Y/N

The dinner party officially started after Jungkook made his speech. I stood by his side the whole time as his date and spoke with the other employees.

Time to time, I would peek over to Taehyung and see him staring at Avery. I wondered when Taehyung started to like Avery and why since she's obsessed with Chan. Not that Avery is bad, she's wonderful.

I excused myself from the conversation and grabbed a champagne flute from a server and went to Avery.

"Where's Chan?" I glanced around but he was no where in sight.

"He went to talk with a few colleagues, what's up?"

"Oh nothing." I casually take a sip of my champagne. "I'm just curious what you think about Taehyung and Jungkook. You said that Jungkook was a tyrant when I first started working but after spending a vacation with him what do you think?"

"Hm? Oh well I mean he's not as bad as I thought." She shrugs. "He obviously cares for you and he's very generous. Taehyung's the same, everyone in the company likes him because he's nice and playful unlike Jungkook."

"That's it?" I cocked an eyebrow. "You only see him as a fun boss?"

"Am I supposed to see him differently?" She eyes me suspiciously and I shook my head and glanced at Taehyung who was staring at the to of us. Avery noticed me staring at Taehyung and she frowns. "What did your dumb ass assume now?"

"What?" I gasped. "I didn't assume anything."

She gave me that look that told me she didn't believe me and I sighed.

"Ok fine." I huffed. "Earlier Taehyung mentioned that he liked a girl but she already had someone and since he keeps looking your way I thought that it may have been you."

Avery gives me a blank stare then she bursts into laughter. "Holy shit, you thought that boss man number 2 was interested in me?" She places a hand on my shoulder and leans against me. "He's looking at me because we made a bet. It was if I could get Chan to kiss me by the end of the night, and yes I know a very stupid bet, but we were drunk last night while you and boss man number 1 were busy in the bedroom."

Part of me was relieved when I found out that Taehyung wasn't interested in Avery, the other part grew red with embarrassment.

"Wha- No- How- Ugh Avery how did you even know that?!"

"Haven't you been fucking every time we return to the hotel?" She said it as if it was nothing and I envied her for being able to say that at a dinner party. "I thought that was the whole point of your trip because I don't know if you've noticed but the sexual tension between you and Jungkook for the past 4 days has been enough to send you beyond hell. It's so awkward to be around both of you sometimes."

I couldn't help but gaze over my shoulder to Jungkook and he was already staring back at me, more specifically on my exposed back.

"Fuck you're right."

"Well I don't blame you." She giggles and takes a sip of her champagne. "Hot boyfriend, a presidential suite, in a foreign country where no one can recognize you, and the best thing? No children."

"I'm not sure that would be the best thing." I argued. "I mean I miss the children and I would like them to have fun with us."

"Yes but in terms of sex would you want them to listen to their parents doing it dirty?" My mouth opens to say something but I shut it and Avery peers over my shoulder. "Oh, there's Chan. Now excuse me but I have a bet to win."

Avery heads to where Chan was seen returning to the party and talking with a few friends. My eyes survey the party and I saw Taehyung. Taehyung's eyes follow Avery until she engages into a conversation with Chan then they meet mine. He smiles and approaches me.

"That conversation looked frustrating." Taehyung laughed and I nodded, feeling drained. "Did she tell you about the bet?"

"Why would you even bet things like that?" I shook my head. "Even though there is a benefit... I guess for Avery, it's not something that should be taken lightly and turned into a bet."

"So you think that it was a bad decision?" Taehyung rubs his chin. "But Avery was ok with it."

"Well maybe she may be but Chan won't." I crossed my arms. "If Chan heard about that then won't he think that Avery is just trying to get close to him because of a bet? Not that she actually likes him?"

Taehyung thought about it and frowned. "Well you have a point."

"And this, is our vice president Taehyung and my secretary Y/N." Jungkook walks towards us with a old looking couple and I automatically knew who they were.

"Y/N, this is Mr. and Mrs. Minatozaki... My future in laws." Jungkook grits his teeth at the last words but the couple doesn't notice.

"We've heard many things about both of you from Sana." Mrs. Minatozaki narrows her eyes at me like she hoped to kill me with a stare.

"Bad things I hope." I smiled and she forces out a laugh.

"Humorous too." Mr. Minatozaki grits out.

"What a... lovely dress." Sana's mother stares at my dress that matched with Jungkook's.

"Why thank you." I did a few small poses for her to get a better look at it. "We thought that since I was Mr. Jeon's date we should match. Isn't that right?"

I looked to Jungkook and he nods with a smile. Jungkook gives Taehyung a look and Taehyung excuses himself from the group. "Now, you obviously didn't come here because you wanted to enjoy a small company dinner. Shall we talk privately? Y/N, lead us the way please."

