We end up in Alpha Jake's office. He's glaring at the person across from us while holding me tightly against his chest while I am sat on his lap. "Speak," He growls out. Making me flinch a bit and causes him to run reassuring circles on my arm.
"Well you see. I gave you your mate back and now I want the same in return." My brother grins while crossing his arms.
"What are you talking about? I didn't take your mate from you." The confusion is clear in Jake's voice.
"I know that, but you can help me get her back. My dad, he took her and I need her." His voice slips from cocky to emotional and longing. "I need my mate back. You know how it feels. Please help me get her."

     Alpha Jake doesn't even take a second to think about it. "No," he spits out. We both look at him shocked. "You took my mate from me and now you expect me to help you? You're wrong. Guards bring him to the cells." Alpha Jake stands up bringing me with him. "Let's go Juliet."
   
     He starts to walk away but I grab onto his arm and shake my head pointing at my brother. "I know he won't hurt you anymore," I sigh because he's not understanding what I mean. I look at him again and try to convey what I want to say.

    Alpha Jake looks at me shocked. "You want me to help him? That doesn't make and sense."

     I stare him straight in the eyes and beg him. He looks back at me for a while before his eyes soften and his shoulder slack. "Okay, I'll help you, but only because my mate wants me to. You make one wrong move and your done." Alpha Jake growls out, but my brother doesn't seem to care he looks over enjoyed at the thought of getting his mate back.

      "We'll discuss plans later. Right now I need to make sure my mate is alright," he gently takes my hand and leads me to his bedroom and sits down on the bed sitting me next to him.

     "I still can't believe you are here. Everyone said that you were dead and my wolf felt a severe in the bond." I just squeeze his hand that he still is holding onto tightly.

     He looks me deeply in the eyes before resting his head on my forehead. I have to admit I missed him too, he wasn't the only one who felt the affects of the mate bond, which I am surprised about after not feeling my wolf for years. I did not feel her exactly, but I felt a whole in my heart without him.

      "I had some food sent up," he motions to a tray on the bedside table. "Why don't you eat and clean up the we can go to bed." Alpha Jake hands me the tray and the delicious smell of tomato basil soup, bread, and ceaser salad floats up my nose.

     Once I eat a little more than half of it with a happy alpha sitting next to me I go to take a shower. I wash off all the dirt and wash my hair. I get it out and put on some comfy clothes for bed and head back into the room. Alpha Jake smiles up at me and scoots over in the bed, holding his arms out for me. I nervously walk towards him and stop at the end of the bed.

     "Come to bed please. You know I won't hurt you. And I've missed you so much, I just need to know you are safe." With that being said I carefully slide under the covers and he pulls me to him. Closing my eyes I get some of the best sleep in a while.

A/N: I know I haven't updated in forever. I thought with the whole quarantine thing I would get more time to update but school takes up so much time. How are you all? Hope you enjoyed this update.
