Y/N

When we returned to the company, it was hectic. With so many collaborations and partnerships going around everyone had their hands full.

I flew past my emails and made calls to companies, booking appointments, making cancellations, and checking up on the other departments.

I visited Jungkook's office for the nth time that day and gave him another document to read and sign.

"I hate summer." Jungkook rubs his temples and adds the document to the pile. "This is the worst one yet."

"You'll do fine, you always do." I walked around his chair and massaged his shoulders.

He groans and starts to relax a bit. "You're amazing."

"Thanks, I get that a lot." I smile and he gives me an annoyed look before continuing to work. "Is it always this busy during the summer?"

"It's like this at the beginning of each season."

"Then in that case can I hand in my resignation letter now?"

"Even if you handed it in I won't accept it, you're by far the best secretary I've ever had. I think I would still be stuck on last weeks work if it weren't for you." Jungkook opens his mouth to say something else but there was a knock on the door. I hurried around the desk to stand like an obedient secretary and Jungkook tells them to come in.

"Jungkook." Mrs. Jeon walks in with a smile.

"Aunty, what are you doing here?" Jungkook stood from his seat and Mrs. Jeon takes notice of me.

"Nice to see you again secretary Kim."

"You as well Mrs. Jeon." I glanced at Jungkook and smiled. "I'll take my leave."

"No, actually stay." Mrs. Jeon stops me. "I wanted to talk to the both of you."

Jungkook and I share a quick glance and I gulped.

"What do you want to talk about with my secretary and I?" Jungkook leans back against his chair.

"I have heard about certain rumors going around the company." She eyes the two of us. She knew... The least she would do is kick me out of the company, and the worst is that Jungkook and I are both dead.

"Those rumors have been excused, I told the staff not to talk about it." Jungkook waved his hand to try and dismiss the topic. I saw the uncertainty in his eyes of how well his aunt might take the rumors.

"Yes, but I want to hear it from your mouths." She says sternly. "Are the rumors true?" I tried to look at Jungkook but Mrs. Jeon caught that look and turns to me. "Secretary Kim?"

"I uh... The rumors are-" I stuttered not knowing what to say. Like what could I have said? Yea, they're our children that are a byproduct of a one night stand? If I confessed then she would get mad, but if I lie then it'll hurt Jungkook's feelings.

"True." Jungkook answers for me and my lips parted. "Y/N's kids are my kids. That means you have a great niece and nephew." Jungkook stands from his desk and puts an arm on my waist. "And I love her."

"Jungkook." Mrs. Jeon narrows her eyes at him and I could feel Jungkook's grip on my waist tighten. "You are aware that you are engaged don't you?"

"Yes."

"And you are aware that there are rumors that Sana is pregnant as well."

"People are saying that Sana's pregnant?" I gasped and her attention turns to me.

"Yes. During your trip to Japan, Sana was seen wearing large sweaters, something she never wears. People think it's the possible that she's trying to hide a baby bump."

My heart sunk. That was exactly what I had done to try and hide my pregnancy from others. Of course it may just be a speculation and Sana just trying to start up drama but I felt unsettled.

"It's impossible to have a bump, it hasn't even been a month." Jungkook argues. "Sana's just starting rumors that she's pregnant so people will expect more from us."

Mrs. Jeon gives Jungkook a long hard stare. "And what are you going to do?"

"Excuse me?"

"What are you going to do if the rumors are false like you say and Sana is just trying to cause drama."

"Then there's no need for me to marry her. We don't need Minatozaki group, they need us." Jungkook's voices turns serious, like the ones he uses during a negotiation. "This marriage was settled before their downfall by you, but I was still only a child. I'm an adult now, can't I make my own decisions? I don't want to marry her, I want to marry Y/N. If it's money that they want then I can give them money, I will not abandon my kids again."

Mrs. Jeon's eyes soften as she stares at her nephew.

"You are much like your father, compassionate and warmhearted. He handed the company over to your uncle for your mother, but he had no responsibility and only thinks with his heart." Mrs. Jeon goes to take a seat and sighs. "He didn't know what giving up the company meant, he didn't know how much things would have changed. Do you know why people were against your uncle taking over the company?"

"Because uncle is father's half brother." Jungkook grits his teeth.

"Exactly. Do you think that people will accept your secretary and your kids after you break your engagement with Sana?" My chest started to feel tight and Mrs. Jeon's eyes were trying to see through me.

