"Queen Iris!" A young, excited voice squealed.

Zander and I had just arrived in the rogue territory, and the pack of rogues had seemed to have grown since yesterday. There was probably a hundred people today whereas only around eighty rogues were there yesterday.

Unfamiliar people were crowding around my old pack house, watching me curiously. The pack house was ancient, but it's large size was looming over them intimidatingly.

"Hello sweetheart," I replied, grinning down at the adorable child.

"Are you going to wear a crown?" The little girl asked curiously.

"I don't know, do you think it'd suit me?" I laughed.

Quickly, she nodded. "Yes! Shall I make you one Iris?" She exclaimed.

"I'd love that!" I said happily, smiling as she scuttled into the direction of the pack house.

The rest of the pack was silent. If it wasn't for Zander's arm wrapped around my waist I'm sure my nerves would have been eating me alive. It had felt strange coming back onto this territory, and I had tried to rid myself of the horrible memories of my past life here.

"I think we should go to the meeting room, please follow me." I projected loudly to the crowd. The meeting room was the place where pack meetings were held. It had a microphone at the front on a stage and the rest of the room was full of comfortable seats.

As fast as I could, I made my way through the crowd with Zander flanking my side. Eyes were staring at me, probably trying to work out my character.

Soon, everyone was seated and I was standing in front of the pack on the stage. Zander had kissed my cheek reassuringly before sitting on a chair behind me.

"Good afternoon everyone, I hope you all had a restful sleep." I started politefully. "Today I've come to introduce myself and hopefully we can sort arrangements and some obvious laws.

Well, as most of you probably know, I'm Queen Iris.. you can call me Iris, or whatever you like; as long as it isn't abusive please." I joked, hoping to warm up the tense atmosphere.

A few smiles were dotted through the crowd, resulting in my nerves settling slightly. "I noticed more members today, which is good. I want as many rogues as possible to join this pack. The word will spread soon that I accept anyone, of course under a few circumstances I may not allow some to join. However if I feel they are no threat to us or I could possibly help them to be no threat then they will be allowed."

Nods went around the pack as they agreed to my circumstances.

"Last week two of Zander's pack members were murdered by rogues. If anyone has any information on that I would like you to see me at the end. Those people have devastated a child's life. These kind of people will not be allowed anywhere near our pack, and when we find out who did it..." I trailed.

"Anyway, I want you all to know that I do not accept any rogue attacks, and if any of you conflict any pain on other pack members you will be punished appropriately."

A middle aged man raised his hand. "You can ask questions after, I promise." I said, smiling at him. He nodded and lowered his hand.

"Obviously, the pack house is absolutely huge with it's fifty single rooms and thirty family rooms. But, people are known to want privacy and houses are dotted around on the land." I stated,

"I'm going to leave a form on the wall after this meeting, I need you all to write your names and what kind of room you will need. Single, family or your own house. I will sort it out and have keys delivered to you all as soon as possible."

Murmurs of agreement echoed through the crowd and I took a deep breath.

"That was a lot of talking." I laughed breathily. "Does anybody have any questions?"

Slowly, a few hands raised. "Yes?" I asked, pointing to the middle-aged man who had his hand raised earlier.

"I have relatives in Scotland, their pack recently got attacked and ended up having to go rogue. Will they be able to join the pack still?" He questioned with a kind voice.

"Definitely!" I stressed, grinning as his face brightened.

A gothic teenager had his hand raised and I pointed to him. "What do we do? Like... do we go to school?" He asked, sounding confused. His hair was black and piercings were scattered over his skin. A black shirt covered his muscular body and dark skinny jeans were tucked into heavy looking boots.

"You go to school until you're sixteen then you will go to college or get a job." I answered, giving him a reassuring smile.

At the far back a woman, who had a child resting on her lap, had her hand raised. "Yeah, lady at the back." I said.

"Will you be on pack land all the time?" She said with a soft voice.

"No, Zander is my mate so I will need to stay with him in his land. But, if anything was to happen here you will be able to reach me in their land. I will be here all day on Fridays though, that can be pack day." I assured.

"Pack day?" A male voice spat.

Looking over, I saw a young man, maybe twenty. A deep scowl was engraved onto his face and he seemed angry. Mousy blonde hair fell to his shoulders and he was built like a brick house.

