Chapter 34: What a liar

I stood in the kitchen flipping pancakes on the pan. The smell roamed my nose as I drooled over the perfectness of it.

It was the next day after Aiden and I had that hot moment. We both agreed to not tell anyone about it. I didn't hate to admit how he affected me. How Aiden Lane, the guy I would never expect, would fall for me.

I bit my lip thinking of the fact of how Aiden held me last night. How I saw the thirst in those blue eyes of his. Those light ocean blue eyes.

We both had to leave back to the lake house and gladly talked normally in the car. I wanted to so bad just stop the car and kiss him. It's how I felt. It's how he made me feel.

When we got home we both parted our ways, me heading off to my room and Aiden to his.

I felt a smile lift my face as I remembered everything.

When he kissed me...I felt...relieved. All my concerns were gone. Everything I feared, everything I loathed, everything I wondered...left. His lips cleared my mind and I wanted that feeling all the time.

Other than that, Layla was leaving tonight which meant we wouldn't be able to do the little game she brought up.

I would say that was a waste of ten thousand dollars but then again her game led me closer to Aiden.

Jesus Christ why are my thoughts filled with Aiden.

I heard the kitchen door open and footsteps walk in. I paid no attention to it guessing it was one of the adults.

The steps of the person were low and I suddenly felt the presence behind me, a smile filled my face at the familiar scent that whiffed over the pancakes smell.

"Just can't stay away from me huh?" I asked with a playful smirk as I turned around to see Aidens tall figure right in front of me.

He was wearing a casual white undershirt that revealed his well-defined muscle and inked tattoos. His raven black hair was shifted slightly out of his eye giving me a clear view of his ocean colored orbs.

A smirk played on his rosy lips as he narrowed his eyes at me.

I let out a small yelp as I felt his hands grip the upper part of my thighs and set me on the counter near the stove. The feeling of his fingertips touching my skin made me tingle.

I leaned slightly over turning off the stove so this beautiful lake house wouldn't go to waste because of his foolishness.

My legs were spread on each side of his waist. His torso was close to mine and I felt his arms wrap around my lower back as he bit his lip and roamed his eyes over my face.

"Your parents might see us, you need to put me down," I whispered as I glanced at the door behind him afraid of an adult's presence entering in and seeing young adolescents affectioning each other on a kitchen counter.

That would be awkward.

He chuckled lightly, "We could move to my bedroom if you'd like. I haven't eaten breakfast yet." he whispered seductively, his blue eyes filled with hunger.

I was hungry also but for some reason, Aidens presence made my stomach only focus on butterflies and not the craving for food.

"Well I made pancakes," I announced proudly as I tucked a curl behind my ear and waved my hands towards the pancakes that were set on the white and gold plates.

I glanced back at him and I couldn't tell what expression was on his face but I just knew he was about to say something naughty-

"I'm hungry for something else," he said huskily as I felt his fingers trace the waistband of my shorts and slowly slide down.

I grabbed his hands and removed them.

"You're naughty," I gasped as I bit my lip from laughing at how his touch made me feel an abnormal sensation.

He smirked revealing his perfect white teeth, "You tempt me," he whispered as he leaned forward and kissed my neck softly.

If he kisses my neck one more time I will have his kid.

Right here.

I held back a moan as I felt his soft lips lightly suck a sensitive area on my neck, licking and tugging. His hands went under my shirt allowing me to feel his strong hands on my skin. The warmness made goosebumps form on me as his hands that felt like pillows grasped onto my sides and rubbed my back.

"Aiden not...now," I tried saying. This boy did something to me. He was the human and I was the zombie. Feasting and raging for more.

We hadn't talked about what we are yet but from how we ended last night I felt like we were sort of official.

I felt his smirk on my neck knowing that he knew he affected me.

I felt his lips slowly and softly graze up from my neck towards the edge of my ear before he whispered.

"Why are you doing this to me?" he whispered huskily. I swallowed back, catching my breath from his actions before.

"Doing what?" I asked in his ear as his lips stayed near mine.

"Making me feel...emotion. Making me want more...so much fucking more," he answered and I felt my breath hitch.

I rested my head on his shoulder as his thumbs grazed my back lightly and his chin rested on my head.

