(Song: All The Right Moves by OneRepublic)
"Boo!" I hear a voice, who I immediately recognize as Kyle's, say.

I turn around and smile. "Wow, you really got me there," I say.

"I know. It takes years and years of practice, but you'll get it one day too," he says jokingly. "Anyway, you ready to go?" He asks.

"Yup," I say as I swing my backpack over my shoulder.

When we arrive in the auditorium, Kyle says "okay, El, you can just sit right here next to Maya. I have to go judge. I'll see you back there," he says, pointing to one of the seats and planting a kiss on my cheek.

"Okay, see ya," I say and sit down next to Maya, the girl who Kyle introduced me to at the meeting.

"Wow, PDA in public now, huh?" Maya says with a slight chuckle.

"Yeah," I say, returning the chuckle.

"Kyle's a great guy. You're really lucky to have him," she says.

"Oh, believe me, I know. He treats me so well. I probably don't deserve him," I say.

"That's not true! You're a great girl," Maya says.

"Aw, thank you," I reply. Maya is such a sweet person. It makes me wonder why Kyle isn't dating her. I get not dating Kimmy because she has a horrendous personality, but Maya is absolutely beautiful and she has a great personality. "So, what are you trying out for?" I ask.

"The lead female part. I'm not to sure I'll get it though," she chuckles. "What about you?"

"What? You're crazy talented. I'm sure you'll get it. And I guess just any part would be cool to get. I don't really have a specific person I want to be," I tell her.

"Thank you. And I'm sure you'll get a great part as well," she says.

"Thanks," I say.

Before I know it, someone comes out and tells me it's my turn to audition. I am the last one in the room. I take a deep breath and walk to the classroom where auditions are being held.

When I walk in I see Kyle and the two theater teachers. "Hello, Miss Styles. What are you going to be performing for us?" Mrs. Sullivan, a teacher, asks.

"Hi, I'm going to sing The Scientist by Coldplay," I say.

"Wonderful, do you need any instruments for this?" She asks.

"Yes. I use the guitar," I tell her.

Kyle stands up and grabs one of the guitars from the back and hands it to me. "Good luck," he whispers in my ear before taking his seat again.

"Now, are there any parts that you have in mind that interest you?" Mrs. Sullivan asks.

"Um, I'd like any part with backup vocals," I say. I didn't have the courage to sing alone on stage.

"Okay, perfect. You may begin whenever you're ready," she tells me.

I nod my head and look at Kyle. He gives me a reassuring smile and I begin.

I finish the song and am actually quit happy with myself. I don't think I messed up at all and my voice didn't break at any time. "Wow! We may have a good female lead in a couple of years," Mr. Simms, the other teacher says.

"Oh, thank you," I say. Geez, I am so awkward.

"We'll definitely be getting back to you, Ellie. Just look for you're name posted on the board tomorrow to see your part," he says.

I look over at Kyle and he smiles. "Great job, Ellie. I'll be done in a couple minutes and then I'll drive you home, okay?" He says. I nod my head and walk out of the room with a smile. That went a lot better than I expected.

Kyle's POV
"So we just need to place Maya, Ellie, and Kimmy. And either Maya or Kimmy will be lead," I tell the teachers.

"Okay. I personally think Maya will make a perfect lead," Mrs. Sullivan says.

"I second that," Mr. Simms says, weighing in his opinion.

"Alright. I'll mark Maya down as lead for Gabriella. And now we have Gabriella's Mom and Sharpay's mom. I think Ellie should play Gabriella's Mom," I tell them. I can't see Ellie playing Sharpay's mom. Plus, Gabriella's mom has more lines and Kimmy doesn't deserve as many lines a Ellie.

"Alright. I can see that. And then Kimmy will be Sharpay's mom," Mrs. Sullivan says. Mr. Simms agrees, so I mark them down. "Okay, I'll see you guys tomorrow," I say while standing up and grabbing my backpack.

"Sounds like a plan. See you later," mrs. Sullivan says.

I walk out of the room and to the entrance of the school where I find Ellie sitting on a bench. "Hey, Ellie. You ready?" I ask. She looks up and nods her head.

"Did you decide on the parts?" She asks.

"Yup," I tell her and hold her hand.

"What did I get? What did I get? What did I get?" She asks excitedly.

I laugh at her question and say, "can't tell you until tomorrow. It's a secret. But, you got a part that is very rare for underclassmen to get, so good job."

"Really?" She asks, surprised.

"Don't be surprised. The teachers love your voice. You have real talent," I tell her as I open the passenger car door for her.

"Thanks, Kyle," she tells me, blushing slightly. She is so cute when she blushes.

"No problem," I say and start the car. "Wanna go to the coffee shop before I drop you off?"

"Would I?" She says with a smile. "Why, I thought you'd never ask."

I chuckle at her response and say, "Anything for my princess." I make a left toward the coffee shop and pull into the parking lot.

Harry's POV
I decided to go to the coffee shop with Louis today. We're writing a song together and we wanted to get a change of scenery.

I order a coffee with cream and Louis orders a pink and purple berry Frappuccino. I swear if he drinks any more of it he's going to overdose on sugar.

It's about 4:30 when I see Kyle and Ellie walk in. What are they doing here? I thought Ellie would be coming home right after auditions. Why wouldn't she tell me where she's going? I'm probably just overreacting. I should let her enjoy her time; it's just a cup of coffee, after all.

Or at least that's what I thought.

I secretly watch them from our table to make sure they weren't doing anything, but then I see what I never thought I'd be seeing: a kiss.

Not just a kiss. This is a full out make-out session. Kyle's hands are wrapped around Ellie's waist and Ellie has her hands entangled in his hair. I excuse myself from the table and Lou completely understands why.

I walk over to them and put my hands on their table, but they don't notice. I clear my throat and they both look up at me.  "Dad! What are you doing here?" Ellie asks, surprised.

"I could ask you the same thing. I don't remember receiving a text from you," I tell her.

Her face flushes red. I didn't mean to embarrass her, but I can't have her making out with random people, especially Kyle, who is a senior.

"It's just coffee, Dad. Calm down," she says, defending her actions.

"This doesn't look like coffee," I say while motioning my hands toward the two of them. "Come on, you can explain in the car while I think of your punishment," I tell her seriously.

"No," she says.

"Yes. Now say goodbye to Kyle," I tell her.

"No. You go," She retorts.

"I'm going to tell you one more time, Ellie. Get out of the booth and come with me," I say, the frustration clear in my voice.

"I'm not leaving with you," she says angrily.

I hear Kyle sigh and begin to speak before I can. "Ellie, you should go. I don't want to cause any drama, okay?" He says. For once, I am actually liking Kyle.

"Fine," She says softly and gets out of the seat. I grab her by the arm and walk with her out the door and to the car.
