Sakura exhaled heavily. Her energy was being drained from using so much of her healing ability. Her heart and soul was poured into the process. Orochimaru's wounds were severe, she remembered, vividly. She knew she wasn't in the right mindset. She knew for a fact that she was wrong. Her heart told her this. She was very wrong for doing this to her friends. She wanted to kill Orochimaru and say to Naruto that she was sorry. She wanted to say that even though she loves Sasuke, she would never make him hers by breaking the two apart. She also knew how Ino felt inside. She knew that Ino loved Sasuke too. Her love for Sasuke, though, was different. Ino, as much as she wanted to she couldn't imagine life without Sasuke even though Ino had soon realized that side was her true confident. Sakura even remembered her speaking about Naruko and that she hoped that she, Naruko, would find her confident.
To Sakura's surprise, Naruko did. She had found Sasuke. A demon who betrayed his clan. It was rumored that he had murdered his clan but it wasn't him. It was also rumored that two Uchiha had become treacherous and betrayed the clan. That wasn't the case either. It was someone different that had betrayed the clan as well. His name was Madara Uchiha, Sasuke and Itachi's great uncle. Sakura remembered the Uchiha clan being powerful. She remembered that they had an alliance with the clan before the ambush was to be taken place. Under Naruko's father, Madara Uchiha was his advisor. However, when it was said that Madara was to be replaced by Sasuke's father whom was Madara's nephew, that was when the clan was murdered. The only ones left alive were Itachi and Sasuke.
Everyone was young back then. No one had control of their full powers. It was two and a half years later that Naruko and Sakura met. She was always mean to her but it soon grew to be a special friendship especially when Sasuke came into the picture.

Sakura walked down the hall dressed in a red ball gown. Her hair tied into a messy bun with braids circling it. Bits of her hair stuck up but it was okay because that was the style she liked. She walked down the halls searching each room for Naruko because her father was ready to dance with her. "Lady Naruko!" She cried. "Lady Naru..." Sakura's eyes widened at what she saw in the very room she found them in. Lord Madara's nephew? Sakura thought to herself questionably. Why is she dancing with Sasuke? That was supposed to be mine. Sakura frowned thinking this. It wasn't that she wasn't happy for Naruko, it was just that she was thinking the same thing. She wanted to grow a demon rose that attracted a demon to find her confidant. Instead all it was good for was for making an antidote. In her hair, the rose was tucked behind her ear. She had taken the thorns off. But as she took out to see if it would glow, it didn't. Instead it withered away, it's petals falling to the ground one by one.
A tear fell down Sakura's cheek. Sakura hid behind the door, quickly activating her mental shield. Her heart ached as her chest heaved heavily. I... I feel like crying, She thought, frowning deeply. She dropped the stem of the withered rose and was tempted to leave. She remembered, however, that she had to tell Naruko that her father required her attention. She knocked on the door, catching the attention of Naruko and the demon next to her. "Lady Naruko, your father has requested a dance." Sakura said. Naruko smiled brightly.
"Alright, would you like to dance with me next Sasuke?" Naruko asked. Sakura watched as the demon gave the blonde girl a genuine smile. Her eyes widened at the emotions that shines in his eyes. He's in love with her... She thought. Sakura sighed deeply as she followed behind Naruko and Sasuke. She couldn't help but feel very jealous of Naruko. How could she get a demon to fall for her with a rose? Was the demon truly her confidant? Sakura felt jealousy nudge at her. It was nothing more than a mere coincidence that Naruko could get a demon to fall for her unless this was love from the beginning. Sakura shook her head. I need to stop thinking about it... She thought. Naruko is my friend I should be happy not jealous. Sakura sighed as she walked toward the extravagant ball room where people were dancing and eating and drinking.

Sakura remembered everything up to Naruko's tragedy. The tragedy of the two lovers. Naruto didn't remember Sakura. He just knew her as a girl with short pink hair. She had only cut her hair because times had changed. Jealousy nudged her again, only this time it was Naruto that she was jealous of and how Sasuke was still in love with the blonde. She shook her head, focusing more of her powers on Orochimaru. Though she wondered if there was away to kill him again. Could she do it? Probably not. Naruto could if he had all his powers back. She knew he had only gained some of them.
Sakura jumped when she heard yelling and paused the healing process. "What's going on here?" She asked. Sakura gasped when she met blue orbs. "Naruto? What are you doing here?"
"What do you think, traitor, I was captured." Naruto replied coldly. Sakura crossed her arms. She refused to be disrespected.
"That's right, I had made a deal with Kabuto that if he had captured you I could have Sasuke." Sakura smirked. "Looks like I win." Naruto's eyes widened. His heart fluttered with butterflies in his stomach at the mention of Sasuke. He wished he could remember everything from start to finish about this people but it was no use. Nothing was going to help.
"Sa-Saku..." Oh no! I can't speak! Naruto though, frantic. He looked up at Sakura who stared coldly at Naruto. What is going on? Sakura!

