"I have to be better than the best if I want to change the world" I muttered while pacing the empty hallway. I waited for fresh ideas to fall from the sky ─

"Oops, ay sorry boss! Pftt-" I rubbed the right side of my head. What the- something did fall from the sky.

"Queen." My eyes turned to slits as my org mate approached me, half jogging. "Don't run around the halls, ano ka ba, 'di na tayo high school!" my eyes drifted to the small ball that rolled to the wall. Jeez. So much for ideas falling from the sky.

She stopped right in front of me, bended with her palms resting on her knees as she regained her composure. "Sorry na" she drawled with a cute small voice. "Bakit ang sungit sungit mo nanaman, Ace?"

I exhaled and shook my head, smiling. I really can't let my inner turmoils affect my life.

"Tara na?" I tilted my head and motioned it to the hall behind us. Smirking, she nodded her head. And so I spun on my heels and took a step but ended up bumping into something solid.

The heck? I keep hitting stuff- er, well the ball Queen threw technically hit me, so ─ well, whatever.

"Papunta na kayo'ng club room?" I righted myself and met the chinky eyes of Jack. He raised a dark eyebrow at me and studied my composure. "You look a bit startled, himala yata?" He smiled - or smirked, I couldn't tell.

"Yeah, she's usually this super weird ninja that legit knows na may mga tao within a 4 meter radius" King looked smug as always, he makes it his hobby to make dad jokes and any freaking joke given the chance.

"Ang sama n'yo, may dalaw yata si Ace ngayon, kanina pa 'yan wala sa sarili eh." Queen chuckled and ran behind King. These two, ugh! I swear, they're usually on opposite sides, but when it comes to annoying the hell out of people, you'd seriously want to throw a shoe on them or something.

I marched away from them but abruptly turned to face them. "Come on" I smiled and laughed a bit "Someone's gonna' get their asses whooped today."

They all sniggered but ran toward me. (well, more like Queen ran, the two casually took their time.)
Today was an important day.
You're obviously too dull if you think there are "normal" days.
