I will never regret taking Seb into the girls dressing room, currently he was sitting on Carleighs lap, and she was attempting to give him the poof. It was actually coming along quite nicely, until Hope started playing Beyoncé, and of course Lin-Manuel Miranda's son began jumping up and down on Carleighs lap, very excitedly.

"I see my son is very popular." Lin said, walking into the room.

"He's very cute." Karla said, picking him up from Carleighs lap.

"Well, he's my kid." Lin said, smiling, and taking him from Karla. "I'm just kidding, he gets the cute genes from V. Abi on the other hand, like me, she's a theatre geek, but like V, she's on Honor Roll. The little nerd."

"Lin." I said, making eye contact, "I'm adopted." He snickered a little. "I'm not even Latina. I'm white. We don't share genes."

"I know, I know. That doesn't change the fact that you're a little nerd. Speaking of, your schools bus is pulling up, if you want to steal front row seats, now's your chance." He said, and I bolted.

"Thanks!" I yelled behind me, as I sprinted upstairs, and almost knocked Anthony over, as I ran onstage. "I'm sorry!" I freaked out, stopping in my tracks. "Are you okay? I didn't mean to do that, I'm so sorry."

"Kid, it's fine." He said, "you like barely brushed my shoulder."

"Anthony, I think I ran like, full force into you." I protested.

"Kid. You're like, a hyper puppy, you running full speed into me probably wouldn't knock me over. It's fine." He patted my shoulder, and I walked onstage.

"Child!" I saw Oak, who was already sitting waiting for the kids to start coming in.

"Hi!" I smiled.

"Are you choosing your seat before anyone else can take it?" He asked, and I nodded.

"I want to sit in the first row." I smiled, tossing my sweater to one of the front row seats. "I mean, I'm never going to win the lottery so." I shrugged, and sat down next to him.

"You nervous?" He asked.

"Oh definitely." I said, putting my head in my hands.

"Well, I mean, you're performing for us!" He said. "Nothing to be afraid of."

"Oak, that's just it. Other kids they'll perform, and they'll never see you again, so if they screw up, they don't have to face it again, me on the other hand, that's going to be an everyday occurrence."

"You're not gonna screw up. You'll be great." As he said that he leaned over and gave me a hug. "You're friends are here." He added, referring to the mass of students who began to pour into the auditorium. "I need to go hide. I'll bring you to your seat though. You're a little VIK." He said, and picked me up from my chair.

"VIK?" I asked, as he walked over to the edge of the stage.

"Very Important Kid." He smiled, and jumped off of the stage, setting me down in my seat. "I'll see you it a couple minutes. Ask Leslie what time he gets dressed in the Q&A will ya?" He asked and I nodded.

"See you!" I called to him, as he started running backstage. A crap ton of students flooded the auditorium, and some kids did some serious shoving for the front couple of rows. I looked to the seat on my right, and freaked out a little. The kid sitting next to me, looked like a high school version of Oak, and Oak had just left.

"Hi." I was pulled out of my déjà vu moment, by him speaking.

"Hey! I'm sorry, I was um, you look a lot like..."

"Oak." He cut me off, "yeah, I get that a lot."

"Yeah." I smiled, a tad awkwardly.

"My names Josh," he smiled and reached out his hand for me to shake.

"Nice to meet you, my name's Abigail." I said, shaking his hand.

"I know." He smiled.

"You do? Oh, yeah." I said realizing he fought for the front row, and was probably a big Hamilton fan.

"I'm sorry! That sounded creepy, no, it's just, you're Lin's daughter." He laughed a little, "I'm not helping my case." He smiled.

"No it's fine!" I giggled, seeing him embarrassed.

"I'm usually not like this sorry." He stopped laughing. Although, right as he stopped laughing, everyone else started screaming. I looked up, and Lin was walking across the stage to his seat. "Oh crap, that's Lin-Manuel Miranda." Josh started freaking out. "Abigail, that's Lin-Manuel Miranda, why aren't you freaking out?" I smiled at Josh, and gave Lin a small wave, which he returned. "Oh yeah." Josh said realizing. "That's your dad."

"Yeah. I guess." I smiled.

"You guess, you live with him. You're so lucky. You live with Lin-Manuel Miranda. What's that like?" He asked, excitedly.

"He's the best, that's what it's like. He's a good parent."

"I may kill you for your life. I'll take your spot."

"Okay. Go ahead." I jokingly said, and saw a really upset look slide over Josh's face.

"I shouldn't of said that. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to..." It took me a second to realize he was talking about the attempted suicide.

"No, it's fine. I'm okay now, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me." I tried to reassure him.

"I'm sorry that happened in the first place." He said, putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks." I smiled, right as I did, Lin picked up his mic, and started to introduce the event, and everyone else took their seats and they started the introductions.

"Hey. Uh, yo, my name's Anthony Ramos, I play Laurens and Phillip." He looked expectantly at Chris, who was sitting next to him.

"He's. So. Freaking. Talented." Josh whispered to me right as Anthony finished talking.

"Oh Anthony? Yeah, he's perfect." I whispered

"Agree to agree." Josh smiled at m, and I smiled back. I think I made a friend.
