Y/N

Even if I was no longer fazed by articles written about me and Jungkook, it didn't mean that others weren't.

On the way to the practice studio, I could see a crowd of people standing outside of the company protesting. I leaned against the floor to ceiling window and read the signs they held.

'Bitches don't have room in the entertainment industry'
'Prostitutes should return to warming beds'
'Sluts should leave happy couples alone'

"Wow, what a big crowd who wants you gone." I looked over my shoulder and saw Sana smiling. "Finally people agree with me."

"This is considered defamation." I told her and looked back out the window. Security was already working on getting rid of the protestors. "The company will sue them. If they reveal that there was someone behind all this," I fully turned around to face Sana then walked up right in her face. "What do you think will happen?"

"You have no proof that this is me." Sana inched backwards, slight hesitation in her voice.

Sana was right for once. I did have no proof that this whole thing was arranged by her, but it had her $150 Chanel No.5 perfume all over it. The photographers? The protestors? I just wanted to know how she does it.

"I'll tell you one more time, just as I told your friends." I stood tall and took another step forward making her take another step back. "I'm the mother of Jungkook's children. Jungkook will do anything for them. If I am like you say I am -Jungkook's mistress- then shouldn't you be worried about yourself once he finds out who's behind all this?"

Never once have I feared Sana, instead I just found her bitchy. Looking at her now after everything she put me through, she was nothing but a weak woman trying to protect something that she thought belonged to her. Even though it was never her's.

Footsteps were heard coming down the hallway and Sana allowed herself to fall to the floor clutching her stomach.

"Ow! Ow! My stomach!" Sana fake cries. "My stomach hurts!"

I looked up to see who walked down the hall and it was only Taehyung. Sana's back was faced towards him as she continued to act.

"Y/N how could you push me?" She yells. "I have nothing to do with those protestors down there!" Sana wipes her fake tears and Taehyung stops in the middle of the hallway staring at the scene in front of him with amusement in his eyes. "I don't think you're a prostitute like they say you are, but please just stay away from my Jungkook. He's made more scandals than he ever has in his career because of your clinginess."

"Oh, that's what you would really like to happen wouldn't you?" I laughed. "That would make your life so much easier." I leaned down. "No one is here to help you Sana."

I looked past her shoulder and she looked behind her. Taehyung waves at her then puts his hands back in his pocket. "Y/N, why are you wasting your time on her? You should be practicing for your runway."

"I'll be there in a minute." I told him, then directed my focus back onto Sana. "Have you ever been on a runway? I bet you haven't. Your modelling career didn't launch off so you mooch off your fiance who wants nothing to do with you and wants to get rid of you."

"Take that back you fat cow!" She barks after me. "I'm just too superior to do something as low as modelling!"

Taehyung had a proud smile on his face, but it didn't reach his eyes like it normally would. Looks like our conversation in the elevator affected him a lot.

"Do you think that I'm turning into Sana or a mean girl?" I asked once I reached him.

"I may be biased but you? Never." Taehyung puts his arm around my shoulder. "Let's get back to work, shall we?"

Jungkook

"Secretary Moon!" I called him into my office after he sent the interviewer away.

My secretary, Jaesuk, pops his head into my office. "Yes, sir?"

"Tell the president of Star Magazine to fire that employee or that they are blacklisted from our company." I loosened my tie and sunk into my chair. "And lock the door on your way out. I don't want to be distrubed."

I had let the interviewer get an exclusive interview of what actually happened last night, but it was not an invitation to ask more questions about Y/N's and my relationship.

Are we still even in a relationship? She doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with me unless it involves the kids. And me... What do I want? I still haven't figured out the answer.

I have always told myself that I love her, but if I truly love her then why the hell did I hesitate that day we were on the hospital roof?

I have searched and thought of her non-stop for seven years. But was it because I loved her or because I wanted to get to know the girl who gave me one night of happiness. Is it even possible for someone to fall in love in one night?

"Jungkook, have you realized how unhappy I've been? How much I doubt our love?"

I sighed and rubbed my face. If I truly love her, then I would've seen the change within her. Work and Sana are no excuse. I wanted to kill myself for being so unsure.

Everything would've been simple if I just loved all three of them.

Was that where everything went wrong? Because I wanted simplicity and went blind to my actual feelings?

"Jungkook!" I opened my eyes and Sana darted through the door. I did not need to deal with her right now.

