Y/N

I have always wondered if I had made the wrong decision the day I left Jimin and accepted Mrs. Park's offer to go to America, but I never regretted it. My children would never have grown to be as strong as they are now and I never would have met the person who I want to spend my life with.

But only now did I completely know, I made the right choice.

Jimin and Rose were happily standing next to each other celebrating their engagement and I couldn't be anymore happier for them.

After approaching me months ago about the venue, Jimin had finally decided the engagement party should be held on a yacht. Now everyone was starting to board the yacht so we could set sail and get this party going.

"Congratulations on your engagement." I walked up the steps to the yacht and hugged Jimin then Rose who were standing at the top greeting all the guests. "It's about time."

"Yeah, I was getting sick and tired of his grief and denial all these years." Rose rolled her eyes at her fiance.

"We got engaged in the end didn't we?" Jimin shrugged as if he didn't see anything wrong.

"I will apologize for this dumbass on his behalf." I rubbed my temples and glared at Jimin.

"Well I think it doesn't matter how we get there as long as we reach the end goal." Jungkook came behind me and placed a hand on my back. In his other arm, he was holding Ji Ae and Jihyun was standing next to him. Jungkook readjusts Ji Ae in his arm and looked at me. "Don't you think so baby?"

Rose and I scoffed. "Men."

"You're so pretty tonight!" Ji Ae exclaimed and reached out to Rose. "You look like an angel!"

"Aw thank you!" Rose gushed and touched her million dollar Tiffany & Co. necklace paired with a white gown. "You and your brother look beautiful tonight too."

"Congratulations, Uncle Jimin and Aunt Rose." Jihyun solemnly says.

The bruises on his face had long faded away, and he looked like the Jihyun we all knew and loved. But sometimes the sudden growth of maturity in his eyes scared me.

It had been a month since Sana had kidnapped the twins and her arrest. Sana and her parents tried to fight against it in court, but there was too much evidence piled against them that it ended in a flash. Jaesuk had even testified and pleaded guilty on stand which brought a lot of shock to Sana.

Now the two of them are in jail but as promised to Jaesuk, the two of them will be exported back to Japan once Sana gives birth. Jaesuk would look after them and Sana would continue her sentence on parole and do community service. I didn't watch the verdict, but I did visit Sana in jail a week later. She actually believed she got off easy because of her merit, but when I told her the deal Jaesuk struck with us, I saw a bit of regret in her eyes. For whom, I would never know but I had a hunch.

"You guys should probably get going, you're holding up a line." Jimin teased and gestured to the number of guests trying to board the yacht.

I hugged my best friend one more time before heading to the deck with my family. The kids looked over the rail and down at all the guests down at the pier with Jungkook holding them to prevent them from falling.

"Mommy, look it's Uncle Taehyung!" Ji Ae points out to the crowd.

I looked down and spotted Taehyung getting out of his car. My eyes shot up when I saw the passenger door open and Jennie got out of the car. The two of them lined up to get onto the yacht together and I shared a look with Jungkook.

"Do you know if there is something going on between Taehyung and Jennie?" I asked him and turned back to the unsuspected couple. The two of them were casually talking and Taehyung laughed at something Jennie said.

"If there was then he never said anything to me." Jungkook reeled Ji Ae back when she leaned forward too much and half her body almost hung off the boat. "Ae, I know you're excited to see them but you're going to get hurt."

"But daddy." Ji Ae whined.

"Continue to do something dangerous and you'll be stuck inside the yacht." He scolded her and she pouted, leaning back safely behind the rails.

"You're finally getting a hang of parenting." I smuggly commented, watching him wrangle our children. "If you ever feel like giving up, just let me know."

After the incident, Jungkook felt guilty for leaving the kids alone and not parenting them better. So I came up with a deal. Jungkook would look after Ji Ae and Jihyun alone until he couldn't handle it anymore. And I had to give it to him. It has been nearly two weeks and Jungkook has cooked, cleaned, and took them to school on his own. In the meantime, I have been chilling in the sidelines for a disaster to play out and for Jungkook to tap out.

"It's amazing how you did it for seven years by yourself." Taking care of the kids alone had really started to take a toll on Jungkook. He was starting to look haggard and the night had only just started. But no matter how many times I've asked him if he wanted help, his pride stops him.

A few kids approached Ji Ae and Jihyun asking if they wanted to hang out and they accepted after getting a nod from us.

"Jihyun, make sure you watch out for your sister." I warned him. I didn't need a repeat of the company party where the kids made fun of Ji Ae. Luckily, they didn't seem like the same kids and the rest of the group didn't mind the new additions.

I could feel the yacht undock and soon we were sailing away from the city.

"There you guys are." Taehyung walked through the crowd with Jennie right behind him. "I thought that you guys would have already left because the twins tired Jungkook out."

