"Mr. Ben can you just take me straight to my friends house instead of home? Im helping my friends study for our math test." I asked as we drove away from the School. I had just received a text message on my phone from Taylor and Grace followed by an address. "Yes no problem." Mr. Ben looked at me from the mirror. "Just call Kingsley and Kale and let them know the change of plans." I rolled my eyes as I dialed the home number. I'd rather talk to Ms. Ava then Kale or Kingsley right now.

"Hello." A deep voice echoed into the phone. "Dammit" I cursed quietly. I was hoping Ava would answer. I bit my bottom lip as the sound of his voice traveled through the phone. "How was your first day?" Kale asks.I knew his voice by now to know when it's him. "Great actually."

"Good." Kale sounded expectant, like he knew I was gonna say that. "We would've paid the school a visit if it wasn't."

I rolled my eyes at his attempt to- well I don't know what he was trying to do by saying that to me but I just changed the subject.

"Anyway, Mr. Ben wanted me to check in with you before he takes me to my friends house. I'm helping her study." I heard a long pause on his end at first. "Okay." Kale finally said. "Okay." I said back. He still didn't say anything else so I decided to just hang up.

"What did he say?" Mr Ben looks at me through his rear view mirror again as I locked my phone.
"He said it's alright, I can go."

It took about 15 minutes to get to Grace's house. She lived in a quiet neighborhood with nice houses and kids playing on clean nice lawns. Total opposite of my old neighborhood and Kale and Kingsley's house that had no neighbors for miles. "Right here." I told Mr. Ben As my GPS told me which house belonged to Grace. We parked and I got out. "What time should I come back?" He asked. "Is 9:00 too late?"
I checked the time  on the phone. It was 4:00. "It's fine, have fun." Mr Ben tilted his hat to me and waited for Grace and Taylor to open the door for me before pulling off. I laughed at how old school he was. "Heeeeeeey." Grace shouted sliding across the floor toward the front door with her socks.
"Hey guys." I laughed while removing my shoes and hugging them both.

"We've got lots to talk about, upstairs." Taylor announced and we followed after her.

"Is this the new girl?" A woman's voice came from downstairs while we were running upstairs. I stopped and turned to see who I assumed to be Grace's mom standing at the bottom of the steps.
Hi, honey nice to meet you I'm Adele"
"Hii." I smiled and waved. "Nice to meet you." She was a short pretty lady with the same eye and hair color as Grace. "There's leftovers in the fridge, I'm late to my book club meeting so you girls have fun."
"Bye mom." Grace shouted.

"Bye girls." She yelled out and left. Grace's room was huge. Taylor and I were on Grace's bed while Grace sat on her computer chair. The design of her room was black and white. So she had black carpet with white blankets, black clothing dressers and a white lamp next to her bed. "So Ashton definitely likes you." Taylor blurted out and Grace immediately nodded agreeing and spinning in her chair. "He does not." I smiled while twirling the necklace that he gave me. "Oh yeah? Then what's that!" Taylor pointed at the necklace and they both smirked at me.

"It's...a necklace" I said slowly. "A friendship necklace." I corrected myself. "He said he gave all of you gifts before?" I look between both Taylor and Grace. Grace burst out laughing while dramatically falling out of her chair. Taylor shakes her head while smiling at me. "You really believed that?" I was a little offended by her tone but I wouldn't admit it. I just shrugged. "I mean why wouldn't he? If he's the caring sweet type of guy that he portrays to be, why would that be so hard to believe?"

Grace crawled over toward the bed and gave my knee a light tap. "He's never bought us any shit like that, come on girl THINK, he likes you."

I nodded. How dumb was I to think this was a friendship necklace. "What about his girlfriend?" I asked the girls. Taylor's face instantly lights up.
"He's breaking up with her." She announced.

"What? Why?" I looked between them. Grace was now standing on her feet staring at me.
"Because he likes you." She repeated and I huffed. "We've know him since forever and let me be the first to tell you that we know when he likes someone trust me." Grace tried to convince me but I just shook my head some more.

Taylor's smile then faded and her expression turned serious. "No but seriously he's been planning to break up with her for a while but then he starts to feel bad and decides against it. None of us really like her we just tolerate her because Ashton's our best friend." Taylor told me and Grace nodded agreeing.

