I woke up to the smell of blueberry pancakes wafting in from the kitchen. If there was any way the human was intended to be woken, it was by the scent of blueberry pancakes. I made my way into the kitchen, still in my pajamas, with my bed head in a ponytail.

"Who made the pancakes?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"Me!" Vanessa raised her hand gleefully.

"Much thank. Many thank." I said, getting myself a pancake and sitting at the table.

"So, the boot's off?" Vanessa asked.

"Yep, I can walk again!" I grinned.

"Yay for you!!" She cheered raising a glass of orange juice, then downing it.

"Ladies ladies." Lin hushed us, "Sebastian's still sleeping, I think this is a record."

"Ok," I whispered, "what time do you have to be there today?" I asked, taking a bite of my pancake.

"We," he clarified, "have to be there at 10:00."

"Oh, well then." I glared at him across the table, viciously stabbing my pancake. "thanks for telling my at, 9:00 in the morning." he laughed a little, this was no joking matter, this was my Saturday morning. "why so early, and why do I have to be there?" I asked.

"We have to rehearse a bit." he shrugged, "and I was planning on having you learn some of the choreo."

"what?" I gagged a little on my orange juice. "In what world does it make sense to have me dance?"

"I thought we went over this at the White House, you want to be serious about theatre? This is how you do it, learn to do the dances with a Broadway cast, it won't be hard."

"So, I'm spending my morning dancing?" I asked.

"Yeah, and you have to work the 2:00 show, and the 8:00 show."

"Well, thats one way to get a workout in." I laughed a little.

Breakfast ended far too soon for my taste, literally, Vanessa makes the best pancakes though. Before I knew it I was in dance shorts, a Schuyler Sisters t-shirt and character heels, standing on the stage, stretching prior to the rehearsal.

"Mind if I join you?" Lexi asked, walking over to me.

"No, not at all." I smiled.

"So, do you usually show up to choreo?" she asked.

"Nope, this is the first time, Lin wants me to learn, the ways of the thespian." I said with an over-exaggerated snobby accent.

"I HEARD THAT! AND I DID NOT SAY THAT!" I heard Lin from somewhere backstage, and I started laughing.

"OK, so he said something along those lines."

"THAT'S BETTER!"

"So, in other words, he wants you to get into theatre?" she clarified.

"Yeah, that may have been a nicer way to put it." I conceded

"I AGREE WITH LEXI!" When we heard him yell that we both burst out laughing.

"WHERE THE CRAP ARE YOU?!" I yelled back to him.

"BAHAHAHAHA!" Was the response I received.

"Ok, when I first came into my audition," Lexi started. "I met him and I was like, 'oh, he's pretty funny. He'd be fun to work with!' Then I started the show and then I thought, 'oh, he's like this all the time. Wow' and now, here we are, I am starting to accept that he is actually, legitimately, clinically, insane."

"I NO LONGER AGREE WITH LEXI! OR DO I? BAHAHAHAHA!" Ok, where was he, and why was he eavesdropping?

"Clinically insanely?" I asked, "nice way to put it." I laughed a little.

"Ok guys!" Andy announced, entering the stage, "My Shot was a little off last night so we should probably start with that, can everyone get into places?" I was a little confused, given the fact that I wasn't a cast member, I didn't exactly have 'places' "Abigail, you're filling in for Alysha, so," he fumbled then pointed randomly to an empty spot which I immediately went to. "Ok, ok. Wait." Andy stopped briefly, "where's Lin?"

"You're guess is as good as mine." I shrugged.

"Ugh." Andy rolled his eyes, "LIN WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?"

"Coming!!" We heard Lin from backstage, then some running, and then he got into places so we could start rehearsal.

So, essentially the music started then I remembered something important about myself. I can't dance. I was supposed to take this time to learn the dance, so any major corrections weren't going to me, probably because I wasn't going to screw up live, because I'm not cast, because I'm 15.

"AND I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!
I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!
HEY YO IM JUST LIKE MY COUNTRY IM YOUNG SCRAPPY AND HUNGRY AND IM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!" The live sing/rapping was too much for me to handle, not vocally, but holy crap these people were talented.

