(Continued from previous chapter)

After our movie finished, we ended up sitting in a circle, surrounding the food.

"Sooo..." Georgia started, "what's your boyfriend like Abigail?" She turned to face me. Franchesca and Josie giggled a little when she asked, I did not talk about this subject often.

"He's nice, we're really different though."

"How long have you been together?" She pressed on.

"Umm... Not long, about a month, yeah, it was a month on Saturday." We didn't do anything for our 1 month anniversary, we both thought a month isn't really that long, we don't want to be that couple.

"That's cool." Georgia stopped asking questions but Josie and Franchesca didn't.

"You never did tell us what happened on your date Friday."

"Yeah what happened?!" They bombarded me with William questions. Ugh.

"Not much happened, we went bowling and watched a movie in a movie fort he made us. It wasn't like he took me to the opera then we went to Cinderellas ball. We're sophmores in High School, we don't have thousands of dollars to spend on dates." I relplied. I loved the date, he was super sweet, and if was really simple, that's what made it great.

"Ok." Josie said, "but you should tell Georgia what he did on your fist date."

"Why? Ok, never mind. So," I said turning to Georgia, "it was pretty simple, we went out to dinner and he bought me chocolate, then we walked home past the Gershwin, which is Wicked, because it's my favorite musical. Not much, but it was the first date I ever went on."

"That sounds cute."

"Yeah, it was." I sighed, "how did dance team auditions go?" I asked, switching the topic.

"Oh," Georgia seemed kind of surprised, "they went well, I feel good, I'm pretty sure I made it."

"That's awesome!" Franchesca finally piped up, "I hope you make it! None of us can dance. Soo... It would be nice to have someone who could in the group." We all laughed, it was true, unless I was onstage, specifically, as someone else, I couldn't dance to save my life. At a party I dance like a drunk Chita Rivera, but in a show, I dance like I've been taking lessons since I was 3.

"Yeah, all I can do is sing. But, it kind of sucks because I'm the worst singer in my family." I referred to the Hamilcast, who were currently onstage killing it, I couldn't do that, I'm not a Broadway star, because I would definetly blow it.

"Abigail," Josie put her hand on my shoulder dramatically, "we all know your family, you have family members who went to Julliard, don't beat yourself up over this." I rolled my eyes at Josie.

"I wasn't going to beat myself up over it, I was reminding myself that everyone in he building on a regular basis is freaky talented."

"How are you supposed to forget that?" Franchesca asked.

"Oh don't worry, every time I start to forget, someone starts singing and I'm just like, oh, ok. Dang."

We continued asking each other questions until the show ended and people flooded the lobby, we could hear the chatter from my room. I got somewhat excited when people started leaving, but also tired because it was  11:00.

10 minutes later I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Ah, a human. Soon enough I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in." I called from the beanbag I had nested in with my food and pillows. I turned towards the door.

"Hey! Anthony said you had friends over, hello!" Lin walked into my room and waved at my 3 friends who were sprawled around the room.

"Hi" the 3 girls responded simultaneously.

"Abigail, aren't you going to introduce me?" I pulled myself into a decent sitting position on my beanbag.

"Ok. Well this is Josie, Franchesca and Georgia. They are some friends from school." I pointed to each girl respectively and they all waved when I inteoduced them. "And guys, this is Lin, hopefully you know who he is."

"Of course we do!" Josie said turning to me. "That's the only reason we're friends with you." I laughed a little. The entire rest of the night went very smoothly, I fell asleep at around midnight, and had no idea when the others girls fell asleep, because I, was in dreamland, very very happily.
