I woke up 3 more times that night. Each nightmare getting progressively stranger. In the last dream I fainted in court and was carried out of the courtroom and was being driven somewhere except the seatbelt didn't work, so the guy had his arm over me like a seatbelt the entire time, it was weird.

Lin's P.O.V

I heard Abigail murmuring something about a bookstore and tea at like 3:00 in the morning, I could also hear here thrashing a bit in her bed. I sighed, and got up again, going into her room.

"Sweetheart, calm down, calm down, you're just dreaming." As soon as I said this she immediately stopped, like scary quick, I pressed my fingers to her pulse just in case, and she was alive. I sighed, and started to leave the room, when I saw her start thrashing again, I went back and put my hand on her shoulder and she stopped. I was a little confused, but then picked her up, and carried her into my room.

"What's going on?" Vanessa sat up a bit.

"She's having nightmares, it's 3, I'm not getting up again." I set her down on the bed, next to my wife, and got in next to Abigail, so she was in between us, I slung my arm over her, so she wouldn't have another crazy  dream, and fell asleep.

Abigail's POV

I woke up the next morning because I felt movement in the bed I was in. I felt the right side of the bed move, and I sat up a little. I wasn't in my room, or my bed.

"Good morning Niñita." Lin said sitting up next to me.

"What am I doing here?" I asked, referring to me being in his room.

"You kept waking up, this was easier. You don't mind do you?" He asked.

"No, yeah, it's fine." I said yawning, "what time is it?"

"6:30." Vanessa responded, coming back into the room with Seb on her hip. "Little guys up, we're up."

"Come on," Lin said, pulling himself out of bed, "you can help with him."

"Okay." I said following, "I'm freezing, I'm gonna grab my robe, I'll be right back." I hurried to my room, and grabbed my pink robe, and puppy slippers, and softly padded down to the kitchen.

"Sweetie can you take him?" Vanessa asked, coming over to me with Sebastian, I nodded and she handed him to me. "I'm getting his food, you can put him at the table." She said, going back into the kitchen.

"Good morning." I said to the little boy I was carrying. "How are you my little man?" I asked.

"Chugga chugga chugga chugga!" He chanted as I walked over to the breakfast table.

"Ok, ok, later though." I said, putting him in his little baby chair, and sitting down in my chair.

"Why do babies not sleep?" Lin asleep, slowly dragging himself into the room with a mug of coffee very near his mouth.

"I don't know." I replied, as he sat down.

"I was talking about you." He said, taking a really long sip of coffee.

"What?" I asked, slightly offended, "ok, never mind. I see where you're coming from with that one. Sorry."

"No it's fine." He laughed, "I was talking about Homeboy, but then I just thought, well, that could go for her too."

"Good morning family." Vanessa said, carrying in two mugs of coffee and Sebs baby food.

"I can help with Sebastian today." I said, standing up and taking his food from her.

"That'd be awesome, thanks." She said, putting a mug of coffee at my seat and sitting down herself. I knelt in front of Sebastian's baby chair, and started trying to give him breakfast.

"Try being a train Abi." Lin said absentmindedly. I mentally groaned but decided to try anyway. I got a spoonful of mashed something or other and took a deep breath.

"Chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga choo choo!" I said moving the spoon towards his little mouth, he cheered a little and started clapping his hands, and I succeeded in feeding him.

"'Atta girl!" Lin said, and I grinned.

"Ah ha! Girl!" Sebastian said, trying to mimic Lin, then reached up and poked my cheek, getting mushy baby food on my face. He's adorable.

"Chugga chugga chugga chugga!" Sebastian kept cheering after I had fed him about half of his breakfast.

"Alright ya goofball." Lin said, picking up Sebastian, "let's go." He started walking over to the couch.

"Yay!" He cheered as Lin set him down on the couch.

"Alright Homeboy, Chuggington it is." Lin fumbled a bit for the remote and turned it on.

"Sissy! Trains!" Sebastian yelled pointing both to me and to the TV.

"Yeah Sissy!" Lin said, "come on, there's trains"

"Alrighty." I said, and went over to the couch, plopping myself down next to Lin.

"Yay! Sissy's gonna watch the trains!" He squealed.

About halfway through the episode, Seb wandered away to who knows where. I mean, we don't know where because Lin and I did not leave the couch.

"Do you think there are people in Tootington?" I asked, absentmindedly.

"I don't know. Good question." Lin said, his eyes trained on the TV.

"Oh gosh you two." Vanessa stood staring at us, intently watching a child's TV show. Without a child.

"I'm sorry, it's interesting!" Lin said indignantly.

"For a two year old." She said. "I mean, Abi's in the clear." She said.

"I'm 15." I said, "I'm not two."

"Oh, well, I mean, you're wearing dog slippers." She said.

"Touché." I conceded.

At some point in the morning, Vanessa had dragged me into her room and was rummaging through her closet for 'court clothes' for me. Eventually she threw a sleeveless white blouse and a black pencil skirt with gold buttons at me. I changed into the outfit quickly, and then she shuffled me into the bathroom to do my hair.

"What am I supposed do?" I asked nervously, as she ran a straightener through my hair.

"Just, tell the lawyer what happened, answer everything honestly, you'll be fine."

"How long will it take?" I pressed.

"Well, a couple days." She replied.

"Ugh!" I rolled my eyes, "how do you go to court for a living?!" I asked and she laughed.

"I've been asking her that for years." Lin came into the bathroom, and started fixing his tie. "I hate ties. Why can't you wear a t-shirt to court?" He said, and I giggled.

"I mean, you can." Vanessa allowed, turning off the straightener.

"Why are you just now telling me this?" Lin asked.

"Because you would wear a Mario Cart t-shirt to court." She said, putting a black bow in my hair to finish it.

"I would. Don't say that like its a bad thing. You love my Mario Cart shirt." Lin said accusingly.

"I do, it's just other people..." She trailed off. I love mornings.

We pulled up at the courthouse at 9:30, and I got out of the car slowly. My mind was slightly blurry as we went through security, and met my lawyer. From what I gathered, he was very nice. Eventually we were seated in the courthouse, me in between Lin and my lawyer, and Vanessa was sitting on Lin's right.

I played through piano scales on the table in front of me, C then D then E and so on. I guess it was a nervous tendency. And I mean, I had reason to be nervous, because as I was on B, Mr. and Mrs. Walter came over to our little table.

"I cannot believe all of you are going through with this." Mr Walter said to the four of us.

"Your son broke the law." Lin said calmly.

"No he didn't. He did nothing, and she," Mr. Walter glared at me, and I felt Lin's hand on knee, "she always had it out for him. She's ruining our son. It's all her fault, she's ruining him."

"You're ruining him, I suggest you sit down." Vanessa said, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter stormed off to their seats, perfect timing too, because the Judge walked out right as they were seated. The judge swore in the Jury, who I just now noticed and then sat down.

"Today's case is Miss Abigail Miranda versus Mr. Nicolas Walter." The bailiff opened.

"Is the prosecution ready?" The Judge asked

"Yes, your Honor." My lawyer stood up.

"Is the defense ready?"

"Yes your Honor." Nicks lawyer stood up.

"The court is now in session."