I had no answer. No response. How did I make him feel like that? How did me... a girl with a sad life who tried her best to hide it, end up falling for this bad boy. This boy with a dirty mouth and a crazy mind. This boy that every girl wanted and every girl craved. Out of all of them...he chose me.

I smiled at the thought, at the feeling of his thumb pad rubbing my lower back. The smell of his captivating cologne secured onto my nose and there was no way I was going to complain about that.

I got him...it happened in quite an odd way but I got him.

I explained to him last night in the car that Mason and I's date didn't go well and we just both agreed to act like normal friends. Mason wanted to keep his sexuality a secret and I wasn't the one to spread other's business.

I leaned out from his shoulder to face him and watched as his blue eyes that I used to be intimidated by were soft and warm. To think that he was all big and bad.

I looked at all his facial features; his nose that looked slightly crooked, his dazzling eyes that carried a twinkle in them from the intensity of the kitchen light, his rose-colored lips that were an amazing shade of red, his long eyelashes that were curved slightly up, the small amount of eye bags that were formed under his eyes, and that amazing jet black volumed hair that always found it's way to cover his forehead.

"I don't think I've ever been turned on by a girl checking me out," he murmured with a smirk on his face.

I rolled my eyes and shoved his chest lightly but him being the strong man he is, his body didn't even flinch. He clasped my wrists and held them to his chest that was hidden with his shirt. The feeling of his skin being one thin layer of shirt away made my hands prickle with an urge. I lowered my eyes to where he kept my hands on him and back up to his eyes.

What were we? Were we boyfriend and girlfriend? Enemies who just ended up kissing? We never discussed it but I saw him as more than a friend of course.

Do I wait for him to ask me out or do I do it? I groaned at my mind for acting so dumb and bringing up all these questions. I'll give Aiden time and if he doesn't pop the question then I'll just ask him. I think girls should be allowed to ask boys out, I don't see the shitty difference.

I watched as his gaze lowered down to my lips and I wasn't ready. I felt like closing my legs tight together to keep a scream inside but when they were wrapped around his strong body it was impossible to even attempt.

I watched as his bottom lip rolled under his teeth, inside of his mouth.

Woah.

I felt my heart speed up at the next thing he did. His hands moved away from my wrists and clasped the lower part of my thighs, right near my knee. I felt his hands slowly go up as he kept his eyes on me. The tension in the room made butterflies form in my stomach and his touch was so electric I felt the need to close my eyes and lean my head back onto the kitchen wall that was placed above the counter.

His hands traveled further, the smooth feeling making my breathing go uneven.

I felt his hands stop at the bottom of my shorts, I bit my bottom lip when I felt his finger trace the outline of them.

"AIDEN DEAR!" a voice called.

I felt him jerk back and the feeling of his touch leaving my legs made the coldness come back to me. I hopped off the counter, facing towards the kitchen wall and placing my hands on the edge of the counter, still catching my breaths.

My back was turned to Aiden and I couldn't tell what he was doing but I heard the kitchen door open and I closed my eyes shut tightly.

Shit.

"Aiden- Oh hi, Heaven. Aiden I need you to get me the foot cream from upstairs I'm starting to get a rash and I can't reach the top cabinet. Your father tried it but he just ended up hurting his back." the woman announced. I could already tell by the tone of joy in her voice it was Welma. She was the only woman who could wake up at 6 am and still have a bright smile on her face.

I smiled at the fact that she came in here for foot ointment.

I heard Aiden clear his voice and I bit my lip as hard as I can attempting not to laugh. I felt the small taste of blood from my tight grip on my lip collide with my tongue.

"Yeah mom I'll be there in a minute," he said and I heard her footsteps as she left the kitchen.

I let go of my bottom lip and shook my head slowly still having my back faced to Aiden.

I felt his presence come behind me and the feeling of his chest behind my back made me laugh for some reason.

"Your lucky she came in," he said slowly, his lips brushing by the tip of my ear. I shivered at his warm breath that sent goosebumps through my whole body, starting at my ears.

I kept quiet waiting for what his next words were going to be.

