Zander was angry. In fact, he was furious.

"It was rogues? How fucking dare they? They think they can kill two of my pack members and get away with it? They're wrong, very fucking wrong." He growled out, pacing trenches into his office flooring.

"Zander, calm down. We won't get anywhere with you thinking with an angry mind. We can't just attack them, think about it!" I exclaimed, pushing him down into his chair and straddling his lap.

His darkened eyes swirled with realisation. Sighing in defeat, he leant back in his chair, closing his eyes as his head rested against the back of it. He opened one eye slowly and smirked at me, "You're hot when you're mad."

"Zander!" I scolded, slapping his chest.

Laughter vibrated through his body and gradually morphed into a sigh. "What are we going to do, Iris?" He questioned, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"We're not going to attack, that's for sure." I stated sternly.

"We can't just let them get away with it!" He exclaimed, frowning.

Smoothing out his frown with my fingers, I answered him. "What do you think they're expecting? They want us to retaliate. If we don't attack first it will give us more time to prepare for when they do." I stated.

"And what if they don't attack?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"We hunt them down." I said, climbing off his lap. "We need all of our pack members trained and ready to fight, if these rogues attack they will be ruthless and kill anyone. Women and children alike."

"All pack members are trained to fight, instead of physical education at school they have battle training." He informed me.

"Great, so we don't need to worry about that," I started, "But border control has to be improved. We have 25 members surrounding the area at all times, I think we should double it to 50 to make sure no rogues get past. We don't need a repeat of yesterday."

"I'll sort it. Tomorrow we'll have a pack meeting to inform them about our worry of an attack." He said, standing up from his chair.

Nodding, I walk into his outstretched arms, forgetting all of the stress as his warm embrace drowned me.

"What do you think they want?" I mumbled, resting my cheek against his chest.

"I don't know... war?" He asked, unsure himself.

"I'm not sure Zander. If they wanted war, surely they would just attack us all at once; when they had the biggest advantage." I said, drawing circles on his neck.

His chest vibrated as he hummed thoughtfully, twirling my hair between his fingers. "But what else could they want?" He replied.

The door banging open into the wall of Zander's office made us jump. "Iris, are you okay?" My Mother's worried voice questioned as she rushed into the room, my Father in tow.

"I'm fine, but two pack members have been killed by rogues." I informed her, grimacing.

She paused. "Oh my. Do you think it is..." Mum trailed off, looking at my Dad nervously.

"Possibly..." He started. "Iris, you said you had that dream; what was it about?"

"I was in a forest, there were rogues bowing down to me and this voice... identical to yours." I admitted, wondering how this had anything to do with the murders.

Mother gasped, sitting down. "He was right," She muttered, staring at me.

"What? Who was right?" I questioned, completely lost.

"Your Uncle, when you were born he said you would be... the Rogue Queen," Dad confessed, sitting next to my Mum.

"The Rogue Queen? Are you joking?" I retorted. This couldn't be true, I was not even a rogue myself. I couldn't possibly be a Queen for them.

My parents shared a look before looking towards me. "Uncle Dom has a power that lets him read into anyones future, sweetheart. It could definitely be true." Dad responded.

"But why? Why do they need a Queen? They aren't even followers," I exclaimed. The truth of it had started sinking in, only making more questions spill into my head.

"One day, the equality of werewolves was bound to happen, and you are the one to help that happen. The rogues will feel a connection to you, as you are their rightful Queen. They will listen to you. You will be the one to stop tragedies related to rogues happen. You will stop the constant worry of rogue attacks." Dad explained, answering all of my questions.

What the fuck... I'm a Queen?

I couldn't stop the worry forming deep inside me. "And... You're sure about this?" I gulped, thinking of possible bad scenarios of my first meeting with the rogues.

"I'm almost sure, Dom has never been wrong before." Dad informed me.

This was crazy. "I can't believe it." I mumbled, falling into the couch adjacent to my parents. "Why am I only finding this out now?"