"Wow." Was all I could say. That was something. Being stuck in a relationship because you feel too bad to leave. We all sat quietly for a second thinking about it. "Alright let's study." I told them while clasping my hands together. They reluctantly listened and we studied for a good 7 minutes. When the pizza came that we decided to order we planned to take a 'break' and finish later but I knew we were finished for the night. We sat across the bed eating straight from the box.

"So Grace has a crazy crush on Collin." Taylor laughed while biting into her pizza.

"TAYLOR!" Grace's eyes widened. She looked so flushed and embarrassed. "That's not something I'm ready to admit yet." She looked almost ashamed for liking him. "Why haven't you said anything to him?" I asked. Collin was a great guy. Too much of a flirt but I see through it. "You know why." Grace said while standing up and stretching. "He flirts too much, he's a play boy. I hate guys like that. But I like him. I'm batshit." She laughed while letting her head fall into her hands. I took a minute to think about her revelation. "Does he flirt with you?"
I asked and She took a minute to think.

"Yeah, but differently." She talked while pacing back and forth. "He seems to think about what he's going to say before he talks to me." She informed me. "When he flirts with other girls he says the first thing that comes to his mind, but with me he tries to be clever, like he's shy or something."

As I thought about what she said I wondered if that could've meant that he likes her.
"Grace what guy his age acts shy around a girl and not like them? I mean what guy actually thinks about what he's going to say before blurting it out?"I asked them both who were silent. "Sounds like he likes you, Better tell him or I will. Case closed." I gave her a sneaky grin. Taylor cracked up laughing at the both of us.

"You wouldn't!" Grace froze and her face reddened.
"Your right. I won't because you will." Taylor smirked at what I said. Her and I both secretly agreed that we really were not going to tell Collin Grace's secret but we made her think we would so she could actually tell him herself.

"Oh turn that up!" Grace jumped up, dancing to
Zella- hypnotic. We had the radio on low as we ate but as soon as that song came on we all wanted to dance. Grace and I began dancing and yelling the lyrics instead of singing.

"Someone's calling for you!" Taylor yelled over the the music handing me my ringing phone that was on the bed. I groaned when Kingsley's name flashed on the screen. "Yeah?" I raised my voice over the music not wanting to leave the room. I was hoping he would hear us having fun so he could leave me be.
"I see people in this century do not say hello anymore." I was now standing in the hallway while Grace and Taylor stayed in the room to dance. I scrunched my face up momentarily looking at my cell phone. Did he actually just say Century?

"Yes Kingsley what do you need?" I was tapping my foot on the floor annoyed that he was interrupting my fun time. "It's time to come home." He quickly responded. My jaw drops. "Are you serious?"
I looked at the time on my phone. It was 9:00pm on the dot. I had no idea time went by as fast as it did.

"Ben is outside, I'll see you when you get here." Kingsley quickly ended the call and I groaned. Just one year, and I can be out on my own. I didn't know how I was gonna do it being as though I'll be fresh out of high school when I'm 18 but I wanted to move out of their house the minute I turned the legal age. When I walked back into Grace's room they were flipping through magazines and the radio was turned back down.

"Who was that on the phone? Your secret lover?" Taylor laughed while they both stared at me with googly eyes. "No." I laughed while crossing my arms. "It was my older brother, I have to go home."

"Awwww come on I feel like you just got here!" Taylor wined. "Yeah the fun didn't even start yet." Grace said. I shrugged disappointedly. "I know. But maybe I could come back tomorrow? We could have more time to hang." I suggested while reluctantly putting on my shoes.

"Or we could come to your house, and meet your brother too." Taylor said. "Whatever works for you."

But that wasn't happening. "Maybe." I answered already knowing I wasn't letting them come over. I still didn't even tell them I didn't have any parents. Also, I wasnt sure how the Twins would act if I had friends over, plus my bedroom door was nonexistent so we wouldn't even have privacy hanging out there.
The girls walked me downstairs to the front door and gave me big hugs. "Bye!" they called out. "Text us!" Taylor yelled out. I nodded at her, then proceeded to greet Mr. Ben and we headed home.