"Well uncle made it didn't he? People accepted him because of his achievements. The twins are smart for their age, and Y/N is one of the smartest people I know. I know that in the future they will do more for Silver Boutique than Sana and Minatozaki group can do. What's the difference?"

"The difference is that Sana may be pregnant." Mrs. Jeon says slowly and runs a finger on her armrest. "It'll be your blood, your child from your fiance. If she is pregnant will you abandon that child like you did with your firsts? Let them grow up without their father? For another family? Even if you love them more?"

"I-" Jungkook was speechless. He stares hard at the ground and I take his hand in mine and caress his palm with my thumb.

Mrs. Jeon checks her watch and stands up. "I'm sorry but I have another appointment that I need to get to. Secretary Kim, can you walk me out?"

"Ah... Yes." I gave Jungkook's hand a squeeze and followed Mrs. Jeon out the door. I looked back before closing the door and Jungkook stood in the middle of his office looking lost.

His words reassured my heart, but that look on his face didn't.

We got into the elevator and I pressed the lobby button. We stood in silence for a long time before Mrs. Jeon speaks up. "If Sana is pregnant, are you ready for the possibility of being left again?"

"Not again." I answered stoically and Mrs. Jeon eyed me curiously as I explained. "We were never abandoned in the first place, but... We've lasted six to seven years without him we'll find a way to be alright."

"I like you Secretary Kim, I can tell that you're different from the rest of the girls that Jungkook's had a relationship with." I felt a slight pinch in my chest but the approval of Jungkook's Aunt had washed it all away. "You are the right person for him but is he the right person for you?" I stared at Mrs. Jeon with wide eyes and she had a hard look on her face. "You fell in love twice, you can fall in love again. You know what they say, third times the charm. If Sana is really pregnant, then you and your children will be the ones getting hurt. Your children deserve a father's full attention, not one with another family."

"I don't think I can love another. It's hard to find one's true love, let alone two. How can I let myself find a third when the last two have left me broken?"

"I just don't want you to suffer like I had. If you and Jungkook end up together you'll have to go through many more obstacles to obtain people's acceptance. It wasn't easy, and with two young ones, you have more to worry about."

So she was just looking out for me. I gave her a warm smile. "I learned a thing or two of not having acceptance from my first relationship. I won't break easily this time. I will fight in every way I can to show that I'm capable of being his wife and if it does come to Jungkook leaving me then I'll leave with my head high."

Mrs. Jeon smiles just as the elevator doors open to the lobby. "I have to admit, when I heard you had kids my impressions of you slightly faltered, but I saw that you were a proud and hardworking woman. I'm happy that the kids are Jungkook's, he deserves happiness." She takes a step forward out of the elevator and slightly turns her head back. "I can take care of myself from here, I hope we meet again Y/N."

I rode the elevator back up to the office and I knocked on the door. Jungkook lets me in and he turns around from the windows.

"What did she say to you?"

I shook my head and wrapped my arms around his waist. "I think she likes me but she is worried. She tried to convince me to leave you in case I get hurt."

"What did you say?" I saw the fright in his eyes.

"That I'm not going to back down easily."

Jungkook lets out a breath and presses his forehead against mine. "And neither will I. If Sana does have kids, I'll find a way to take them in. They'll be raised by us and if she wants she can have part custody. I don't want another one of my children raised without a father. I want to be there from the beginning and watch them grow. Will you be ok with that?"

"Of course I would." I let out a light laugh. "Even if they're Sana's kids I would love them like my own. I'm sure the kids would be happy to have another sibling as well, they asked for one in the past."

"Oh?" Jungkook raises an eyebrow with a smirk. "Then I think we found the perfect birthday present for them." He pulls me closer. "If they're willing to wait 9 months."

"And you say that I'm the horny one." I took a step back from his grasp. "Sorry sir but don't you have work to do?"

I point to the pile of papers on the desk and he groans. "I hate paperwork." He takes a seat in his chair and grabs a paper from the top of the pile. He starts working and I stare at him amused. Jungkook's eyes lift to meet mine and he smiles. "And start calling me 'sir.'"

"Only if I feel like it, sir." I grin and left his office.

I walked to my desk and saw Taehyung leaving his office. I wave to him and he waves back. "Just came from Jungkook's office?"

"Yea, there's so much work to do lately."

"I know. It's times like these where I feel like I should quit." Taehyung frowns.

"That's what I said." I laugh. "Oh and the twins birthday are on Saturday. They wanted to go to the beach so we're going to Jungkook's villa in Busan. Will you be able to come?"

