Quick updates for some reason, don't know why :) But I'm really busy this week so there probably won't be another update until later next week xx

"It was an absolute pleasure working with you today, Angus." Doctor Smith smiled at the man still sitting in just his underwear on the table. "Our next appointment is in two weeks from now, where I'll finish the general checkup, give back some test results and you can hand me back the health questionnaire."

Angus couldn't really care about what he was saying, some words were too big and unfamiliar. He knew Evelyn was listening for him and he was very thankful. He looked down next to him where Evelyn sat, still smaller then him by a while. Her eyes were trained on the doctor and she nodded every now and then taking everything in. Her hair was pulled back today and off her face. Angus still liked her hair like this, but he loved it when her curls were wild and falling down her back messily.

"You can put your clothes back on Gus." Evelyn smiled up at him. He noticed that the doctor had left the room for him to do so. He nodded and couldn't resist the urge, so he kissed her head before pushing himself off the table and to where his pile of clothes were folded neatly in the corner.

Evelyn admired from the small distance as his muscles flexed as he pulled the black trackie shorts up his long legs. She felt herself swooning as he pulled the white tee-shirt over his torso, laughing as he still hadn't adjusted to quickly and smoothly putting on a shirt. A moment later his head popped out of the shirt and a cute smile was on his flushed face.

The shorts were not a problem for Angus as he had been wearing them his whole life, and although he didn't like t-shirts, he could cope with them. What he hated though, were the contraptions they called shoes. He hated the fact that his toes were confined together in a pointy end and no air could get on his feet. Socks are even worse.

"We need to go to the shops, then we can go home." Evelyn smiled at him as he blankly started down at the stupid shoes. "Is that okay?"

Angus sighed, a heavy and dramatic sigh before he bent down and picked up the shoes they call running shoes and put them on his feet with a nod to her question. Tucking the laces into the sides of the shoes because he hasn't mastered the art of a double knot, he stood up and flung an arm around Evelyn's shoulder. A small blush appeared on her cheeks as she leaned into him momentarily before she flung her backpack over one shoulder that had all of the paperwork as they left the building.

Angus felt useless walking through the busy streets. There were so many people around him, all getting in his personal space accidently nudging him. They had been walking for ten minutes already, and Angus felt his anger growing thicker and thicker by the minute. Why can't these people not touch him every few seconds and leave him be? Did they know he wasn't from here, was it because he entered their territory that it's a threat?

The thought itself made his body tense up, his grip on Evelyn's hand unconsciously tightening. The strong grip made Evelyn eyes snap up to Angus, a wave of concern hitting her like a tsunami.

"Hey, Gus. We're almost there." Evelyn said, her soft voice soothing him slightly. "Just a few more minutes, I didn't realize it was going to be this busy sorry." Evelyn felt guilty that the street was so crowded to day. Many and many of people were littered everywhere making where they were walking very intrapersonal with everyone's space. Shoulders were bumped, backs of feet were trod on and some people walking against the flow of people walked straight into you. Evelyn was used to it but she couldn't even begin to fathom what Gus felt like. If he wasn't so tall with his head above everybody than she feels he might have gotten claustrophobia by being boxed in with everyone.

He smiled down at her, hating her see so distressed by his discomfort, however the smile didn't reach his eyes. Evelyn knew he was trying his best but she introduced him to the busy streets much too quickly.

"Come here," she said after a few minutes of walking at a faster pace. They had reached the destination of the supermarket which happened to be Angus' favorite store. All of the food he hadn't tried yet all with completely different tastes was amazing to him however most things in a box which Evelyn called 'processed foods' he found tasted funny and fake, whereas all of the fruits were sweet and delicious. They only had to pick up some milk because already they had run out (Gus was a fan). Ten minutes later, they walked out with the milk, two blocks of chocolate and a slab of precut watermelon.

"Do you want to go back to the house, or to a park or something?" Evelyn asked Gus as they merged back into the flow of people.

"Park." Angus decided. Already he had been there once and there weren't many people apart from a few kids. They were small and fell over a lot of the time so he found it amusing. Evelyn drove them to the park once they had made it back to the car park behind the doctor's office. The park was out of the city and in the suburban area.

The park was a small, open green field surrounded by large pine trees. The open lake was a dirty brown colour that is very unhygienic and unswimable yet hidden by a few willow trees with bright green leaves draping above the water. No animals lived in the water, maybe the odd duck and small fish but the stillness of the water undisturbed only added to the beauty.

Angus loved this place. It was so quiet, so still and didn't smell funny either. He could think and be reminded of home, even though it still was quite different, and the quiet area was peaceful apart from the odd shriek from the kids on the playground off to one of the sides.

Evelyn grabbed the chocolate, watermelon and her backpack from the back seat of the car and Gus grabbed her hand. They walked underneath the pine tree line into the open space and found a nice, sunny spot on the empty field that wasn't yet occupied.

"You did well at the doctors." Evelyn said, sparking a conversation. "I could see you were uncomfortable but you didn't get angry at him."

"I didn't like how he grabbed Angus', uh my balls."

Evelyn couldn't help but laugh from his abrupt statement. The pure discomfort from Angus face as Doctor Smith checked for any testicular disformalities was priceless if she wasn't so uncomfortable herself. She had turned away when this happened and felt embarrassed from being in the room to witness it.