I felt his hands clasp my wrists on both sides, slowly rubbing up and down my arms. I felt the feeling of one of his hands let loose to tilt my head to the side a little. The feeling of not seeing his face made me wince but the feeling of his touch made up for it.

"I was about to do so many things," he whispered lowly and I felt his lips clasp the upper part of my ear before he tugged it lightly with his teeth. I let out a soft gasp at the sudden affections he was making.

His lips grazed the side of my neck until it landed on what he now knew was my sensitive spot. I felt his tongue slightly brush the area, I bit my lip and rolled my eyes up feeling my knees go weak. I gripped the edge of the counter tighter, trying my best to hold myself up while Aiden was taking every breath I had left.

I felt him place slow soft kisses before removing his lips from my neck.

I turned around to him with a frown that he stopped so soon and a grin lifted upon his face.

"Sorry, mom needs the foot cream," he told me before winking and walking off backward, keeping his eyes on my craving ones. He knew I wanted that hot moment to continue. He knew what he did to me.

I flipped him off and he chuckled before leaving the kitchen. I huffed and turned around to the late of pancakes I had prepared earlier. I picked one of the medium size pancakes up with my hand and took an unsatisfied bite out of it as I slouched.

Did he really have to kiss that part of my neck?

The sound of a buzz went off and I let my eyes roam over to my phone that was placed on the island. I set the pancake down on the plate and turned around, reaching towards the island and grabbing my phone.

"Well if isn't the girl who's ditching me," I joked as I placed the phone to my ear and hopped back onto the counter.

It's fine, I'm wiping the counter with Clorox anyway.

I heard her groan from the other side of the phone, "I hate this. I've spent the best time here and now I have to just leave. Save me Heaven." she whined.

I laughed while swinging my legs back and forth, "I already asked your mom. She said no." I explained to her as I picked the pancake up again and took another bite.

The well-cooked store-bought batter satisfied my mouth and I decided to eat the whole thing.

"My mom's a bitch." she groaned.

"She's also the woman that raised you," I announced.

"I know but sometimes she's just extra ya know?" she replied.

"Mhm," I said nodding my head.

Layla's mom was forcing her to go back home since she found out that I was staying with three boys. She then even tried to call my mom and explain to me how her keeping me in a lake house with three boys would somehow make me grow up and become a whore.

She was a bitch, but she was doing it to protect Layla. I just don't see why she needs to bring my name up.

I didn't tell Layla about it since I knew she would flip and do this whole dramatic thing where she would explain to me that she was going to confront her mom, which she usually did, and then explain to her why her mom was irritating.

"I'll see you tonight, yeah?" she asked as I heard her shuffle. Most likely packing.

"Yup." I muffled while chewing an excessive amount of pancake. We said our goodbyes and hung up.

After a while, I was washing the dishes I had used and wondered where Aiden had gone. I wiped down all the counters with Clorox wipes and dried them off with paper towels.

After finishing up I walked out of the kitchen to see Gabe sitting on the couch, tapping his fingers like a drum on the cushion.

He was wearing an oversized white hoodie, his black skinny jeans were holding tightly onto him and his brown curls were as curly as always. He seemed nervous and the way he was breathing seemed as if he was trying to calm down.

I eyed him curiously and walked over to him, "You good?" I asked him as I tapped my fingers on my thighs.

He jerked up at my voice and looked at me wide-eyed making me worried as he stood up and walked towards me

"Where's Aiden?" Gabe asked hurriedly.

"I don't know, he was getting his mom some foot ointment but I haven't-"

"FUCKING DANIEL!" he yelled as he stood up and rushed his hands through his curls, tugging and twirling them around his forefinger. I watched as he paced the room.

"Gabe, what the fuck is going on?" I asked him frightened as I stood up from the couch I was seated on.

His brown eyes glanced over to me and I watched the fear in them.

"Daniel took Aiden," he said before continuing pacing back and forth and pulling out his phone.

"What? No Aiden was just-" I started pointing upstairs before he interrupted me.

"About how long ago did you see him, Heaven," he said while stopping his pacing and boring his eyes into mine.

"25 minutes ago...maybe...ugh, I don't know," I winced while tugging at my curls aggressively.

He scoffed and threw his hands up, "Well that's enough time for Daniel." he murmured as he rubbed his eyelids fiercely.