"As if he would go home during Jimin's engagement party." I placed a hand on Jungkook and leaned against him. "Plus I'm also here to support him." I eyed Jennie beside Taehyung. "You aren't going to introduce us to your date?"

"We're just here as friends." Taehyung answered a little too quickly. I raised my eyebrows at Taehyung's flusteredness and in the corner of my eye, I saw Jennie look down at the ground.

"What's going on here?" Jimin and Rose joined us and I smiled.

"Perfect timing." I let go of Jungkook and looped my arms with Jennie's and Rose. "You three can have bro time and we'll have some girl time."

"Wait, what?" Jimin looked confused as I dragged his fiance and Jennie away from the guys. We went over to the opposite side of the yacht and grabbed a glass of wine for each of us.

"What is going on?" Rose laughed. "Why are you acting weird all the sudden?"

"Jennie, are you seeing Taehyung?" I asked straightforwardly, setting my glass down as quickly as I grabbed it and crossed my arms.

"What? No!" Jennie blushed and shook her head. "Like he said... We're just friends."

It didn't take long for everything to click in Rose's head. "I can't believe he hasn't asked you out yet! You're so pretty and you're a doctor!" Rose sighed and took a sip of her wine. "Why are our men so blind that they can't see what's right in front of them?"

"But it is also very much like Taehyung to act like that." I glanced back and way behind the crowd of guests, I could see the three men in question. "You just need to make the first move."

"I've made a bunch of moves and none that he reciprocated." Jennie drawls. "Maybe he's just sending mixed messages and we're better off being friends."

"No, he's definitely into you." Rose and I deadpanned at the same time.

"The way he quickly said you were friends wasn't natural." I pointed out. "He was flustered and in the denial phase of his feelings."

"Oh, and I saw the way he held her hand and the other on her waist to make sure she wouldn't trip on the stairs. They were so close and he was watching her so attentively." Rose added.

"You really think so?" Jennie scrunched her face in a cute way.

Rose placed her hand on her hip and frowned. "But how do we get Taehyung to make the first move?"

"How about doing a couple's dance with Jimin?" I suggested. "Everyone will naturally join, I'll even get Jungkook to encourage him."

"I appreciate what you're doing for me but-" Jennie tried to protest but Rose and I were already dragging her back to the men.

When we approached them, the three of them were in a pretty heated conversation of their own. It was a two versus one with Jimin and Jungkook against Taehyung who had a doubtful look on his face.

"Stay here." I told the girls and walked up to them.

"Just ask her! She wouldn't have agreed to come as your date if she didn't like you." Jimin urged. "Ask her and confess during the dance."

"What's going on?" I raised my eyebrows at them. It seemed like the boys had the same idea as Rose and I in getting them closer and a couple's dance was the best way to do so.

"Y/N, make Taehyung agree to ask Jennie for a dance." Jungkook cocked his head at Taehyung. "At this point you're the only person he'll listen to."

"I know you're probably scared to ask Jennie out, but I know for a fact that she won't say no." I placed a hand on Taehyung's arm. "Don't let fear of rejection stop you. You knew that things were complicated with Jungkook and I, yet you still confessed to me."

"Wait who and what now?" Jimin's eyes bulged out because this was the first time he was hearing about this.

Jungkook's eyes darkened at the memory of the night I went to Taehyung's apartment. I had technically implied I was heading to Taehyung's place to get him jealous, but Taehyung called me later about the embezzlement and I ended up going. I rubbed his back and kissed his cheek to calm him down.

"You're right." Taehyung nods his head. "I'll ask her."

"Great! I'll go make a quick announcement about the first dance with Rose and you make your move." Jimin gave his best friend a pat on the back and went to find his fiance.

"Don't chicken out." I jabbed Taehyung in the chest with my finger. "You'll regret it if you do and if you don't then I'll make you regret it."

On a mini stage, Jimin and Rose thanked everyone for being at their engagement party and that they would start things off with a couple's dance.

The two of them danced together in the middle of the deck with all the guests surrounding them. After the first song was over, the rest of the couples joined them.

Jungkook held his hand out for me and I gladly accepted it. He led the dance and despite wanting to keep an eye on Taehyung, I couldn't take my eyes off Jungkook.

"How many times have you danced like this with Sana?" I questioned like a jealous girlfriend, or fiance now, and Jungkook groaned.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Only one time and that was when we were first introduced to each other by our families." Jungkook pulled me closer by the waist. "You're the only partner I'll have for the rest of my life."

"If only Taehyung could have your way of sweet talking." I glanced at Taehyung and Jennie. Taehyung went up to her after a bit of hesitation and when he held his hand out, she accepted it. The smiles on both of their faces were radiant. "At least he makes up for it with his looks."

"Are you saying I lack looks?" Jungkook looked offended.