"Did you have fun?" Mr. Ben asked as we were nearing the front of the mansion. He had just finished up his phone call. He was arranging another vacation for he and Ms. Ava. They seemed like a fun older couple, just living their lives traveling the world. "It was very fun." I yawned anticipating the moment I get to lay in my bed and sleep.

"I'm not suppose to say anything."
He whispered looking at me from his mirror.
"But apparently they have arranged a dinner for you tonight." He adverted his eyes toward the house and I rolled my eyes as he parked in front of the front door. "Oh...okay." Was my response as we exited the car. I wondered what was this dinner for and why they were doing this but I was out of guesses, I just had to wait and see. All I knew was that I had the perfect day and I hoped to god they weren't about to ruin the remainder of my night.

Mr. Ben and I said our good nights as he headed toward the back of the house to Kingsley and Kales guest house that he and Ms. Ava lived in. I finally knew why Kingsley was back there that day Eleanor was leaving to go home. He was probably in there cleaning it for them since they were coming back, and that's why he was shirtless coming from it.

I walked into the house quietly, hoping I could make a sprint for the stairs without running into the Twins. I was gonna skip out on this dinner any way that I could. I already had pizza anyways, so I was stuffed. As I closed the front door I turned around and my body was instantly slammed against the door. Hard. I yelped as Kingsley held me up by my shoulders. He was sniffing me, sniffing my body like a dog or something.

"What the hell are you doing?" I breathed out but I was too scared to push him off of me. Kingsley's black eyes scanned over mine before he let me drop to my feet. His hands slowly went to my neck and then on my 'A' necklace. I watched as he stared at it, before snatching it off of my neck. My jaw dropped. His eyes snapped to mine again as he got in my face. His nose inches away from mine.

"Who the fuck gave you this necklace and Ariel do not fucking lie to me?" His menacing voice echoed throughout the silence of the house. "This boy from my school, his name is Ashton. He gave it to me as a gift because my name starts with an 'A'."I blurted out in one sentence. Kingsley continued to stare at me with crazy eyes. If it weren't for these circumstances I would've told him to fuck off and get the hell off of me, oh and mind your business. But He said 'not to fucking lie to him'and since he had me pinned up against the front door a second ago, I wasn't taking my chances of being sarcastic right now.

"Ashton?" Kingsley repeated his name while staring at me. I nodded at him. He looked at the necklace in his hands once again then he turned around. Kale was standing across the room with his arms folded, staring at us. He had the look of murder in his eyes.

"Ashton." Kingsley repeated and Kale nodded. Kale and I made eye contact before he turned and walked the opposite way, back to wherever he came from. Kingsley followed after him but before he turned the corner toward the hallway he stopped. The tension between us made it impossible for me to breathe normally. I had no idea if he was going to run back over here and do something worst next.

"We made dinner, when you are done freshening up please come back down. We need to talk."
With those last words Kingsley left the room, and I was able to breathe again. I ran up the steps and straight to my room noticing I had a new door, they must of replaced it considering they tore down my original one.

As I closed my bedroom door I let my back lay against it while taking deep breaths. I couldn't believe Kingsley just did that to me. I mean what the hell was that? Why did he take the necklace away from me? And the more pressing question why was he sniffing my body like that? Not to mention his eyes were black as the night. I was too scared to even ask about that, the murderous look in his eyes warned me not to.

Suddenly, a vibration silenced all of my thoughts. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and almost screamed when I saw the number on the screen. "Eleanor!" I squealed into the phone. "Ariel!" She yelled. "Why didn't you call me as soon as you got home?" I yelled into the phone, feeling myself getting close to tears. I missed my sister so very much.

"I'm so sorry, everything at home has been kind of
Hectic and busy but as soon as I was able to use a phone, your the first person I called." I could hear the sympathy in her voice.

"I miss you so much." I told her as I wiped my tears.
"I miss you too little sis. More then you know." She assured me. I stayed on the phone with Eleanor for as long as I could. I told her about school and my new friends but not my attempted suicide. I knew she would catch the first flight here to kill Kale and Kingsley but I was okay now so I didn't want her to worry. We hung up when I had to take my shower but I called right back when I got out. I was putting on my pajamas talking to Eleanor about anything I could think of before ending the call to go have this talk with the Twins. "I have to go, your brother's all of the sudden want us to eat dinner together."
I told her with disinterest In my voice. She laughed at me. "They just want excuses to hang out with you."