I placed both of my foreigners on each side of my temple,  "I'm confused, what the hell is going on Gabe?"

I felt the feeling of my heart sink. Was Aiden in trouble? It was impossible, right? I mean, I saw him a while ago. I didn't hear any noise upstairs or from the door but then again, I was talking to Layla.

"Mason," he said shortly as he started pacing across the living room floor aggressively. His hands were fiddling with his hoodie and I just wanted to know what the hell was going on.

"Mason?" I ask confused as I cross my arms, "What about him?"

Gabe stopped and stared at me, his brown eyes seemed to shoot a sense of fear.

"Mason is going to the ring today," he said nervously.

"The ring?" I asked confused, "Okay, bud this shit..." I said waving my hands around the room, " isn't making any sense."

He groaned loudly and placed his head in his hands.

"Aiden's going to kill me for this," he murmured. He sighed and looked back up biting his bottom lip nervously, "Aiden does boxing when he gets mad and that's how he relieves his pain. That's where he gets all the bruises from and why he comes home looking like he just got high for seven hours. I heard one of my buds from here tell me that Mason is going to the ring today because he heard Aiden is. And well that's not good..."

I looked at him shocked. I felt the urge to yank my curls out of my head knowing that Aiden and I had agreed to tell each other everything that day. I told him about my life's biggest secret and even though the one he kept probably didn't seem that big to him, it was big for me.

"Okay, why is it bad if Aiden and Mason fight?" I asked Gabe as I watched him slick back his bushy eyebrows with his forefinger.

"Because we know," he said with a smirk. The nervousness leaving his eyes, forcing them to be playful.

I felt my throat clog up remembering Aiden and I said we wouldn't tell anyone.

"What are you talking about?" I asked narrowing my eyes at him.

"I mean that you should keep your moans a little quieter. Did I tell you my walls are like paper?" he told me teasingly.

I felt my face redden and I bit my bottom lip aggressively recalling the fact that whatever we did back there they heard and said nothing about. I couldn't keep my eyes on him so I dropped them down to my shoes.

"Shut the fuck up, Gabe," I murmured embarrassingly.

"Ou someone has a grumble to her rumble," he giggled.

I tilted my head up from the ground to look at him with narrowed eyes.

"It doesn't matter anyway. Mason doesn't care," I said as I walked over to the couch and took a seat since my legs started to become tired.

Gabe started tugging at his curls and sat on the couch across from me, "Well that's not how he explained it," he said nervously.

"Okay, Gabe can we just get to the point here and stop using those leading on sentences just to stop and watch my reaction. Just tell me what the hell happened." I said nervously.

"Party pooper," he murmured rolling his eyes, "as your father I do NOT allow you to speak to me-"

"GABE!" I yelled angrily.

He held his hands up defensively, "Hey, hey, hey, calm down I just work here."

I raised a brow at him and he chuckled before turning nervous again.

"Mason said hes gonna go because hes mad about Aiden kissing you. About him taking him from you after your date." Gabe finally announced.

"But Mason is..." I started before cutting myself off remembering he didn't want to tell anyone.

"Gay?" Gabe asked with a deadpan look.

"Whatttt nooo, pft who told you that?" I asked him and froze when I realized my voice was going high.

"Mason. Well, he kind of told me that hes not gay and announced it to you since he didn't want to feel like you hated that date with him," he said while leaning back, his hoodie slightly wrinkling.

I froze and felt fire raise up in my throat and my lungs slowly collapse near my organs.

"He lied?" I whispered, "HE LIED ABOUT BEING GAY? DOES HE KNOW HOW FUCKED UP THAT IS? DOES HE NOT REALIZE HOW THERE ARE ACTUAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE STRUGGLED WITH ADMITTING THEIR SEXUALITY BECAUSE OF THESE HOMOPHOBIC PEOPLE!" I yelled angrily as I stood up and paced back and forth, fiddling with my rings.

"Yeah, yeah I do know," Gabe replied recalling all the deaths of innocent people who are affectionate to their own genders.

"Im going to kill him," I muttered.

"No, because hes planning on killing your boyfriend first," Gabe said while standing up and walking over towards me, the dimple on his right cheek
