couch, almost falling as I did, and headed for the doorway. "Oh, well, it's... getting kinda late, I better go shower... so I have some time before I gotta go to bed you know... gotta get up early for school and all that," I was already halfway out the door when I added the last part.

The next second Allen was next to me, nearly giving me a heart attack. What the fuck is with wolves and that Speedy Gonzales thing?

He walked alongside me up the stairs. "Oh well... it's your decision, but I'd rather you not go to school tomorrow... I think you need just a bit longer at home for now... with everything going on, in your family,"

A dry laugh left me. "I can't really skip school and go to a sleepover later the same day, it looks a little... you know,"

He tipped his head from side to side, pressing his lips together. "Technically... when your mate is an Alpha... you can," his lips twisted up to a smirk, and then a chuckled. "I'm pretty sure you could skip three times a week from now on and I'd still be able to make sure you graduate with an A+ in all subjects- the perks of being an Alpha, I can pull whatever strings I want," he laughed again.

I raised an eyebrow at him. He gave me a goofy smile. Dummy... my dummy.

"Well..." he wrapped his arms softly around my waist when we reached the top of the stairs. "Do you really need to shower, or was it just an excuse to get away from my horny ass?" the goofy smile morphed into a smirk.

Pursing my lips to keep myself from smiling, I tipped my head from side to side. Then I couldn't hold the smile anymore. "Well... I guess.. since I don't have school in the morning... my shower could wait... at least until after the movie is finished...if it hasn't already..." I furrowed my brows. How long since he even started it?

"Don't worry- it's been paused since you almost choked on your own spit- I wanted it ready for when we got back from the hospital, just in case," he winked at me with a smirk.

"I hate you. So much." I rolled my eyes and turned around on my heel, walking back down the stairs- only making it down a few steps before I was swooped into a pair of arms. "ALLEN!"

He looked at me with innocent eyes, his head tipped to the side in imitated confusion. "What? You looked like you were about to trip," he shrugged and looked back up, a smile playing on his lips.

My heart nearly stopped when Allen sat us back down- my back against his chest, my butt placed between his legs. I looked over my shoulder. "Excuse me?"

"Well... you like that I'm warm, I like that you're warm. We're mates, and there's nothing sexual about this, so I don't see a problem," he shrugged, wrapping his arms around my stomach and pulling me just a tad closer. I pursed my lips for a minute, my brows furrowed, before giving up with a shrug... he was right, anyways. There was nothing sexual about it... and he was really nice and warm. I relaxed into him, nestling closer, and I felt the strangest vibration against my back.

I tilted my head back, looking up at Allen. "Did you just purr?"

A hint of pink touched his cheeks. "That is..." he cleared his throat. "That is... a definite possibility," he cleared his throat again.

With my head still against his chest, looking up at him, I couldn't help but giggle. When I opened my eyes again, Allen's eyes were soft, almost like two swirling pools of hot chocolate, looking at me with... I don't know what was in his eyes, I didn't even recognize the emotion, but it made my stomach feel warm. He placed a kiss on my forehead. "I love that sound- it's so beautiful," he nustled the side of his face against mine, another purr escaping him.

"And I who thought you were a wolf... you're just a were-housecat,"

A hint of yellow flashed over his eyes, and then a wicked smile spread on his lips. "Oh am I a housecat now? Huh? Tell me... would a housecat do... this?" the tips of his fingers dig into my sides, a mix of a scream, squeal, howl, and laughter escaping me. Next thing I knew I was on the floor.

I don't know when he had time to push the table aside, but apparently, he had. Although my brain couldn't register much- the lack of oxygen getting into my brain was quite distracting. As was the spasms coursing through my body every time he squeezed his fingers into my side.

"STOP!! PLEASE!! I'M-" I tried to suck in some air, without much luck- I laughed it right back out again. "I'M SORRY! YOU'RE-" more laughter. "YOU'RE NOT A HOUSECAT! YOU ARE A TERRIFYING-" I howled out my laughter. "BIG SCARY ALPHA WEREWOLF!! I'M SORRY!"

"PLEASE! I can't breathe!" I nearly screamed, my body almost having reached a panicked state, desperate to breathe.

A second later, Allen's face was hovering above me, his hands wrapped around my wrists on each side of my face loosely- if I had tried, I could've probably just gotten away. With a  smirk plastered on his face, he rose an eyebrow. "Thank you. And what do 'terrifying big scary Alpha werewolves' get?"

I smiled as sweetly as possible. "Their sorry ass kicked?"

He pursed his lips, tipping his head from side to side, his brows furrowed. "No... it's not that... it's something else..." he raised an eyebrow the dumbass smile on his face.

"Their balls twisted until they fall off?" I smile. Allen grimaced with horror in his eyes and then shook his head.

"Nope... not that one either... go again; third time's the charm," he sent me a toothy smile.

I sighed, dumping my head back on the rug. "Permission to kiss me?"

He nodded slowly, his lips once again pursed- 'deep in thought'. "Yes, that definitely sounds like an appropriate prize for a 'terrifying big scary Alpha werewolf',"

Shaking my head, I rolled my eyes and made a move to get up- Allen immediately let go of my wrists and got off me.

He took a seat at the couch, tapping his hand twice on his lap with a 'well, go on' look in his eyes. I narrowed my eyes, but quickly accepted my defeat... my cheeks burned as I took a seat at the very tip of his knees.

Not a fraction of a second passed before I had been flipped around, my knees on each their side of Allen's legs, my chest pressed against his. My heart began thundering away. "I guess that I'm not allowed to kiss you on the lips?" he smirked. With an eye roll and a deep breath, I shook my head no. There's no way he's kissing me on the lips- ever.

He shrugged. "Fair enough,"

Then, he softly pressed his lisp against my throat, my breath hitching as he did. His face then moved slowly, scraping against my neck as he moved to the side of it- I tipped my head to the side instinctively. A groan left Allen as he placed a kiss to the left side of my neck. He then moved slowly to the other side, his stubble prickling as he did. He placed a deep, lingering kiss at the spot where my jaw met my neck, and then moved down, just above the crook of my neck- and placed a soft, light kiss there, a shiver running through my body as his lips met my skin.

He pulled away, gently resting his forehead against mine. "I don't suppose... that there's a chance that you... might let me mark you? Now?" he opened his eyes, which were so yellow that I had a feeling they would glow if I were to turn off the light.

I shook my head slowly, my heart skipping a beat as my brain processed his question. The softest of smiles made its way onto his lips. "Fair- I just had to ask," he shrugged, and then slowly turned me around, my back completely pressed against his chest once again. I nestled into his warmth and listened to him humming along to all of the songs in the movie.

A/N

Had a movie night yesterday with some friends- I watched Wall-E for the first time, and it is the most adorable film I've ever seen!!! My heart was melting throughout the entire process.

Question: What are three songs that make you feel... something. Not necessarily your favorite songs, but just... make you angry, or sad, or happy. Not as in, the music makes you angry, or sad, but that whatever the song about makes you feel what you feel. (May be a weird question but eh)

Mine are:

Angry Too- Lola Blanc (Angry)

Blood//Water- Grandson (Angry, and depressed)

Wake Up- Black Viel Brides (Angry, 'rebellious')

You know what's funny? I actually like a lot of rock and rock-ish music, and people are
