Y/N

"Since it's summer, kids are on break. Teens want to hang out with their friends, go to the beach. The little ones wanna play around and get muddy. Although some parents pick outfits for their kids, it's the kids who have the final say."

I sat there listening to the marketing department do their explanation. I took notes down and every once in a while I see three people glance at me. Jungkook. Taehyung. Avery.

Jungkook had his eyes trained on me the whole meeting, he looked as if he wanted to say something but I would always break contact the second it was made.

Avery wouldn't stop laughing after that I told her 10 minutes earlier. Whenever we make eye contact she stifles her laughter, the people sitting next to her eye her weirdly.

Taehyung was the only normal one and either gives me a sympathetic look or a small smile which I was grateful for. At least he wasn't like the other two who made me want to run and hide in my closet.

After the meeting was over, I walked out of the room and Taehyung follows.

"What happened yesterday? No one is telling me anything. Most importantly are you ok?" Taehyung says walking beside me. I review my notes with a sigh.

"Why is everyone asking me that? I'm fine though Tae."

"Tae?" He tilts his head with a smile.

"Ah, sorry." I blushed.

"No that's fine, and I'm glad you're ok but Jungkook has been acting pretty weird since this morning."

"Really?" I say sarcastically.

"If anyone's bullying you don't be afraid to come to me, I'm just a call away." He smiles and I return it.

"Thanks Taehyung." I sit at my desk and he goes back to his office.

I started typing a report about the main points of the meeting when I saw Jungkook walking out from the meeting room and towards my desk. I internally swore because I had no where to run and smiled at him.

"What do you need Mr. Jeon?"

"About yesterday." Jungkook frowns. "I didn't mean it, of course I'm happy you chose to keep the kids. I was just angry and said things I shouldn't have."

"You don't understand what I had to go through because of the pregnancy." I tapped my finger against the desk trying to figure out what to say. "I um... Ji Ae wants to see you tomorrow." Jungkook looked shocked. "She doesn't know."

"Oh." Jungkook sulks and I saw the clear resemblance of my boss and my son.

"Are you free tomorrow or...?"

"I'm free." Jungkook nods. "Do you want me to pick you up?"

"Sure." I bit my lip and at the now awkward silence between us.

Jungkook clears his throat and shifts on his foot. "Finish that report and I need you to order me some lunch."

"Alright." I nodded and Jungkook stood there for a few awkward seconds before heading to his office.

When Jungkook disappeared into his office I let out a long sigh. I push my hair back and rest my head in my hands. That was the most awkwardest moment of my life, I didn't expect to ever talk with my baby daddy like this.

I finished typing the report and went to the printer room. A few workers were standing by idling, they all became silent when I walked in. Although they stared, none of them said a word. They were all scared of being fired.

When the papers finished printing I grabbed them and left without saying a word. I could hear the workers sigh and talk.

"Mistress."

"I wish I can see her throw wine at President Jeon's fiancee again."

"How can she just act like nothing happened?"

"She's so shameless."

Too scared to say it to my face but not to my back? I stapled the papers together and put them in a folder then went to Jungkook's office. Jungkook doesn't look up from his work and I left the papers on his stack.

"Mr. Jeon for your lunch is there anything specific that you would like to eat?"

"Anything's fine." Jungkook signs a piece of paper then goes for the next in the stack. "Order something for yourself as well, my treat."

"Thank you Mr. Jeon but I'm fine."

Jungkook's face falls a little when he finally realized I've been calling him 'Mr. Jeon'.

"You can call me Jungkook." He looks up from his work. "With our relationship-"

"What relationship?" I smile politely. "You are my boss and I'm your secretary. It is unprofessional if I call you anything else during office hours."

Jungkook stares at me as if he was unsure if he wanted to argue but in the end he dismissed me and I went back to my desk. I debated on what to order when I remembered that he liked lamb skewers.

