I didn't go to school Wednesday. Everyone was a little too nervous to have me go to school just because of what happened on Tuesday, and I was upset because on Thursday, art had a field trip, I wasn't taking art, but William, Franchesca and Josie were, and then to top all that off, even Georgia was gone, she was at a dance competition, she had a jazz routine. I was all alone today. I was walking to lunch, where I would sit, alone, when Luke grabbed my wrist, not harshly, he just held my wrist.

"Hi." I said, turning around to face him.

"Hi, you wanna have lunch with me?" He asked, he seemed, not evil today, and I was gonna eat alone anyway, so why not.

"Ok." I smiled, and turned the other direction to walk with him.

"Do you happen to know why Nick wasn't in school yesterday, or today?" He asked feigning innocence.

"Yeah, he's in Juvie." I smiled to myself a bit.

"Why?" He looked at me, as we walked.

"Because he... Um..." I looked at the ground, "all I can say is he deserved it."

"Did he though?" Luke asked, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

"Yes."

"Alright, whatever you say babe." His had slide down from my shoulder to my waist. I didn't do anything, I couldn't do anything, not while we were on school grounds, we all know the principal wouldn't side with me in a million years. We walked outside, to the bike racks, which, apparently is where he ate. 5 or 6 of his friends were there as well, and I instantly regretted my decision to sit with him. He went over to them, and started talking, whilst I sat on the ground, with my legs neatly curled under me, and took out my lunch. Vanessa made me a lunch, because she's just the sweetest person ever.

"Oh, how sweet, you brought me lunch." Luke took my lunch bag out of my hands. "what a good girlfriend." He patted my head, and opened the bag.

"Excuse you, I'm not your girlfriend, and can I have my lunch back?" I asked, standing up.

"No, I mean, it's not like you really need it. You could stand to lose some weight." He smirked opening it. I rolled my eyes and sat down.

"You're right." I said, crossing my arms.

"I know I'm right, I'm always right." He pulled out 2 folded pieces of paper from my lunch bag. "Oh, do mommy and daddy write you letters and put them in your lunch?" He asked in a baby voice.

"Give those to me." I asked, jumping up and grabbing them out of his hand. "They're none of your business." I said, sitting back down and sticking them in my pocket making a mental note to read them next period.

"Ok, ok, sorry sweetie." He sat down next to me and started eating MY lunch. I pulled out my phone, and started scrolling through Instagram, because I had nothing to do for the next 25 minutes, other than sit here and pray none of them tried to make a move on me, other than Luke, whose hand was on my waist again. I just couldn't muster up the energy to give a crap.

After lunch, school went by quickly, and Lin picked me up afterwards.

"Is it cool if we go straight there?" He asked, pulling out of the parking lot. "I have a lot of work to do."

"Yeah, it's fine, I'll take a nap behind my little counter."

"Ok, you do you, you do you." He laughed a little, "how was your day?" He asked.

"It was fine." I responded, choosing not to tell him what happened at lunch.

"Alright, alright." We talked from then on about what shows I needed to see and when, because apparently this discussion did not die on Tuesday, no, I still get to see shows on Broadway. Yay me.

I did what I said I was going to do, I took a 2 hour nap, waking up at 6:00, when the house manager shook me awake to tell me he was opening the doors. That was pleasant, I actually woke up then had to start working in like 30 seconds. If there's one thing I don't get tired of, it's my job. It really is, I love my job, I love working here, selling merch is so much fun, especially when people tip you. A lot of people tip me, a lot of people know my story, and they for some reason, feel obliged to give me money, because no, I was not just adopted by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and I am in desperate need of money for my very survival. Duh.

As the show ended, I ran backstage, in fear of the masses that would soon flood the lobby, viciously trampling me. I made it in the knock of time, and was talking to Pippa in her dressing room, while I waited to leave.

"Knock knock?" Lin knocked on the entryway to her dressing room, as the door was open, because she was just getting her purse. "Abigail, there's someone I think you'd really like to meet." He took my hand, grinning ear to ear, and led me to his dressing room.

"What is this about, who could be so important? Is this going to be another rapper I don't know the name of?" I asked, then he shoved me into his dressing room.

"Idina, I'd like you to meet my daughter, this is Abigail. Abigail, this is Idina Menzel." He stepped back a little bit, and I stood there, ready to cry, this was the best thing ever. I loved Idina so much.

"Hi! It's so great to meet you, I've heard so much about you, like, in the news, just, you're so strong." She put her hand on my shoulder, and I almost fainted.

"Hi." I smiled, I grinned, I was ecstatic, "I'm a huge fan. Seriously, I just, I love you, I don't know how to say this without sounding creepy." She laughed a little.

"It's ok, you don't sound creepy." She reassured.

"Lin, can you leave?" I asked, pushing him out of his own dressing room. He tried to say something, but I shut the door before he could. "Ok, so, I have a favor to ask, if that's ok?" I nervously asked.

"Sure, and why does it require him to not be here?" She asked.

"I'm supposed to sing something for the cast, for when my class goes and sees Hamilton, can I run some ideas by you? Because they're all from If/Then, because it was here."

"Of course! I'd love to help, just, hand me your phone." She held her hand out, and I handed her my phone. "I don't have time now, but call me anytime. I'd love to work out a performance for you." She handed me my phone back, with her number in it.

"Thank you so much!!" I beamed, "it was really a dream some true to meet you." I gushed a bit.

"You're welcome, and it was great to meet you as well." She responded, with that I left, and let Lin go back into his dressing room.

My birthday's tomorrow, and I have to be at school an hour early, and I have a really intense callback after school. Wish me luck.