"Ok, I think we've got this one pretty much down, so, um, Schuyler?" Andy asked, after about an hour of not throwing away our shots. "5 minute break? How does that sound? Ok. Be back in 5 minutes." With that, Andy left the stage to go who knows where.

The rest of rehearsal went really well, but was really hard. Dang, I cannot dance to save my own life.

I worked both shows, and I forgot to bring a change of clothes, so I worked in dance shorts and character heels, and I was very grateful that I worked behind a counter, except, I did go out to eat with Pippa, so, I mean, people saw me, but that's the least of my worries.

Andy worked me on My Shot between shows today, I don't know why he was so invested in me learning the dance, I wasn't in the show. Anyways, the evening show was set to finish in about 15 minutes, so I went backstage ahead of time, because I just really wanted to go home, I feel like my presence there might encourage Lin to speed up the leaving process. I was wrong.

I was standing in the wings watching bows, when Lin saw me, smiled, then stepped forward a little.

"Ok! So I know y'all just DYING to get out of here, but there's something you all need to see!" He motioned to me to come onstage, and I awkwardly shook my head, I don't have stage fright, I just, didn't really want to, didn't know if I was supposed to. As if to answer my question, he ran backstage and grabbed my hand and pulled me onstage. "OK! SO THIS," he put his hands on my shoulders, "IS ABIGAIL, and we spent like 3 hours today teaching her My Shot so, if we could all get into places for My Shot at the 1st company chorus," he instructed, and everyone got into places and people who weren't in the number moved to the side. "Um... Lac, we good?" Lin yelled into the orchestra pit, to be greeted with a thumbs up, "alright!" He yelled getting in place too, "remember, watch the small one not in costume!!"

"AND I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!
I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!
HEY YO IM JUST LIKE MY COUNTRY IM YOUNG SCRAPPY AND HUNGRY AND IM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!
I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!
I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!
HEY YO IM JUST LIKE MY COUNTRY IM YOUNG SCRAPPY AND HUNGRY AND IM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!" We sang and danced the part, and oddly enough, the crowd erupted, I think they'd applaud anything we said or did though, kind of part of the gig.

"Thank you guys!!!" Lin yelled to the crowd, and the curtain closed. "THAT WAS AWESOME!!" Lin was jumping around like a small child, "I'll go get dressed, but, we're stage dooring so, yeah." I internally groaned, stage dooring though... "You were awesome!" He yelled back to me, as he ran off, leaving me I the stage laughing.

We finally walked outside, to a mob of screaming people, Lin immediately bent down and started signing playbills, I stood there idly until I heard my name in the extensive screaming, I turned around towards it, and saw a really excited girl, who looked about my age, in the monsterous mass of people, leaning on the barricades, so I walked over, and the screaming intensified, I looked over my shoulder to see if someone had walked out, that had triggered the high pitched girly screams, nope, apparently it was for me.

"Can you sign my playbill?!" The girl who had screamed my name asked.

"Me?" I clarified, and she nodded hysterically, "sure, one sec," I ran back over to Lin, "hey do you have..." He handed me a sharpie from his back pocket, and I went back over to the girl, took her playbill and signed it. Right after I handed her her phone back, like 10 more people we handing me playbills, I signed all of them and returned them to their respective owners. "Guys?" I asked the jumble of girls, "can I get a picture with all of you?" I asked them, pulling my phone out.

"WAIT REALLY?" One blonde asked.

"Yeah, you're my first fans!" I said, opening the camera on my phone.

"HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP!" A brunette in a Hamilton sweatshirt started yelling. I took the picture. "I'm gonna Instagram this, what are your usernames? I'm gonna tag you." They rattled off a list on Hamilton themed usernames, and all got really excited. I had no idea I had fans. They all wanted individual pictures with me too. I'm pretty sure this was as cool for me as it was for them, if not more. I signed more crap for people, before we left, as we were leaving I handed Lin his pen back.

"Well, someone has fans." He said playfully elbowing me.

"I do!" I was still grinning, "this was the best day ever!"