I quickly called the lamb skewer restaurant we ate together at and ordered lamb skewers and spicy chicken sets then I stared at my watch and realized that it was my break.

I grabbed my jacket and purse then went to the cafe across the street and ordered two coffees. I glanced at the other office workers on their break and they were all staring at me.

I internally sighed and grabbed my drinks then went back to my desk. The food came a few minutes later and I gathered Jungkook's ice coffee and lamb skewers then knocked on the door.

When he didn't answer I pressed my ear against the door and heard Jungkook talking to someone.

"No we're not getting married anytime soon." Jungkook sighs then there was a pause. "The company is more important to me than marriage."

Footsteps approached the door and Jungkook opened the door, he gestures for me to come in and I place his lunch on his desk. Jungkook stops me and takes out $50 from his wallet.

"That's too much." I shook my head.

"Just take it and keep the change." Jungkook says. "Huh? No it's my secretary."

I take the money and went to enjoy my break.

A few minutes later, the elevator door opens and Ina walks out with Avery. They walked towards my desk and I waved at them.

"What are you guys doing here?"

"I wanted to see how you were doing darling." Ina pouts and hugs you, her pregnant belly was all over your face. "And Avery said you had something to tell me."

Avery pretends not to hear what she said and I glared at her. "Avery loves to put her nose in other people's business."

"You were going to tell her anyways!" She defended herself and they dragged chairs to sit by your desk.

I took a huge sip of coffee before speaking, "Ina, I found the kids father."

"You did?" She gasped. "Who is it?"

"It's the president..."

"WHAT?!" She gasped and I placed my hand on her mouth before she could scream the rest of it out. When I took my hand off she whispered, "The president knows this as well?"

"He's the one who told me." I rubbed my temples. "The resemblance is close but nothing is certain unless we do a DNA test, it'll be awkward to ask him though."

"Well if he's saying he's the baby daddy then of course you have to get a test." Ina frowns. "He loves the kids doesn't he? Of course he'll want a DNA test to make sure it's certain."

Then I'll ask him tomorrow since we're going to be with the kids anyways. I sipped my coffee and eyed Ina's baby bump.

"So? When are you going to throw a baby shower?"

She immediately sulks and rests her head on my desk. "Ugh we've been so busy with the company we haven't planned one yet."

"Ask for a maternity leave." Avery snorts. "You're getting bigger! Working too hard isn't good for you or the baby."

"Are you calling me fat?!" Ina places her hand on her heart. "I know I've been gaining weight since being pregnant but you didn't have to be so rude about it!"

"And there goes another mood swing." Avery sighs and turns to me. "You know even during her first months her mood swings would be so severe? They got even worse!"

"Be pregnant and learn how we feel." I shook my head.

Near the end of office hours, the elevator doors open and an woman walked through the doors. She was wearing high end brands so I thought that she was a client or investor.

"How may I help you madam?" I asked standing up.

"I'm here to see Jungkook." She says looking the the direction of Jungkook's office. I took in her designer brands, and slight wrinkles. Is she Jungkook's mother? I was shocked she was standing in front of me since she looked so young but I put a smile on my face.

"I'll call the president and inform him that you're here." I picked up the phone and called Jungkook, he picked up after the first ring. "President Jeon your mother is here to see you."

"Tell her to wait right there." He tells me and hangs up.

"The president says to wait, he'll be here shortly."

Mrs. Jeon looks me up and down and frowns. "Are you the secretary that he mentioned on the phone?"

"Yes." I shifted awkwardly. "Earlier the president was just paying me back for ordering him lunch."

Mrs. Jeon nods and Jungkook walks out of his office. "What are you doing here?"

"After our phone call I got worried about you and had to visit." She glared at him. "How could you say that you don't want to get married to Sana yet? The company is doing just fine right now."

Jungkook pushes his hair back and sighs, "And just like how I told Mr. Minatozaki, I would like to keep it that way so that's why I need to focus on the company right now."

