Lin's POV

The audience erupted as we came back up from our second bow, I was overjoyed, yet, a bit annoyed, several people took pictures and videos of the show. The house lights came back on, and everyone started getting up from their seats, I walked backstage, and changed into my street clothes in Javi and Daveeds dressing room. I brought my clothes in there earlier because Abigail was sleeping in my dressing room and wouldn't that be awkward for the both of us? I mean, if she woke up and her dad was changing. Yeah, let's avoid that.

"Peanut?" I asked, coming into the room, "are you good to go?" I saw that Voltaire was taking advantage of Assassins Creed, with the new intern Lilly, it was on silent and Abi was sleeping.

"Hope you don't mind Lin, I mean, she was sleeping, we were bored, the game was in." Voltaire said.

"No, it's fine. Have fun." I laughed a little, and shook Abi awake.

"Huh?" She yawned, sitting up.

"Time to go Peanut." I said, and she swung her legs off of the couch.

"Okay, I just need my shoes." She said, pulling on her boots, "good to go." She smiled, standing up.

"You feeling better?" I asked, taking her hand.

"Yeah, I'm still a little light-headed, but I should be fine."

"Okay. Stay close, don't fall over." I smiled at her, as I opened the stage door to the mass of fans. I pulled her along behind me as I signed things.

"Uh, Dad?" I heard her say, as I was handing a Playbill back to someone in the middle of the crowd. "Dad, I, I'm..." She trailed of, and then I felt her grab my shoulder. I turned my head, to see her slip, and her hand leave my shoulder, and her tumble onto the ground.

"ABI!" I yelled, immediately kneeling next to her, "sweetheart, can you hear me?" I asked, moving strands of hair off of her face. I looked back into the crowd to see tons of people with phone out, videoing or taking pictures. "Sweetie, peanut, come on." I said, checking her steady pulse.

"I'm a doctor!" I heard someone yell.

"You're a doctor?" I replied, "wait who's a doctor?" I asked, looking back into the crowd, I saw a guys hand fly up. "Come here! Please!" I yelled, I saw people move out of the way for him, and I saw Angelo, one of our door guys, help him over the barricades.

"Okay, did she faint?" He asked, kneeling next to her across from me.

"Yeah, she fainted earlier too." I said.

"Okay, do you know why?" He asked checking her eyes, which rolled back.

"Yes." I said simply, fully aware people were video taping.

"Why? It would really help me." He said.

"Can we get her inside?" I asked, trying to not tell the world she was anorexic.

"Uh, sure, it would be warmer." He said, as I scooped Abi into my arms and carried her inside making sure the doctor was following us. "So, um, why did she pass out?" He asked.

"She's, um, she's anorexic." I admitted, "please be really discreet with that information, we don't want the world to know." I said, carefully setting her on the ground right inside the door.

"I can see why. So, I'm sorry but I can't be much of a help, you probably just have to wait it until she come to, but, I'm sorry she's sick." He said, standing up.

"Thank you." I said, picking Abi up again and following him outside.

"Just, um, make sure when she wakes up, she, um..." He trailed off as we were now outside.

"Yeah." I nodded to show him I understood. "Thanks again." I said.

"My pleasure!" He yelled back. I walked through the barricaded area, Abi bundled up in my arms. I picked the wrong day to walk to work, I thought as I walked down the few blocks to my apartment.

"What's going on?" I heard Abi's weak voice, and I smiled.

"You passed out again." I said, pushing the door to the building open.

"I did?" She asked, then let her head fall back again.

"Yep." I said, walking over to the elevator.

"I'm sorry." She whimpered, crossing her arms and leaning her head on the front of my shoulder.

"Don't be sorry Peanut." I said, rubbing her arm lightly. "Don't be sorry."

"I passed out at the stage door?" She asked looking up at me.

"Yeah."

"In front of all those people?" She asked, as the elevator stopped

"Yeah, I know, I'm sorry." I said, carrying her over to our apartment. "Okay Peanut, bedtime." I said, walking into her room, and laying her down on the bed. "Goodnight." I said, and kissed her forehead.

Abi's POV

I tossed and turned in bed for about an hour before I realized I wasn't going to go to sleep anytime soon. I climbed out of bed, and pulled my blanket with me, wrapping it around my shoulders. I carefully padded my way down to Vanessa's office, where she was up late working.

"Mom?" I whispered, walking inside, to see her sitting at her desk, several books and notebooks out in front of her.

"Yeah sweetheart?" She said, looking up at me, "did you have a nightmare again?" She asked.

"I can't sleep." I muttered.

"I'm sorry honey, do you want to come in? You can sit at Lins desk." She offered.

"Okay." I said, and curled up a little in his spinning chair, wrapping my blanket around me.

"You can sift through his stuff, it's high time he cleaned it out."

"Alright." I smiled a little and pulled one of his drawers open, and flipped through his notebooks. "What are you working on?" I asked, reading through some of his moleskins.

"A case for a new client." She said, and groaned. "My gosh it's like midnight."

"I know." I said, reading something from Bring It On.

"Did I ever tell you how me and your dad met?" She asked.

"No." I said, smiling at her.

"Okay, well, we went to the same school since 7th grade, and, well, did you know that your dad was a nerd?" She asked.

"Um, I, I had an inkling." I laughed a little.

"Well he was, and, anyways, we weren't really friends, we didn't really know each other, but, well, according to him he had a crush on me."

"Did he?" I asked.

"Oh definitely, he definitely did, but, well, he was a cute kid, we didn't really start dating until after college, and even then, well, we started to bond over Jay Z and video games, so, I mean, he was still a nerd." She stood up and took my hand, "wait, wedding photos." She giggled a little, and pulled me into the living room, and grabbed a photo album.

"You looked so pretty." I said, looking at her dress.

"Thanks, it was a great day." She smiled, flipping through the book. "Oh! Our cake!" She said, pointing to a picture.

"Wait, are those Thunder Cats?" I asked, pointing to their wedding cake toppers.

"Yes, actually."

"So, you said Dad was a nerd, but you skimmed over the fact that you were also a nerd."

"Well, he was, in a word, nerdier." She laughed.

"Ah, I see." I smiled.

Vanessa's POV

I was sitting in the living room with Abigail, looking through our old photo albums. We were looking through the one from our honeymoon, when I turned around and grabbed Sebastian's baby album, I turned back around to her and she was passed out on the floor, snoring softly.

"That's my little girl." I smiled a little, and yawned myself, it was late. I carefully picked her up, still wrapped in her blanket, and brought her into her room, I set her down on her bed. As I did, I sat down myself, watching her, Lin was right, she does twitch in her sleep. I yawned again, then laid down on her bed, I'll get up in a minute, was the last thing I thought before I drifted off.

Hi, so, um, well, uh, hi.

So, um, apparently it's #respecttheauthor month?? I've actually, uh, I've never gotten any hate (which I quite honestly don't get, if you want to say something like, anonymously there's a link in my bio...) but, I want to address the hate that other people have received.

Apparently, people are being rude about the quality of writing and the authors themselves. So, I have a couple things to say.

1.) We are not professional authors. I know I'm not, I only write stuff for school and this. Don't expect the quality of writing to be insane, we're not professional.

2.) Grammar. Well, uh, most of us type on phones, and, sometimes it's hard to do a full read through for spelling and grammar errors.

Thanks for reading!

- Abi