"How did you get in?" I sat up straight and glared at her. "The door should've been locked and I told Secretary Moon not to let anyone in."

"Well the door was unlocked and your secretary isn't at his desk." Sana walks into my office and sits on top of my desk. I was going to need to have a talk with him to make sure that this doesn't happen again. "And I'm your fiance pregnant with your kids, who dares to stop me?"

The kids, Y/N, Taehyung, Jimin, and Avery might.

My eyes drift to Sana's stomach. She was still in her third month. A few weeks too early to start showing, but the ultrasound doesn't lie. Although the paternity test was proof, I still couldn't believe it until that day three weeks ago.

Two fetuses the size of a fig appeared on the screen and it took my breath away. Sana was actually carrying twins whether they were truly mine or not. It caused my chest to flutter.

Jihyun and Ji Ae were that small once. Y/N had gone through that experience with Jimin before, at least in the first trimester and a half. Then she experienced the most important parts all on her own.

If I was there for her then how would it have gone?

"Jungkook?" Sana braced a hand on the desk and leaned towards me. I pushed my chair back and glared at her. "What the hell, I was talking about our wedding plans. Were you not listening to me?"

"The wedding is not yet confirmed." I bit out. "Even if there was a wedding, it wouldn't be grand. I'll just take you to the governor's office to sign the fucking papers and that's it. If your parents want a wedding then they'll get one out of their own expenses."

"But our babies Jungkook." Sana pouts and puts her hand on her stomach. "We got to take wedding photos for our kids to look back on in the future."

"Get out of my office." I ordered her.

"I will get the wedding of my dreams and you will be mine, Jungkook." Sana tips my chin up with her finger and I slapped her hand away. She smiles and leans back. "That bitch and her spawns will not stand in my way. As long as I have these stupid babies and those tests, you will not escape me."

"Only until the babies grow up to not look like me." I snapped back. "Then I'll make your fucking Minatozaki group fall."

"But by then it will already be too late." She places a finger on her lips then pulls out her phone. "Y/N and her kids would have moved on, and maybe with someone closer than you think."

She slid her phone towards me and I skeptically stared at her before I grabbed it.

There were pictures of Y/N and Taehyung together over the past few months. In all the pictures they both looked so close, and I could see the way he looked at her. The way he still looks at her. Like she was the only joy in his world.

There were also pictures of Taehyung and my children. Sana had once said that Taehyung looked like their father. I could see it. Taehyung always loved kids. He treats them well.

If Y/N ever tries to find happiness with someone else I would want it to be with Taehyung. At least then I know that she would have someone she can rely on and take care of them.

A pain sprouted in my chest.

But that's not what I wanted. I wanted them to rely on me. I would rather have them independent than rely on any other man.

God this is what Jimin felt.

"Do you still think she loves you Jungkook?" Sana walked around my desk and stood behind me as I scrolled through the pictures. More and more of them are recent and with some sort of skin contact. "Even after seeing these pictures? She gave up on Jimin, why wouldn't she give up on you?"

My breaths quickened.

"And then the two of them go to New York in two and a half weeks." She leans down and whispers. "What do you think will happen? The two of them alone in a hotel room. Celebrating her first runway. Kind of reminds you of something, but happier don't you think?"

"GET OUT OF MY OFFICE!" I yelled at her once more and she grabbed her phone out of my hand.

I stood up bracing my hands on the edge of my desk, heavily panting. Sana smirks and saunters out of the office knowing that she won.

If Y/N slips away then the kids would naturally follow. I bent down on my desk and put my head in my hands.

I can't. I can't lose them. I just need to get rid of Sana and tell Y/N I love you.

I grabbed my phone off my desk and left my office. Y/N and Taehyung should be in the studio's below. I just had to say it now.

I stepped into the elevator and pulled my phone out to call Jennie.

"Hello, Dr. Kim speaking." Jennie picked up after a few rings.

"This is Jungkook. It's been more than two weeks, where are those tests?"

Y/N had told me that Jennie was willing to do another paternity test on me and Sana's babies. I know that she was given the ok, but what was taking so long? I should have received it days ago.

"There is a slight issue." She says and I could hear a doctor telling in the background to get out of the way. "The blood samples that we have collected from Sana have been contaminated and cannot be used. If you want me to conduct a test then I will need another sample of her blood."

