Ariel's POV

My eyes sprang open in a panic. I jumped up, standing from the bed and hugged my body when I realized I was naked. So last night I was real. I saw my pajamas on the floor. The bed sheets was scattered all over the place and the wooden bottoms on the bed were broke. I saw my reflection in the mirror that sat on the dresser and tears filled my eyes. My hair was a hot mess and my private was aching. I started to breathe heavily. I cheated? The blood moon came earlier then expected and if this happened between Theo and I, then I wonder how the rest of the pack handled this. Where was Theo? I looked around the room like he was just going pop out of the air and reveal himself. But he was gone. I skipped the pajamas back on and smoothed my hair down with my fingers. I needed to shower, but I also needed to check with George to make sure everyone in the pack was ok. Even though the blood moon was only about lust, I had no idea if anything bed could've become of it. As soon I opened the door, George was standing outside of it. "George." My heart pounded when I saw the alarm in his head as he inhaled. "Dear God." He suddenly looked panic.
"Alpha Kingsley and kill are going to kill us all." He motion his hands across his chest making and momentarily closed his eyes. "Commander George listen, it was an accident. Kingsley and Kale won't hurt you! Or anyone else! They can't! They must know how this stupid moon thing works. You can't control yourself!" I panicked. I didn't want him, Theo or anyone else to lose there lives over this.

George shook his head sadly but stayed calm. He acted as if what I did was more scary then him loosing his own life. "Are you telling me that Theo, who is not your mate had that extra few hours to get away from you and he just couldn't? It only works fast if the two people involved or one of the persons have a feelings for one of another. So either he likes you or you both like eachother. Either way Luna, we all die for not making sure you were locked away and protected." He explained. I stood, dumbfounded. No way. There was no way that Theo had feelings for me and that's why the blood moon's lust kicked in for him almost instantly. "Impossible." I shook my head and felt my heart pounding. "He's just my friend and he's alone here. He only knows me, he couldn't have had feelings." I rush my words and George shakes his head. The more I look at him the more I remind myself that I had no reason not to believe George. He was an older and wise man. He knew more then I imagine. "Oh George! I need your help! Theo's scent is all over me and I know Kingsley and Kale will smell it a mile away! How can I get ride of it?" I pleaded while holding his arm. "If I help you hide it I am going against Alpha Kingsley, Luna." He replied lowly. "George, I will never forgive you if you don't help me, I need to save your life, Theo's and every commander who was on duty to protect me last night. You have to help me George! You have to!" Tears filled my eyes again and George nodded his head. "If I die, it will be for helping my Luna and not deceiving my Alpha." He assured me and out his familiar hand on my shoulder. "I have to run home and have my wife make it for you. It's a recipe used for cloaking the smell of wolves when we are going under secrets attacks and trying to mask our scents."

"You have a wife?." I sniffled. George smiled and nodded. It was good to know that George had some sort of family here. I felt bad for other commanders who didn't have family here, like Felix. But, the entire pack considered each other family anyway so I guess it wasn't that bad. "You stay here so you don't spread Theo's scent around okay?"

"Okay." I agreed. "George?"

"Yes Luna?" He turned around curiously.

"Where did Theo go?"

George walked back over to me and exhale. He looked in my eyes thoughtfully. "I forgot to tell you Luna. The pack has detected rouge trespassers at 6am this morning; right after the blood moon had ended. We alerted Alpha Kingsley and Kale because there was many of them, and it seemed as though they knew to attack exactly when your mates had left the pack. Leading us to believe that they have been watching us. Someway, somehow they knew to attack when the Biggest threats were not around." I put my hand over my mouth and felt fear rush through me. "So Theodore, a long with many other commanders volunteered to search for the remaining wolves that we could not find. Kingsley and Kale will be here in a few hours so you have time to clean up your scent and I'll have the chiefs make you something spicy to clean you from the inside."

"Thank you George, for everything." I told him quietly. I went back into the room, closing it quietly. I couldn't believe what i had done. I had sex with another guy. Someone who wasn't my mates. Someone who wasn't Kingsley. The only person I should've been with on the blood moon. I was scared to death wondering what my mates would do if they found out what I did. I knew I had to tell them eventually. A secret like this couldn't be kept. No secrets could be kept. I would be an 100% hypocrite, doing something like this behind their backs and keeping a secret, knowing I advised them to stop keeping secrets from me. Plus this stupid blood moon lust thing wasn't my fault. I couldn't control myself and neither could Theo. Especially since he liked me? I still couldn't drink that in. Before last night, I looked at Theo like a long lost best friend. Someone who I connected to on a unspoken emotional level. I understood him, and he understood me. We just meshed. I looked at him as a family member, he was a safety net to me. I looked at him and just felt protectiveness. Like I didn't want him getting hurt again. I felt his emotions were fragile and that maybe I could make it better by being here for him. I did NOT look at him in any other way. Yes he was cute, handsome even. But I did NOT lust for him. The others girls in the pack looked at him and saw this tall, beautiful guy with these green eyes and flirty smile. But I saw sadness, I saw loneliness, and at times in his eyes I saw emptiness. I saw his need to belong, his need to do right and his obsession with following his orders.