"Of course!" Taehyung's eyes widen. "I'm just upset that you hadn't told me that it's their birthday soon, I need lots of time to buy presents you know."

"With the company being so busy I forgot. To be honest with you, I haven't even bought their present yet. I haven't been able to."

"Then want to go together?" He offers. "I'm actually going to a few of our stores to check up on their sales. Most of them being in malls so we can also look for a birthday present there. I'm sure if you convinced Jungkook he'll let you come."

"Really?"

Taehyung nods and I went to my desk to call Jungkook.

"Y/N what do you need?" Jungkook answers.

"Jungkook, you know how the twins birthday are in 5 days?"

"Yea...?" He said tentatively.

"Because you've been making me too busy I haven't had time to buy them a present. Taehyung said that he's going to check up on the stores sales so I was thinking that I could go with him. Learn more about the company and do gift shopping at the same time."

Jungkook sighs over the phone and I could tell that he was reluctant to let me go with so much work on hand.

"Alright. Fine, but come back to the office first. I need you to help me get the kids something too."

"Thank you!" I put the phone down and Taehyung looks at me expectantly. "I need to stop by Jungkook's office first then we're good to go."

"Then I'll get my car and you can meet me in the front."

I nodded and we parted ways. I went into Jungkook's office and he hands me a black card. "Take it and use it to buy the kids presents."

"A black card."

"Is there something wrong?" Jungkook frowns.

"Nothing. It's just expected." I take it and put it in my pocket. "What did you want to get the kids?"

"I want to get them those battery cars. I think it would be interesting to see them drive."

"Jungkook, we live in an apartment. There's not enough room and we would have to take them outside if they want to use them."

"Then you will just have to come to my house more often huh?"

I poked the inside of my cheek and nodded. "Yea, I guess we would have to."

"Perfect."

"But you have burned that bed right?" I reminded him.

"I had it replaced the minute I walked out of that house." Jungkook rubs his temples reminded of that memory.

"Then I'll see when is the next time they're free to go to your house."

I waved to Jungkook and went to the front of the company to meet up with Taehyung. I got into his car and we went to the mall.

"What are you planning on getting the kids?" He asks me.

"Jungkook wants to get them those battery cars so they can drive whenever they want. I was planning on getting them a scrapbook since they both stared modelling and I thought that it would be nice to collect their pictures so they could look back on it later."

"Wow... Now I don't know what to get them." Taehyung frowns.

"It'll come to you when we get there."

A couple minutes later we were at the mall and we went to one of our company's stores. Taehyung talks to the manager and I surveyed the store's condition.

I was looking at some dresses when Taehyung walked up to me. He glanced at the pile of clothes in my arms and chuckled. "Are you interested in buying clothes?"

"Kind of." I sighed. "After the company party it made me realized how little formal dresses I have. I thought that I would upgrade my wardrobe a bit."

"If you're interested in dresses then why are you here? Just get them straight from the company, no one would question you if you just took one."

"I'm taking a dress for free... Don't comment on that I know I have before but that was the only time I will do that." Taehyung shakes his head and looks at the rack and pulls out a navy blue ball gown. I reached out for the fabric and gasped. "It looks like stars in the sky."

"It's from our winter collection, I designed it myself." Taehyung says proudly. "I got the inspiration from going camping last year, it gave me many ideas but so many bug bites."

"Then I have no choice but to get it don't I?" I laughed and reached for it but Taehyung shook his head.

"A gift from me." He motions me to follow him to the register and we pay for everything.

"Even with a discount I'm sure there's a dent in my bank account now." I frowned as we walked around the mall.

"With the salary you have I'll be surprised if it had."

Taehyung stops in front of a Best Buy then walks inside. I quickly follow him and he stops in front of the cameras.

He checks out a few cameras and snaps a few pictures.

"I think Avery got Polaroids for the twins." I suddenly remembered.

"Polaroids are nice but there are different kinds of cameras." Taehyung turns and I was blinded by a sudden flash. "See?"

Taehyung shows me the picture he just took, it was a black and white photo of me looking shocked.

"Delete it right now." I laughed.

"I will." He takes out his phone and takes a picture of the picture. "Now I will."

"Hey!"

"What? You look cute." He says and grabs another camera to test out. "I love taking pictures of you."

I blinked and slowly processed his words. Ok... But when has he ever taken my pictures and why did my heart just flutter?