"I need the results soon. How the hell can I get her blood?" I raised my voice. Luckily there was no one in the elevator with me.

"That is not my concern." She answers, "But her next appointment is in two weeks. We'll need to check on the babies and mother's health." The elevator stopped on the floor and I walked out. "We may or may not need blood samples to consider if a change is necessary in Sana's diet. Can you wait two weeks?"

"Yes." I breathed out and checked the studio's for Y/N. "And get them done as soon as possible."

"Oh and while you're on the phone, I have a question." Jennie goes on, but I stopped listening to what she said.

I saw Y/N's hair whip back as she made a turn at the end of a line. I walked towards the door and looked inside.

Taehyung was scolding her for something and I could see the restraint of not snapping back rolling off of her.

When she finished her walk I thought it was the perfect time to step in, but Taehyung walks towards her and grabs her shoulders to straighten them.

"I told you to keep them straight!" He scowls, his hands still on her shoulders.

"I'm trying!" Y/N whines.

I tighten my grip on my phone. "Jungkook?"

"Huh? Yes?" I cleared my throat, remembering that Jennie was on the other line.

"I was asking you about Y/N's father. His condition has gotten better and his tumor has shrunk. We scheduled the his surgery to be next week. I assume that you're the one paying for the operation?"

"Yes." I sigh. "Just charge me for it with everything else."

"You know." Jennie chuckles. "Sometimes I don't understand Y/N. You do everything for her without her knowledge and don't expect a thing. It makes me wonder if she's dumb." There was a slight pause. "But then I do understand. None of this would've happened if you just kept everything in your pants. She's just protecting herself and what she loves. If I were her, I wouldn't have given you a second chance."

"So why are you still in love with Taehyung?" I fired right back at her.

Taehyung and Jennie only met a few times and only went on one date. I'm not sure if it's at the point where she can say she loves him, but she definitely has some sort of positive feeling towards him.

"That's a good reason. He doesn't like me so why do I like him?" She says more to herself. "Love is a funny thing that we can't control. Do we need a reason? If we love someone, you'll just know it. I need to go. There's an emergency."

"Thank you." I told her.

I hung up the phone and realized that Y/N and Taehyung were both staring at me through the glass pane.

I cleared my throat and walked inside. "How is practice going? Is she ready for the runway?"

"If only she can learn how to square her shoulders." Taehyung sends her a look.

"I'm sorry I hunch my shoulders like an old granny!" Y/N snaps at him and the two of them laugh.

I was an unwanted figure in this conversation.

"Can I speak with Y/N?"

Her laughter dies down and she solemnly nods. "Sure, we were on our break anyway."

"The finance department should've sent over last month's statement. I'll go look it over." Taehyung excused himself and left the studio.

I looked at Y/N and she was wearing a tight black t-shirt and leggings. Her hair tied up in a ponytail and I could see the hairs on her arm stand because of the air conditioning.

"Did you want to talk about that interview?" She curiously asks.

I had seen her peeking through my office door during the interview. I had known that Taehyung brought her there because I was the one who allowed it.

"Did you hear the last part of the interview?"

"The part where she calls me a mistress?" She laughs. "I'm used to it."

I knit my eyebrows together. The last time I remembered, Y/N was still uncomfortable about being called a mistress and would fight back. But now she dismissed it like the kids were trying to ask her to buy ice cream.

Guilt sprang in my chest. I really haven't noticed her change at all. I know it would be impossible to stop it all, but if I had known people still called her a mistress then I would have shut them down.

Just how many people did I ignore for her not to be angry about this?

"Y/N. I'm tired of not being there for you and not knowing what goes on in your life." I told her. Ok Jungkook, you can do this. "I hate what is going on between us. I want us to be together not only for the sake of the kids but because I miss you."

Y/N regards me for a moment then stares at my shoes. "I told you that we should take a break to find ourselves and take care of our own problems."

"I can't think clearly if you're not by my side. I can't lose you or the kids. I need you both by my side."

She looks up at me. I can still see the love in her eyes, but she wasn't willing to give it up just yet.

"Then do you love me or the kids?"

"I love both of you." I answered easily.

Y/N bitterly smiles and looks away.

"I don't think you understand what I mean Jungkook and I don't think I can be with you until you do." She lets out a breath and looks at me one more time. "I love you, but what is your answer?"

He needs them. She loves him.

He loves them, but that's not what she wants... 🤔