I walked them to a smaller banquet room connected to the one that we were using and held the door for them. Jungkook's hand squeezes mine as he passes and I closed the door.

"Why is she still here?" Mrs. Minatozaki frowns at me and I did my best to put on a polite smile.

"Y/N is my secretary, she's entitled to know my business transactions." Jungkook pauses for a moment and feigns confusion. "That is what you're here right? You wanted to talk out the deal you mentioned on our last dinner together. This is a company dinner after all, it would be awkward to talk about personal affairs."

Sana's parents glance at each other unsure of how to approach the topic and I hung out behind Jungkook, waiting.

"Jungkook, I'm sure you've seen the tabloids." Sana's father says.

"Tabloids? I'm not a huge fan of reading those." Jungkook shrugs looking disinterested. I could see the couple starting to panic since if Jungkook wasn't interested then they won't have another chance to talk like this before we leave.

"After the tabloid, people are starting to expect a child soon and it's shameful to have a child before marriage."

I wasn't sure if that was an indirect assault to me or if he just didn't realize it, but Jungkook didn't miss a single word that came from his mouth.

"Maybe in the eyes of an old person, but eras are changing and the way people perceive things are also changing." Jungkook says coldly. "There is nothing wrong with being a parent before marriage, there is nothing to be ashamed of." Jungkook's hand reaches out for mine and he squeezed it. "Some people may want a child but not marriage. There are many cases of sexual assault these days that lead to children before marriage. I think that you should be careful of the things you say in front of me Mr. Minatozaki."

The man gulps and tries to reason with Jungkook, but Jungkook wasn't having it.

"And it is only if Sana is pregnant." Jungkook stares down at them. "There is no proof that Sana is currently pregnant So. There. Is No. Need. To Think. About. The Wedding. Let's go Y/N. They are bringing down the mood and I need something stronger than champagne." Jungkook pulls me out of the room and to the bar.

"Is it alright to talk to them like that?"

"It's not like they can do anything against me however." Jungkook takes a sip from his whiskey. "And they shouldn't have said that."

"I know you feel upset by that, but if you talk like that then they'll know that the rumors are true."

"Is that so bad?" Jungkook turns to me and tilted my head. "That people know that the twins are mine? They are the two most proudest things that I could have ever done. If it weren't for the engagement I would've already let the whole world know they're mine."

I glanced around to see if there was anyone looking and I hugged him.

"They're the best kids anyone can ask for and I can't even say that they're mine."

"We'll get there." I stroked his head. "One day we'll live together, you can take them to school, we can go out as a family, but be patient because if it gets out now that they're yours... I don't want them to be the center of attention and have reporters following them everywhere. It'll put them in danger."

"You're right." Jungkook exhales and hugs me back. "If it was confirmed and Sana found out then she'll probably do something crazy."

"Please don't jinx them." I groaned and he finally laughs.

"I'm sorry." He lets go and puts his empty glass on the counter. "Come on, we should enjoy our last night."

Jungkook takes me onto the dance floor and puts his hands on my waist while I wrap my arms around him. It wasn't awkward since there were many others dancing together.

We danced by Chan and Avery, Avery had her head resting on Chan's shoulder. When she spots me she starts fanning herself  and mouthing 'oh my god' and I couldn't contain my laugh.

"Those two seem to be getting a long with each other." Jungkook smirks. "And your friend is very... special."

"She wasn't always like this but I like the change." I rested my head on Jungkook's shoulders and we danced slowly to the beat. "Tomorrow we go back to Korea."

"You upset?"

"Obviously." I grumbled. "But it was fun while it lasted. Once we go back home, we have to deal with Sana, work, the kids and their birthday..."

"Wait what?" Jungkook pulls away just enough to see my face.

"The kids birthday." I say then it suddenly dawned on me. "Oh shit, the kids birthdays are next week, I nearly forgot."

"Next week?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "That would make sense, but their birthday is just 2 weeks before mine?"

"Your birthday is soon too?" My jaws dropped. "That's a coincidence, so are you going to throw another party for your birthday?"

"Yes it is expected of me." Jungkook looked as if he rather jump into a pit of fire than host another party. "But that's enough about what we do after tomorrow, we still have until tomorrow evening. Let's just enjoy the night."

"I think I have just the thing in mind." A smile creeps onto my lips. Jungkook looked worried when I dragged him out of the banquet and the hotel.

"Where are we going? We're still dressed in formal wear."

"Exactly." I looked back for a second and continued running. "We'll be two lovers running around in the city night, pretending that the rest of the world doesn't exist."

"That sounds a little corny."

"But you aren't a little interested?"

Jungkook's smile met mine. "Let's do it."