"Well..." I drew out and laughed when he started pulling back. "You're handsome, but what I love about you isn't your looks."

Jungkook kissed me briefly just as the song ended, then he pulled me out of the group of dancers. We went inside the yacht and he pressed me against the wall. I smiled against his lips when he kissed me again and this time for much longer.

A crunching noise came from my right and we looked to the side. Jihyun and Ji Ae were both sitting on a couch eating nachos they got from who knows where. Both of their eyes were on us. Jihyun was trying to shield Ji Ae's eyes, but she kept on pushing his hand away.

"How long have you two been there?" Jungkook cleared his throat, but did not step away.

"We were always here." Jihyun answered. "Even when you came in."

"What about the other children?" I would've been horrified if the other kids that the twins were playing with saw us.

"We got bored. We left them and found this!" Ji Ae lifted the nacho bowl. "I think we found it in the kitchen. There was so much food!"

"How are you enjoying the party?" I gently pushed Jungkook aside and sat next to my children.

"It's more fun with mommy and daddy, but you were busy dancing and we didn't know how to." Jihyun had a slight frown on his face.

"Then how about we teach you how to dance?" I suggested. "That way you can spend time with us."

It was also good to check up on how Taehyung and Jennie's progress was. The kids enthusiastically nodded and we brought them back out onto the deck.

Jimin and Rose had stopped dancing a while ago, but Taehyung and Jennie were twirling around like there was no one but them. I couldn't believe that they were not dating yet with the chemistry they had.

"I want to dance with daddy!" Ji Ae bounced on her feet and Jungkook lifted her up into her arms. Jungkook started dancing around with one hand holding Ji Ae's and the other keeping her carried.

"Would you like to dance?" Jihyun held out his hand with a smile on his face and I gladly accepted it.

"Of course." I couldn't hold Jihyun up without tripping with my heels so I held both of his hands and guided him through the steps.

In the crowd, I could see Jimin taking photos of Jungkook and I dancing with our kids. There was no doubt that I was going to ask him to send those to me later.

The night went on and everyone had taken breaks in between dancing. One inseparable pair though was Taehyung and Jennie. The two of them continued to talk on their own instead of joining the rest of us.

The yacht was nearing the dock again and Jimin and Rose announced that it was going to be the last dance.

"Do you mind if I steal your partner?" Jungkook tapped Jihyun's shoulder and placed Ji Ae on the ground. The twins went off dancing together and Jungkook took Jihyun's place. "So, I was thinking about a couple of things this past month."

"Oh? Tell me what's on your mind." I raised an eyebrow up.

"How do you feel about your parents living with us?" Jungkook's tone was uncertain with how I would react to this news. "Your dad is in remission and finally healthy enough to go home. I think he'll recover better around his family, and they can watch the kids when we're not home."

I didn't even need to think twice about it before answering, "I think I would love that. My relationship with my dad has improved a lot. I realized that I might've been too harsh on him the past couple of years. I want to make up for it." I paused. "Just keep your good alcohol hidden."

Jungkook laughed and nodded his head. He opened his mouth to continue, but something caught his eye.

"I think your job as a wingwoman is finally paying off." Jungkook jerks his head over to where Taehyung led Jennie to a quieter place on the deck.

They exchanged a few words and Taehyung made the first move by grabbing Jennie's hand. She stared at him speechless then he kissed her. I let out a short squeal of excitement when she clutched onto his clothes and pulled him closer. I was extremely happy for the two of them.

"Everyone found their happily ever after." I rested my head against Jungkook's chest as we swayed to the music. "What else were you going to say?"

"Well... Normally a fairytale gets their happily ever after when the prince and princess get married." Jungkook purred. He lifted my left hand up and played with the engagement ring he got me. "I was thinking, we should get married in June."

"Wasn't that around the time we first met?" My eyes widened in realization.

"The second time." Jungkook corrected me. "And I think you would make a beautiful summer bride."

"Well I was thinking we should push the date up a bit." I bit my lip. "I think I can be a pretty winter bride as well."

"So soon?" Jungkook frowned. "It's November."

"Well." I ran my fingers through his hair and looked into his eyes. "From my last experience of almost getting married, I need to be married quick before I start to show. I hate having to make so many alterations on my dress."

Jungkook's eyes immediately dropped down to my waist then they flicked back up to me.  His was face glowing from excitement and awe. "How far along are you?"

"Apparently 3 months." I couldn't contain my smile. "I think it was when we went to Busan for Hyun and Ae's birthday."

"Then we better start planning the minute we get home." Jungkook pressed his forehead against mine then dropped down onto his knees. Everyone around us stopped and gasped as they looked our way. Jungkook kissed my stomach and rested his head there. "And this time I'll be here from start to finish. You'll never be alone again."