"Sometimes, I wonder how you know the names to the most male prioritized organs in the body." Evelyn said with a laugh.

"Uh, Mike told me. At home, he explained stuff." Angus said, not fazed at all by the forward topic.

"Of course he did." Evelyn replied with a laugh. Angus leant back so his large body was lying down, but his torso was up in the air supported by leaning back on his arms. Evelyn lay down too, her head resting on his stomach and her legs crossed at her ankles. She closed her eyes and sighed, melting into Angus body as she felt him shift to run his hand through her pony tail.

"Will we see Mike, again?" Angus asked. He wasn't over fond of the man at first, but he had grown to like him. Whenever he was at camp and Evy wasn't around to talk to, Mike was. He was understanding of his predicament and took things slow with him, never getting frustrated but he also teased him.

"He's working with dad for a bit longer, then going home." Evelyn informed him. "He only lives an hour and a bit away, so we can go visit him one day if you want." Angus didn't know how far an hour and a bit away way but he didn't question it. Instead, he ate some chocolate.

For hours, the pair lay on the ground talking, laughing, sharing quick kisses or longer passionate ones, eating and joking. The language barrier between them of Angus not knowing lots of English didn't faze them at all. Instead, they just laughed. And laughed, and laughed. It got to a point where Angus knew that he and never laughed so much in his entire life and his stomach felt as though it had been stabbed multiple times. At one point, he even found his eyes leaking which only caused them to burst into more laughter.

Eventually, they both got bored of lying down. They were getting restless and the field was still empty.

"I'm pretty sure I have a ball in the car." Evelyn said. "How about we play some footy?" (A/N Australian Football) Angus agreed to the suggestion and watched as his Evy jogged off to her car. When she returned, there was an ovular ball in her hands, bright red with black writing on it.

"I'm absolute rubbish at this," Evelyn warned him. "All you do is drop the ball onto your foot, and kick. Like so." Angus watched as Evelyn dropped the ball to her foot and kick it. The ball went flying forwards, slightly to the left and it spun in quick circles. A few seconds later it dropped onto the ground and bounced a sharp right as they just stood there and watched it.

"Just make sure it hits your foot and you'll be right." Evelyn spoke some wise words.

Angus jogged over to where the ball lay still on the ground and picked it up. Evelyn watched fascinated as he picked up the footy with only one hand, his large tanned fingers splaying out and contrasting with the bright red. He inspected it for a moment, before doing what Evelyn did. He lined up, dropped the football and kicked. The ball connected with his shin and shot high upwards, landing only a few meters in front of him. The ball bounced to a stop and he questionably looked up at Evelyn who burst into a fit of laughter. He soon found a smile appearing on his face and once again, they were laughing.

"Evelyn picks up a loose ball and see Gus running for her." Evelyn jokingly commentated though panting for air. "She dodges quickly, loosing Gus in the process but no, wait! He's back on her tail."

She heard Gus laughing behind her as he chased her, but he wasn't laughing at the commentary. He was laughing because Evelyn doesn't have a tail, he didn't understand the sense of humor.

"She sees the goals, lines up to kick the goal an-" her commentary was cut off by Angus grabbing her from behind. His strong arms wrapped around her upper torso, trapping her arms to her side as she shrieked with laughter. He lifted her up and off the ground, Evy's legs kicking wildly in the air as she laughed, their version of being tackled. She tried her absolute hardest to drop the ball in line with her foot but missed entirely, her body being rotated in the air away from the ball.

"And she dropped it." Angus joined in on the commentary. "Gus free ball." He releases her from the 'tackle' and picks up the loose ball. Evelyn caught on quick as she ran after Angus who had already started moving.

Somehow, someway he didn't get very far and Evelyn jumped on him. His body from the surprise fell to the ground, the ball flying from his hands and Evelyn landed with a thump on top of him. They both started laughing, Angus lying flat on his stomach and Evelyn lying on top of him, half on and half off his back.

"Dropped it," she whispered quietly after their laughter died down. Angus felt the sudden mood change and he rolled onto his back, holding Evelyn where she was. Her eyes peered into his dark brown orbs, both equally as fascinated and in awe of one another. She softly smiled as he leant up and she bent down to meet him half way.

Their lips met in a gentle kiss, the lingering of their hovering lips making them only want more. Angus gave in first as he pushed his face upwards, increasing the force of their lips one another. Evelyn happily responded as their lips moved in sync. Angus pushed himself up so he was siting, his large hands grabbing her upper thighs in order to get Evelyn to sit on his lap. Her arms wound around his neck, pulling his torso in closer while her fingers played with the strands of his now softer hair.

Angus hands were roaming from her thighs, butt and lower back as he caressed her. Evelyn tugged on his hair slightly which he released a throaty groan and he froze momentarily, in a trance by her. Evelyn pulled back, a smile on her face and she quickly pressed a quick kiss onto his parted lips before standing up.

"Evelyn has the free kick." She declared, back in commentator mode. Angus lay panting on the ground, wondering what on earth she was doing to him. He watched as she laughed and ran away, her melodic laugh pulling him out of the trace as he ran to catch up with her.

The footy has started again and I couldn't resist writing about it. The story which never had a country to be set in, is now set in Australia!
