"CANNONS!!" The loud Hailer exploded from my phone informing me, that I was either about to die in the June Rebellion, or I had to get up. I freaked out and quickly grabbed my phone turning the alarm off. Ugh, 5:30. I pulled myself out of bed, I limped to the bathroom, my cast was off, but I still had to wear a boot, and use crutches. I managed to shower, then put on my robe so I could tackle my hair. After I blow dried my hair straight, it was 6:00, crap. I fumbled around my hotel room, and changed into a neat, modest navy dress, and put a matching headband in my newly straight hair. I looked at myself in the mirror. I would look a heck of a lot nicer without the giant black boot and crutches, I mean, I was going to the White House. I made it downstairs at 6:15, good job Abigail.

"Morning! Muffin?" Pippa came up to me in the Hotel lobby and handed me a muffin.

"Yes thank you! Good morning to you too." I greeted, taking a bite of said muffin. Ah, cinnamon.

"You excited?!" She asked grinning.

"Yes! Of course I am! I'm also tired, but I'm always tired, so that's not important." Pippa laughed a little, and responded.

"Yeah, this is what coffee was invented for."

"Agreed." I smiled. Eventually we were ushered onto the bus, and everyone was brimming with excitement, however, I was the only one here who hadn't met the President. I was flat out nervous. Finally the bus stopped in front of the White House, and all of us got out. Lin was videoing the cast as they walked in, he was probably going to tweet that. He tweets everything.

We were ushered into the building, where we all had to be checked for weapons, they checked inside my boot, I mean, I see why, but, really? It really slowed us down, I mean, they didn't check anyone else's shoes. Eventually the brought us into what seemed like a waiting room, which was gorgeous. After about 5 minutes, the doors re-opened, and secret service walked in, oh my gosh this was happening. Before I knew it I was in the same room as Barak Obama. Holy crap. He gave a little welcome speech, but I was kind of pre-occupied with the nature of the situation. Eventually he stopped talking and some of the cast members were re-introducing themselves, Lin grabbed my arm and pulled me along behind him.

"Lin!" Oh, I see, Obama remembers Lin. He shook his hand, "how have you been?"

"I've been great, so there's someone, I would like for you to meet," he lightly pushed me forward, "this is Abigail." I shyly waved.

"Abigail?" He confirmed, "It's great to meet you." He shook my hand, then turned to Lin, "how are you two affiliated?"

"Oh, she's my daughter." He explained.

"Ah, she's the one you adopted, I saw the news stories. Congratulations." He said to the both of us, "if you don't mind me asking, what happened to your foot?" I looked down to the large boot on my left foot.

"Oh, um," I stumbled, I didn't know if I should tell him. I mean, he has more important things to deal with than my crappy ex-brother. "It was, um. Nothing."

"Yeah. Does this have anything to do with why you're adopted?" I nodded my head. "I see," he put a hand on my shoulder re-assuringly, "anytime you're willing to talk out about it, let your dad know, he knows how to get a hold of me. I can help." I nodded, shocked. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to deal with something." With that he walked away, and left the room.

"Oh my gosh, holy crap, wait what?" I gushed, "I just met the President of the United States of America, me, I met Obama. Obama knows my name. Holy crap." It was so surreal, he's someone you never realized actually existed, you just feel like you'll only see them on TV, you'll only see them in a picture, when you're in the same room as one of those people, it's crazy.

"You never get used to it. You could meet that guy 5 more times and you would still go into shock." Daveed explain coming over to me. "You'll never get used to it."

Sorry for a short chapter!
