Arthit's POV

I was awaken by my growling stomach.

I tossed and turned to sleep last night due to the note Kong left me.

It felt like a deja vu but whenever I tried to think more about it, the more I find myself on a dead end.

Was it just my imagination?

I opened one of my eyes to check  the time.

11:30 am.

It was a Sunday morning.

If I can hibernate for the whole day, I would.

But my stomach won't let me.

I lazily dragged myself out of the bed and went to my kitchen.

I tried to scavenge for food.

I left no stone unturned in my kitchen but it was unfruitful.

I heard my stomach rumbling again.

I went back to my bed to get my wallet and my key.

I never bothered to fix myself since I know everybody, if not back to their hometown, they are probably inside their caves.

And I just don't care at all.

I'm thinking of eating at the cafeteria downstairs.

Half asleep.

 I walk towards the elevator.

I was already meaning to eat Gaeng Daeng.

I can already imagine the taste of it in my mouth that it makes me drool.

Ting.

The elevator opened.

I sidestepped to give space to someone but I did not look up to see who it was.

Heck, all I care at the moment is my stomach.

Ting.

The elevator opened again.

I sauntered towards the cafeteria excitedly.

Gaeng Daeng, here I come.

I thought.

When I reached the place, it was closed.

Of all time, why now?

Where should I eat?

There are restaurants nearby but they are two to three blocks away.

Moreover, I am only wearing my boxer and a loose sleeveless shirt.

I sighed in disappointment.

I guess I have to go back and change.

My stomach won't let me put me at rest so might as well satisfy it first.

I took a look at the poster with Gaeng Daeng one more time.

I stomped my way to the elevator again.

While waiting, I was looking down and sulking inside.

My hand went unconsciously to my stomach, I think my worms are eating each other now inside.

I smiled at the thought.

Then Kongpob's handwriting entered my mind again.

I am pretty sure, I saw that handwriting before.

but where?

I thought hard enough last night but it was pointless.

Nothing comes in my mind.

Kongpob.

"Good noon, Arthit."

"Ay, Kongpob!" I exclaimed at the same time. I did not even hear any footsteps coming so I was really surprised. "Don't scare me like that,"

"Eh? I've been here for a little while now. " he asked.

"Is that so?" I said awkwardly. "What are you doing here, by the way?"

"I just moved here."

"In this building?"

"Yes, " he nodded.

Of all places, why here?

"What floor?"

"7th," he answered. "You live here?"

"9th." I answered shortly.

Ting.

The elevator opened.

We both entered and pressed our designated floor.

"Why are you out there ?" he looked at me from head to toe. I felt conscious. "looking like that." he added.

"What do you mean "looking like that"?" I furrowed my brow.

The corner of his lips perked up.

I squinted my eyes. "Move away," I shove him out.

The wall that he was blocking was mirror-like.

What the hell was I thinking going out like this?

Why didn't I bother to at least look at the mirror before heading out?

I checked myself out again.

I look like I just got up the bed.

Which is true, anyway.

Crinkled top.

Hair disheveled.

Red marks of sheets on my face.

And lastly, the white powdery line of dried saliva from my lips up to my ears.

Fuck. I couldn't help but cursed.

I quickly wiped it out using my bare hands.

I narrowed my eyes and turned to him. He was doing his best to conceal his smile.

"Go ahead," I said calmly.

"Hmm?" acting like he doesn't know what I was trying to say.

"Laugh.."

To my dismay, I don't need to repeat myself, he burst out laughing until to his hearts content.

I maintained a stern look on my face.

"Are you done yet?" I asked after a few moment. He seemed to have no plans of stopping.

"Don't worry, you're still cute." he said in-between laughter.

"I know that, thank you." I said sarcastically.

Ting.

He arrived at his floor.

He ceased laughing.

I was caught off guard when he stretched his arm and grabbed me along with him.

"Hey, " I called him out while he as dragging me. "What are you doing?"

He ignored me. His grip was so tight that I couldn't get away from it.

I tried to pull my  hand out but he never loosened his grip.

When we reached a door, few steps away from the elevator.

He took out his key and opened it while the other was still tightly gripping me.

"Why did you bring me here?" he still wasn't letting go of my hand.

"To feed you," he answered bluntly.

"Couldn't you just invite me like normal people do instead of dragging me here? " I asked.

"Come eat at my place, "

"No, " I said instantly.

"See? It's pointless. "

I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath. "I am not hungry," I said just in time when my stomach rumbled loudly.

"Your stomach is telling me otherwise." he smiled. "After you, " he demonstrated me in.

When I got in, He walked past me and led me to the kitchen.

"Have a seat, " he motioned the stool by the kitchen counter.

The other side of it has the burner.

He opened the fridge and took out the ingredients he needed.

While he was doing what needed to be done, I roamed my eyes.

His dorm looks cozy and homey.

It was tidy and everything is at their right places.

I smirked.

Just like a woman's room. I retorted.

"You can eat and drink this while waiting," he gave me a glass of juice and a plate of cookies.

I declined not since I was really hungry. "Thank you. "

Sahit is very lucky to have a sensitive partner like him.

The next few minutes, all I hear was the sound of him cooking.

I watched him as he did so.

He seemed so engrossed about what he was doing.

The clinking of utensils.

The kitchen was filled with a delicious aroma.

My stomach growled even more.

"Here, "

"Gaeng Daeng?" my mouth was wide open with so much happiness. I eagerly took the spoon and tried it. "Tasty,"

I stared at him as if asking permission to attack the food which the latter nodded.

"It's not that I am really hungry but since you've cooked this already might as well eat it." I reasoned out.

He flashed a tight-lipped smile. "Okay, go ahead. "

He put a bowl of rice and  the bowl of Gaeng Daeng on the counter.

Set the utensils in front of me as well as the condiments.

Then I took the spoonful of rice and the dish in my mouth.

Then another one and more until I remember..

At the corner of my eyes, I saw him refilling my glass of juice.

I shifted my gaze at him. He was just watching me as I eat. "I know this is late but how about you?"

"I'm fine, don't mind me. You go and eat. There's more,  if you want. " he answered.

"This is delicious, " I said. I continued on munching.

"I don't taste what I cook but I am glad it turned out that way."

"Really?" eagerly, I quickly took a spoonful of rice and put a dish on top of it and directed it towards his mouth. "Try it," I said.

When it was near his mouth, I stopped.

He seemed taken aback at my action.

What am I doing?

I paused for a moment then slowly pulled my hands away.

Next thing I knew, his hand was on mine.

Tightly grasping it, "Sure," he said while looking straight into my eyes.

Slowly while looking at me, he directed our hands while holding a spoonful of food onto his mouth.

I held my breath as my heart seemed to stop beating at that moment.