"We forgot about it ourselves, you bringing up the rogues just brought that memory forward." Mum replied, putting her hand on top of my Fathers.

My heart jumped against my ribcage. So I was a Rogue Queen. Not shocking at all. The safety and happiness of thousands of werewolves were in my hands. No problem. I hadn't ever met a rogue in my life, excluding my sister. No pressure.

"How do I go about this?" I asked my parents desperately.

"Don't worry about it, honey. You should come across the rogues in the near future and everything will esculate from there. You just need to go on as normal and it will happen." Dad reassured.

I nodded, trying to reassure myself with his words. Just carry on as normal. But how? I had just found out that I could very possibly be the bloody Queen of Rogues! My head was jumbled, thinking about everything. Then a thought ran through my head, making my blood run cold.

"I'm the Queen of the people who killed Jake's parents," I spat out, staring at the wall.

You could have heard a pin drop.

"Even if I am the Queen, I will find the people who killed them and they will die." I stated concludingly, standing up. "I'm going to check on Jake." The silence was deafening as I walked out of the room.

Walking towards Jake's room, I knocked before entering. Jake was curled up in blankets watching his favourite movie: Tangled.

"Hey cheeky," I cooed, sitting next to the small five year old.

"Hi." He whispered, opening the blanket for me to get under with him.

Happily, I slid in next to him. My arm rested around his shoulder, his head leaning against my side.

"Tangled?" I asked, stroking his soft hair.

His head bobbed up and down in a nodding motion. "Flynn Rider is so cool, and he has a pretty princess to look at all day!" He said enthusiastically, pouting slightly after. "Mummy said that I'll have a princess one day, will I Luna?"

Smiling, I squeezed him gently. "Definitely, you'll be the next Flynn Rider."

"Really?" He exclaimed, showing off his toothy little grin.

"Yep!" I replied, smiling down at him.

His grin didn't falter for the rest of the movie, he sat there beaming brightly as he continuosly confessed his admiration for Flynn Rider and how beautiful Rapunzel was.

Soon the film was finished and Jake had fallen asleep. Slowly, I laid him down on his bed and tucked him in. "Goodnight sweetheart," I whispered, placing a kiss on his forehead before walking out.

As I turned from closing the door, an unexpected kiss was placed on my lips. Strong, familiar arms wrapped around my waist. Just what I needed.

Pulling away, I panted slightly. "What was that for?" I breathed, resting my forehead against his.

"For being a perfect mate... a perfect Luna." Zander answered, kissing me once more. "You're having my babies one day." He added, rubbing my stomach.

Grinning, I nodded. "We will be having babies whether you liked it or not," I informed him, smirking.

"Oh, is that right?" He asked amused, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes that's right, Mr. Alpha." I whispered.

His eyes darkened slightly, "It's just as well then, because we're having pups whether you like it or not." He whispered back into my ear.

I laughed. "I hate when you call them pups."

"You should get used to it." He started, pulling me closer. "After I've made you scream tonight who knows what to expect."

My breath hitched as a red tinge spread across my cheeks. "Zander!" I whispered, looking around to see if anyone had heard him. Thankfully, nobody was in the hallway.

"Don't worry, nobody's around." He chuckled, brushing his thumbs over my red cheeks.

"You hope. What if there's spies?" I accused, tracing his torso muscles through his shirt.

"We don't have spies, baby." He said, rolling his eyes playfully.

"You never know..." I said, pouting.

"Shut up," He muttered, kissing me hungrily. I smiled, kissing him back equally as forceful.

His kisses are always beautiful. Each one, no matter where or how long they last, are filled with passion and love. It only made our bond grow stronger.

Suddenly, Zander picked me up and walked towards our bedroom. The door opened and closed within seconds, our kiss never breaking. "I love you," He mumbled into my mouth.

"I love you." I breathed, as he pushed me onto the bed.