"Yes, pack day." I repeated confidently. "We have to mingle somehow, right? Fridays can be pack days for us. We will have fun and just be a pack. You might enjoy it." I countered, watching as his eyes narrowed.

"Awesome! Can we have sweets and cookies?" A small voice shouted.

The little girl from earlier was stood up on her chair, grinning wildly. A paper crown was in her hands, decorated with pink glitter.

"They will definitely be there!" I exclaimed, giggling as her green eyes widened with joy.

In seconds, she was out of her seat and running towards the stage. Her long blonde hair was floating behind her like a cape.

"I made you your crown." She whispered when she was in front of me, holding out the pretty creation.

"Oh, how lovely! Will you put it on for me?" I asked, bending to her level.

Eagerly, she nodded, placing the crown on my head gently. "Now you really are a queen." She said, looking at me wistfully.

Smiling, I stroked her cheek. "Thank you darling."

Blushing, she shrugged before bouncing off the stage and running out of the room.

Standing up straight, I directed my stance to the audience again. They were staring at me with shocked expressions, respect swirling in their eyes. "Well that's all for today guys, have a nice day!" I said gleefully.

People were flowing out of the doors like water and soon the room was empty.

"You did great babe." Zander spoke from behind me, wrapping his strong arms around my waist.

"Thank god. I really hope they like me." I sighed, leaning into his comforting hold.

"They do, especially Rapunzel." He chuckled.

"Rapunzel?" I asked.

"The little girl? Green eyes, long blonde hair?" He reeled, making me realise who he was talking about.

"Oh, she does look like Rapunzel, doesn't she?" I said, thinking of a little boy who would love to meet her.

"She does. Shall we get going? It's five o'clock." He informed me, steering me off the stage.

"Sure." I responded, walking down the isle between the chairs.

"Excuse me, Queen Iris?" A feminine voice spoke suddenly.

I jumped, looking up from the floor. A woman with ginger hair stood in front of me. Strange, yellow eyes were zeroed in on me. She was dressed in a long, lace dress; she looked gorgeous.

"Yes?" I queeried, wondering what she wanted exactly.

"I just wanted to inform you that I'm not just a werewolf." She started. "I'm a half breed, my mother is a witch."

"Oh..." I mumbled, shocked. Half witch, half werewolf, sounded amazing."That's awesome, can you ride a broom?"

A laugh escaped her lips at my bold question."I don't... But, I guess I could. My Mum does." She confessed, smiling.

"I'd love to meet her." I started, "Well, I should get going. We need to get back." I said, leaning into Zander.

"Okay, have a safe journey. Oh... and congratulations," She winked.

"Congratulations on what?" I asked, watching as she shrugged and quickly leff.

"Weird." Zander said, before bringing me forwards and strolling towards the entrance of the house.

Eventually, we arrived back at Zander's pack house. Exhausted, I decided to straight to bed, falling asleep as soon as my head touched the pillow.

~~~
"Chocolate, where is the bloody chocolate?" I groaned, continuing my search through the kitchen.
I'd awoken at three o'clock in the morning, a strange craving for chocolate overcoming me. Eventually, I'd decided to look for some, and to my dissapointment I couldn't find any.
"Ugh, shitty healthy carrot sticks." I rambled as I looked through the fridge.
Chuckles sounded behind me making me jump. Turning around, I was met with Logan laughing while watching me. In his hands was the one thing I had been searching for.
Chocolate.
Eyeing his chocolate, I walked towards him quickly. "Give me some, please!" I begged, feeling my tastebuds tingle in aticipation.
"Hmm. Should I or shouldn't I?" He questioned himself, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.
"If you don't I will show Anna pictures of you when you were twelve," I sang, holding my hand out.
"You wouldn't." He growled, narrowing his eyes.
"Oh, I would do anything for chocolate." I assured him teasingly.
"Fine." He groaned, handing me half of the bar.
Grinning, I devour the chocolate in seconds. Logan watched me with big eyes, looking shocked. "What?" I questioned innocently, walking back towards the bedroom.
Sliding into bed, Zander's arms wrapped around me subconsciously. His palm was flat down on my stomach, warming my skin. Soft snores vibrated against the back of my neck, confirming he was fast asleep.
"Goodnight baby." I murmured, kissing his knuckles. Within seconds I was asleep, dreams swirling under my eyelids.
