I wake up to Louis shaking my shoulder.

"Haz, we have to leave in half an hour to get there on time."

"Okay, okay," I say as he presses a kiss into my cheek. "What time is it?"

"Half six."

"What the hell, Lou?" I try to hold a pout, but it breaks into a laugh.

"Sorry, but they live an hour away, and the traffic will be bad."

-

I watch Louis drive the car. His hand is on the steering wheel, but only his fingers poke out of the sleeves of his blue hoodie. His other hand is on the gear stick, and I put mine on top of his, lacing our fingers together. He looks over at me and smiles.

"I missed you."

"What do you mean? It was only overnight." I lower my eyebrows.

He laughs. "No, you fool, I missed you in the time the band wasn't together."

"Oh, I missed you too."

"You don't sound very convinced, Haz," I tense, but he just giggles.

"No, I just wasn't expecting it, that's all. I missed you insane amounts. You know I haven't dated anyone since I dated you."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I couldn't stop thinking about you."

"Haz," Louis briefly takes his eyes off the road and looks towards me. "I never stopped thinking about you either."

He sets his eyes back on the road.

-

"Can we stop for breakfast?" I suggest. "I didn't eat before we left."

"Sure," He nods, indicating off the motorway.

Realising we have no security with us, we get sandwiches from a drive through. He complains, wanting a cooked meal, but settles when I remind him that we would just get bombarded by fans.

"Let's sit in the back," He says, opening the car door for me. I climb inside, my knees hitting the back of the seat in front.

He goes around the other side and jumps in the car. He throws his food onto the leather seat and takes mine from my hand, before sitting close to me, our shoulders pressed together.

"What are you - "

He pushes his lips against mine, and I feel his hand run through my hair. I push back. We kiss properly for the first time since the other day.

"You're so beautiful, Lou."

He smiles widely, only proving my point. For a few seconds I was lost in his eyes.

"So are you, Haz," He winks, before shifting over. "Sandwich?" He flashes me a mischievious grin.

I take it.

-

"Why is it taking so long?" Louis groans.

"Not enjoying my company?" I joke, grabbing his knee.

"You've been asleep for the last half an hour, you asshole," He laughs, flashing his teeth.

"I'm sorry, I didn't realise I needed to get up so early." I say sarcastically. I get flashbacks from the night before, playing video games with the other lads. "How long do we have left?"

"Satnav says half an hour, we going to be late," He pushes his head back onto the headrest.

"It'll be alright, Lou. We're nearly there, you'll get to see him. I'm sure Bri won't mind if we're a little bit late."

Soon after, Louis pulls off the main road, and I find myself driving down a maze of winding streets. Rows of houses tower over us, at least three stories high. Louis' eyes focus on the street ahead as though he was searching for the right house. He points to a red brick house with a pretty garden on the end of a row.

"That's it."