"Ha." I sarcastically laughed at her logic.

"Anyway I love you, can I call you back tomorrow and you could tell me more about your romantic asshole boyfriend?" I pleaded mocking what she had said about him and she laughed again. "Of course! And I love you too." I held the phone closer to my face listening to her voice. "Bye." I whispered not wanting to hang up.

I walked downstairs in grey pajama pants and my matching pajama sweater and socks. The house smelled so good. Walking into the dinning room I saw Mr. Ben and Ava preparing the table with plates and silverware. "Hey honey." Miss Ava greeted and hugged me. I smiled happily. "Hey, good. You two are eating with us." I inhaled her nice perfume while hugging her sideways. I watched her shake her head a little bit while Mr. Ben half smiled.

"Ava and I will be eating in our house. The table is for you and them." He patted my shoulder.
"No," I told him. "I'm pretty sure no one would mind if you ate with us. I would love the two of yours company." I pleaded. Kale and Kingsley walked in just as I said that. Mr. Ben and Ms. Ava just smiled at me and walked out of the room without saying anything else. It's like when the twins walked in, they didn't want to speak about it any further. I huffed and sat at my original seat from the last dinner I had with them. They both sat directly across from me and I instantly felt a hint of déjà vu of the first night I had dinner here at the house, The day of the funeral. The only difference this time was the mood. Ava brought in the food which was a big bowl of gravy, chicken and fresh asparagus with dinner rolls. She made our plates and after we thanked her she left the room.

The brother's were extremely silent. I would at least expect them to talk to each other but they didn't. I definitely wasn't going to start any conversation. I had nothing to say to them. They're the ones who called this stupid dinner. We ate our food in silence and just as I was getting use to it someone decided to get something off of their chest.

"I'm not one for beating around the bush so let's just get right to it." Kingsley abruptly said, interrupting the stale silence. I looked at him, only to show him my annoyance. It was hard to stare at either of them though without gazing because they were simply a pair of beautiful men. Kingsley wipes his mouth with his napkin as he stares me down.

"I need to apologize to you for being so aggressive and so insensitive to your feelings that it led to..." He pauses and then continues. "Led to you hurting yourself. Now if you ever do anything like that to yourself again I don't care if I have to tie your hands together for the rest of your life to keep you from hurting yourself but I will if that's what it takes." He finished with determination in his eyes. He looked like he wanted to reach across the table and do god knows what to me. He kept clenching, and unclenching his left hand that was sitting next to his plate.

"I won't." I said in a small voice. My eyes narrowed down at my plate. I didn't need anymore convincing to know that my suicide attempt pissed them off. Kingsley's apology almost made tears come to my eyes because I wasn't expected it. I know they didn't like what I did but I didn't realize how much until now.

"Now about the kiss." Kingsley continued and I swallowed. Why did he have to bring it up.
I continued to stare down at my plate feeling embarrassed because I liked kissing them both and I was ashamed of it. I knew I liked it the moment it happened and I hated to admit it.

"I don't regret it." Kale announced jumping in. My eyes widened while looking at him and he was as serious as usual. I could see this glint in his eyes as he talked. "I've never felt lips as soft as yours." His voice went low as he described it. My eyes were still wide in shock because Ive never heard him talk like that before.

"They tasted like a sweet fruit, maybe strawberry." Kingsley added. I received heated gazes from them both and I swallowed. The temperature In the room felt like it went up. I wanted to bring up the necklace situation but I was frozen in my seat. Kingsley then leaned forward in his chair, His eyes filled with lust. "I need it again." He lowered his voice, while watching my reaction.

"I can't be hearing this right now." I quickly stood up and walked towards the door that led to the hallway in disbelief. I pushed the door open only for one of them to stop me just like that. Kale was standing in front of me that quick, and I had only made it 2 steps out of the dinning room.

"Listen to me." His booming voice scared me a little. He kept me still by
