Continued from previous chapter:

"So, you've met Obama twice?" I asked Daveed.

"Yeah. Once when he came to see the show, and a second time when he came to talk at the show."

"Wow. Wow." Apparently that's all I can say, wow.

There are a couple of things you tend to notice if you ever meet the President. One, apparently, he owns nothing but variations of the same suit, it would be nice to see him in pajama pants, a t-shirt and slippers. Two, his voice is very president. I mean, our president is quite presidential. And three, Obama is pretty chill. I'm serious, he was a cool guy! The way he talked to us, the way he greeted Lin, regardless of whether you're a Democrat or a Republican, regardless of whether or not you agree with how Obama is running out country, you have to agree that he's just a really great guy, he's nice, he's funny, he's a genuinely caring person. Regardless of whether you agree with him or not, you should like him.

"Excuse me?" An attendant came into the room, "um, we need you in here for the sound check." Somewhat quickly, everyone got up and made their way into a large room where they were supposed to be performing. "Alright. So we have 6 mics. How many soloists are in the first number?" He asked bringing us into the room.

"Oh, um, we have, Me, Anthony, Lin, Daveed, Pip, Chris and Oak. So, 7." Leslie replied

"Ok, are you ok with sharing a mic? Will that work?"

"Yeah, that'll work. That'll work." Lin said, "do you want us to run the number?" He asked.

"Yeah, can you?" Everyone who wasn't soloing in the first song all had seats off to the left of the stage.

They ran the song, Chris shared a mic with Pippa and then with Lin, but when he shared it with Lin he had to bring it up 5 inches. Wow. I feel like I was the only one who found that funny. They ran Alexander Hamilton, My Shot and One Last Time before the sound check ended.

"So, the students should be here at 11:00, it's 7:00, so, are you all up for a tour?"

"Um, yes... I think we're always up for a tour of the white house." Chris confirmed.

"Alright! So, lets go!" We followed the attendant out of the East Room, "now, many of your characters have paintings in the white house, for example," he said stopping in front of a painting of Thomas Jefferson.

"Eyy! That's my dude!" Daveed said, pointing at the portrait, "Yo Austin take my picture!" Daveed went and stood in front of the picture of Thomas Jefferson, grinning while Austin took a photo using Daveeds phone. "Thanks man." he said taking his phone back.

"Alright, and on we go," the attendant said, walking forward. Jazzy and Anthony got a picture of the two of them in front of a clock. I don't get that, and I didn't think to ask. Probably because you cannot question any aspect of their relationship, too perfect, there are no flaws. I love them so much.

"AYYY HOMEBOY!" Obviously, Lin found the painting of Hamilton, he ran up to it and actually threw his phone at me, "take my picture." I laughed too hard, but took a picture of him in front of Hamilton.

"I see you're here." I turned around to see Michele Obama. Holy crap this day just keeps getting better. "I'm sorry I wasn't there to greet you earlier, I had something I had to do. However, its great to be seeing you all now." This. Is. The. Best. Day. Of. My. Life. "I believe that I've met most of you, when I saw the show, all of you but Abigail." she gestured to me, and my eyes widened, "I'm Michele Obama, its great to meet you."

"It's amazing to meet you, and, you know who I am?" I asked, dumbfounded that she would know my name, much less be able to attach it to a face.

"Yes, of course, I follow the news, Hamilton is pretty big in our house, so, we know who you are."

"Oh my gosh!" I gushed, "well, it's pretty big in our house too." I turned around to see Lin bent over laugh-crying.

"I would assume so. Enjoy the rest of your tour." With that she walked away, but Lin kept laughing.

"'It's pretty big in our house too'" he repeated laughing. "What?"

"I couldn't think of anything to say." I replied laughing too.

"But why that? Why was that he first thing that came to mind?"

"I don't know, it just was."

"Ok. To do. Sign Abigail up for Improv classes." He walked on with the group, still laughing.

"I'm sorry! I was flustered."

"Yeah. Ok. Saving face. You're still taking lessons."

"Wait seriously?"

"Yeah." He replied, "I'm signing you up for musical theatre workshops."

"Isn't this a musical theatre workshop?"

"yes, but colleges like to see legit ones."

"You think I could make it into a performing arts college?" I asked.

"Definitely. It's the first step before a legitimate career. That is what you want right?" He asked.

"Um, yeah. Yeah it is."