I didn't want to keep this from my mates, but I know when I tell them it won't be good. Even if they comfort me and tell me it's okay, it will still anger Kingsley. He will act out, he will want to kill Theo and George. I can't let them die over me. Kale will be become emotionless. His smile won't meet his eyes anymore and his touch will be different. Kingsley will feel like somethings been stolen from him and Kale will feel stabbed right in the stomach. It would hurt them both physically and mentally, knowing that I gave the only virginity that I will have, to another man.

I flinched when a knock sounded on the bedroom door. I was sitting on the floor leaning against it. I opened it and George was there will Taylor and Eleanor. "Ariel!" She ran in and we hugged. They both looked worried. I took the large pot from George while he stood in the doorway. Fill the tub with this and add warm water, soak in it for about 30 minutes and you will undetectable. We had stuff peppers cooking in the kitchen, it will be done when you are finished bathing."

"Thank you so much George, I owe you." I smiled "You owe me nothing Luna." He nodded his head, closed the door and left. In silence, I motioned for the girls to follow me into the bathroom. I filled the tub with the pot of clear liquid into the tub and then let the tub water run. I undressed and slid under the water. I added soap to the water for bubbles so my privates aren't on display. Even though I know Taylor and Eleanor didn't care either way. Taylor sat on the floor in front of the tub while Eleanor sat beside her on top of the closed toilet seat. Taylor turned the water off for me and for a few moments we sat in silence, gathering our own thoughts. I noticed they were both wearing pajamas which made me think of last night, and how it might've affected them. "So what lucky guys did you two end up spending the night with?" I smirked making them both smile. Taylor proped her arms up on the tub, and spilled all the beans.

"A commander in the pack named Ryke. We were all standing outside of Eleanor's when it happened. It was like 20 or 30 minutes after you left the house with George, the sky got dark and the red moon came out. People were excited, running around cheering and screaming they were ready. It was mad." Taylor excitedly exclaimed with wide eyes.

"I hooked up with Felix." Eleanor spoke. My eyes widened some more. "No you didn't!" I raised my voice. Felix was a quiet, but focused kind of guy. He was definitely around Eleanor's age but I couldn't imagine him indulging in any sexual activity and I didn't want to imagine it either.

"Well thankfully stuff like this are meaningless the day after. So it should be too awkward when we see them again." Taylor shrugged at Eleanor. "I don't know Taylor, I feel kind of embarrassed because of some of the stuff i did last night." Eleanor shook her head.

"Tell me about it." I added. "I don't know how I am going to ever face Theo after what we'd done." The thoughts of our wild night invaded my mind. His touch, his lips, his groaning voice telling me how I was his, his forever.

"So it was Theodore!" Eleanor squealed. "Holy shit!" Taylor covered her mouth with her hand. My face instant turned red at there reactions. "Obviously George didn't tell us why he was bring you this big pot, but when we saw your hair all crazy and heard him say 'washing away a scent' we put it all together."

"Well I don't know what I am going to do." I huffed.
Taylor nodded and Eleanor gave me a thoughtful look. "Whatever you decide, just let us know and we will be 100% support and on board."

"Thank you guys, really I needed to hear that." I exhaled and willed myself not to cry. "I meant what I said before." Eleanor looked at me. "I will do anything to prove that you can trust me." She assured me.

Taylor found some body wash underwear the bathroom sink and they both left the room to go fix the bed for me. I drained the tub, and then showered with the body wash, scrubbing as hard as I could. When I was finished the girls had jeans and a t-shirt with under garments on the bed for me that they got from mine and my mates room. I took the clothes in the bathroom and Eleanor went down stairs to go check on the food. When I was finished I opened the door so Taylor could see I was dressed. She stood beside me at the mirror and stared at me through the mirror.

"Don't get mad at me for asking." She pursed her lips. I stopped brushing my hair and stared at her through the mirror. "But did you like what happened last night?" She tucked her hair behind her ear and waited for my answer. My head slowly went up and then down in a nod. "It was because of the blood moon's lust though. I didnt like him." I whispered. I felt like saying anything like that about Theo out loud would be get me in big trouble. It was like I was being listened to, even though it was just us.

"And because he likes you Ariel." She told me. I pressed my lips together as we stared at each other again. Taylor was very smart so I know she knew a thing or two about these blood moon things. She hugged me sideways and left the conversation alone.
"Let's go eat." I put the brush down and took her hand. We silently went to eat brunch. I knew she purposely waited for Eleanor to leave to ask me that question. Her and Eleanor were both proving to me that they could be trusted. I was very glad about that, but it seemed that the more things got good, the worst other things seemed to get.