"You're just stalling." Mrs. Jeon scolds her son. "You're nearing your 30's soon, you need to get married."

Jungkook starts to lead his mother to his office but I could still hear him say. "You know I don't love Sana."

Although I knew, although everyone knew, that Jungkook wasn't in love with Sana, it was a relief to hear him say it himself. Why am I relieved?

"So you love someone else?" His mother retorts but they were too far away for me to hear his response. I couldn't hear his answer but his words from yesterday echoed through my mind.

"It still doesn't change the fact that I love you!"

The truth or a lie just to be near the kids? I don't think I would like to know that answer.

When I looked at the time, I realized that my shift had ended 20 minutes ago. Ah shoot, I'm going to be late to pick up the kids. I rushed to gather my things and spammed the elevator button. I shifted on my feet watching the numbers climb up and when the elevator doors finally opened I entered and tried to close the elevator doors as fast as possible.

"Wait!" Someone called out and I panicked sticking my hand in between the doors just as they were about to close and I cried out shaking my hand as I winced.

I looked up as Mrs. Jeon enters the elevators and I panicked even more.

"Oh are you alright?" She gasped when she saw my hand. "You didn't have to do that if the door was already closed."

"I just sort of panicked." I awkwardly chuckled and hid my hand behind my back, caressing it with my other hand. "Uh, is there a floor you need to go to?"

"I'm going to the ground floor as well."

The elevator starts to move downwards. Each time the elevator stops on a floor all the employees who had the intentions of getting in stopped when they caught the sight of Mrs. Jeon. It made me wonder if I should get out of the elevator myself, being alone in an elevator with her seemed too awkward.

"How long have you been working with Jungkook?" Mrs. Jeon asks out of the blue and I straightened my back out of nervousness.

What's wrong with you Y/N? You can make a speech in front of thousands but can't talk to your bosses mother? Oh wait if she's Jungkook's mother then she's the kids grandmother... Oh no how did I not think of that sooner. Shit!

"I-uh... I-it's been a little over 2 weeks." I stutter suddenly feeling a thousand times more awkward to be around her.

Mrs. Jeon gives me a once over and softly chuckles. "You don't have to be afraid of me sweetie, I'm not going to hurt you." This made the heat rise to my cheeks. "It's nice to finally see one of Jungkook's secretaries who doesn't try to suck up to me."

This caught my attention and I turned to her. "Did something happen?"

Mrs. Jeon scoffs and rolls her eyes. "Jungkook had a preference in... shameful ladies as secretaries. I think you can imagine how it went when they met me."

I bit my lip thinking of all the woman who tried to prove what a 'wonderful daughter in law' they could be, but I think they forgot the important fact that Jungkook was engaged.

Yes he is engaged, I have to remember that.

"Tell me about yourself." She smiles. "Think of it as a little interview, to see if you can continue working with Jungkook"

I fiddled with my fingers hoping that the elevator could hurry and reach your destination. "Well I lived in America for the past 7 years, I earned a MBA from Harvard. I worked as a financial controller before returning to Korea."

"A financial controller and Harvard?" Her eyebrows raise. "Why are you working as a secretary?"

I let out an awkward laugh and rubbed the back of my neck. "I originally planned on applying to be the head of finance but right after I was given the offer Mr. Jeon barged in saying he needed a secretary and chose me."

"What certainly sounds like Jungkook." She mutters. "What about your personal life? You've told me your education and previous work experiences, how about your family."

"I came back to Korea because my father has cancer... I brought back my children since they would have no one to watch them. My mother takes care of them when I'm busy."

"Children? You look young. Are you married?"

"No..." I stared at the floor and started scratching my finger. She must've understood what I meant since she didn't ask anymore questions and just stares ahead.

The elevator stops and the doors open. I let her exit first then make my way to my car. When I reached my car I just sat there and banged my head on the steering wheel. She probably think's I'm one of those 'shameless' secretaries now and try and get me fired. Great.
