We ran. We ran as fast as we could.

Your legs that were shot earlier were killing you. But you didn't let them down, so kept your ground making sure you guys weren't being followed. But Yona got tired and we had to stop.

You looked back at Yona and back at the castle. We lost our great beloved King and our friend Min-su. All in one night....

"Hak....(Y/n).... What if you both die..." Yona said softly causing you to snap out of thought.

You looked at her, her eyes seemed dull, her face was pink after crying for so long.

"I won't lose my life to that Bastard." Hak answered.

"Same here." You said, gently patting her head.

After we responded she looked down at the ground. Her eyes became glassy. "(Y/n), Hak...I forbid you to die."

That's all she said before falling asleep.

You heavily sighed, all of this just doesn't seem real to you. You know you haven't met Hak, Yona and Su-woon for that long, you felt like Hak and Yona have it harder. They known Su-woon for so long, and have this happen to them is awful.

They don't deserve it...

"Oi, (Y/n) your bleeding."

His voice was low and raspy which caused you to jump a little."Huh, oh, that? It's nothing really." You said looking down at your legs.

Hak just stared at you, he walked over to you to get a better look at your wound; but you stopped him.

"Hak I'm fine," you said you held your hand out so he can't walk any farther,"You know nothing hurts me."

He gave you a look. A look you've never seen before. It made you realize how much you admired him. Hak has always been strong and independent for as long as you've known him. Seeing him hurt made your heart shatter.

You never want to see him like that. Hak then took out bandages out of his pocket, and patted the ground in front of him. You sat down and Hak wrapped the bandages on both legs. Making the bandages tighter each time to prevent it from bleeding.

After that he just looked down to the ground, not only was Su-woon Yona's friend, he was Hak's friend too.

You got up to go behind him and wrap your hands around his neck. You hugged from behind knowing how much he liked his space.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry." You said putting your head on his shoulder.

You two stood there what felt like hours, he grabbed your hand. You loosened your arms startled by his actions.

"Thank you...."

The next morning we headed off. Away from the castle, away from yona's home. We went to travel to the wind clan, but during the travels yona wasn't looking good. She wouldn't speak, she wouldn't eat, she just wasn't stable. You worried for her.

Both Hak and you were worried. The two of you kept telling her to eat but every time you guys tried she would always gave blank face.

Right now, she was just taking a shower when all of the sudden she screamed. Hak was going to go after her but you hurried in front of him so that you could see what was wrong.

"(Y/n), what are theses?" She questioned.

"They're just leeches, they're usually in ponds and stuff." you took off the blood sucking leeches off of her and began to walk away.

When you were walking you stepped on something. Looking down you saw a hair pin. Wasn't this the hair pin su-woon gave her?

Your heart stopped as you further examined the hair pin. You walked back to camp seeing Hak already packing up to move to another place.

"Hak."

"Hm?"

"Do you recognize this?" You lifted up the hair pin and all you could feel was anger coming from Hak. "She still has that?" He asked.

"Apparently she still hasn't moved on."

He stood up and took the pin away from you. You could tell he was angry. You felt like you should have been anger too but you were just disappointed yet understanding. She was in love with him for so long. Of course she would still have feelings for him.

There's just feelings you can't get over.

"We'll rest here" said hak as he sat down near the fire you made.

You were cooking, as you were putting the fish over the fire, you saw from the corner of your eye that Yona was looking for something.

"What's wrong? Did you lose something?" Hak asked. She didn't say a word. She just kept looking down.

You were finally finished with the fish and tried to serve it to Yona, but she didn't want to eat. She finally got the strength to get up on her own. You were surprised by this but it didn't faze hak at all.

"Where you off too?"  You asked.

"I'll be right back." Is all she said before running off to the woods.

Hak sighed heavily as he looked down. You looked at him, you could tell he was mad...

"Hak."

He turned to me. "You should go after her." He nodded as he got up tiredly. Hak patted your head and left.

You know he's mad and confused. But, you knew how she felt. You loved your mother with all your heart.

No matter what she did to me, I still love her.

After a few minutes went by you saw Hak carrying Yona. You got up in a panic thinking something happen to Yona. With further examining, you saw Hak's leg.

"Snake bite..." he said. Hak slowly let Yona down and you quickly guided Hak to the lake. You pulled up his pant leg and began to wash the bite.

"Sorry this might hurt a little." You heard him wince in pain, as you tied the bandages tightly.

During all of this Yona just stood in the side lines not saying a word.

"I'm sorry..." she murmured. "Hak I didn't mean to-"

"Where you looking for this?" He said as he held the hair pin in front of Yona. She didn't say anything, she just stared at it as Hak handed her back her hair pin.

"Neither (Y/n) or I will ever forgive Su-woon. But more importantly, we want you to live."