Sasuke paced back and forth, arms crossed, feeling incredibly anxious. It annoyed Gaara as he watched the demon pace. "Will you please stop pacing, Uchiha!" Gaara growled. Sasuke stopped in the middle of his pacing, his sharingan activated. Gaara glared at Sasuke who glared at him back. Both were affected by Naruto's capture. It was only understandable that they both be annoyed.
"You two need to knock it off this instant. I understand that you two feel helpless because Naruto has been capture but there's no need for petty fights." Kakashi spoke up. Sasuke and Gaara glared at the silver haired man.
"Fuck off, Kakashi," Gaara growled. "You know nothing!" Kakashi shook his head. He knew plenty of Naruko's reincarnation. He knew of the past that Sasuke shared with Naruto. The past that was forgotten by Naruto. He knew of Gaara's past. The love that he felt for Naruto and Naruko both as a person and in the present as well as now in the present. Kakashi crossed his arms, a smirk underneath his mask.
"I know nothing huh?" Kakashi mumbled. "I'm well aware of the feelings you both share for Naruto. I'm aware that he doesn't remember any of us and that he needs time to remember. In other words, I'm very much aware of the situation when it comes to this matter." He continued to explain. Sasuke and Gaara shared a glance. They stared into each other's eyes for a few minutes and bot before long Gaara tore away. Sasuke is in love with Naruto? No. Gaara thought. Sasuke is in love with Naruko. He convinced himself. Even though he was probably right in the fact that Sasuke was in love with Naruto. There was no reason to jealous of something stupid such as love. I would die for Naruto, because he's my best friend... and I love him. Gaara thought.

"One, two, three, one, two, three... Very good, Naruko," Gaara commented as he spun the girl around. Naruko blushed, a small smile on her face. "Your father will be very proud of you, princess." Naruko smiled again. She chuckled.
"Thank you, Gaara, but you don't have to call me 'princess'." Gaara blinked meeting Naruko's shining blue eyes.
"Oh? Why not?"
"Because I'm merely your equal as a slayer." Naruko explained. "I am Princess Naruko when needed but when it comes to demon slaying I am your equal. This celebration is merely about our victory of finally killing that monster Madara Uchiha of the Uchiha clan." Gaara nodded slowly. We may have killed Madara Uchiha of the demon clan but we didn't kill them all. "Some of them are good though," Naruko whispered.
"What?" Gaara asked.
"Some of the people of that clan... They're good."
"What do you mean? Don't you know what these people are capable of. There's Itachi Uchiha whom can erased the minds of people he's fought!"
"Don't tell me that!" Naruko cried. "Big brother has said that his love was of the Uchiha clan. He... He gave him the demon rose and they managed to be compatible with each other. They fell in love and they stayed together. His lover was announced as a betrayer of the Uchiha clan." Naruko smiled confidently. Her heart was pure of gold.
"Hey Gaara, if I give someone my rose when it grows will I find my confidant?" Gaara didn't know how to answer this. He knew she didn't know of his feelings. Gaara wished he could tell her but she only thought of him as a comrade rather than something more. I'm only a comrade... Gaara thought as he twirled the girl once more.
"Maybe you will find your true love, Naruko, maybe..." Gaara whispered softly. Naruko hummed a soft tune.
"The stars shining bright, shining glowing beside the moons white light. As we dance together, our hearts unite. We will share unique dreams, the beauty that we share beyond compare..." Naruko sang, making Gaara smile.
"That's the song you sing once the rose is planted." Naruko grinned. "Maybe my confidant will come now since we planted the rose already." Gaara sighed. His friend was too far gone in love. Too far gone in wanting to find her true love. Gaara looked up, stepping back quickly. He pulled Naruko behind her causing her to gasp.
"G-Gaara, what's wrong?" Naruko asked. She looked over his shoulder and saw the familiar face of her father's adviser's nephew. Is he my... She looked at the rose, it didn't even take the time to really grow but it still began to grew quite quickly. "Gaara," Naruko said softly. "It's all right. He's a friend." She smiled as she began to walk toward the demon. "Excuse me are you..." Her eyes widened as a gasp escaped her throat. The boy fell to the ground blood pooling all over. Oh no! He's injured! She realized. I have to help him. She dropped down to the floor and decided to use her healing ability to help him. As she did so she told Gaara to scout the area. As soon as the boy was healed and Gaara had come back, Naruko sat him up a little bit.
"Hey, can you hear me? Are you alright?" Naruko questioned. The boy's eyes opened slightly, meeting Naruko's blue orbs. He groaned, his head pounding. "S-Sasu..."
"Lady Naruko, I see your the one who planted the rose and sung that song." Naruko blushed.
"Y-You heard me?"
"Yes, it was beautiful, but we must get you out of the castle it's being attacked." Naruko blinked. Attacked?

"What do you mean it's being atta--" Naruko was pulled away from the falling ceiling. Naruko's eyes widened in shock. Oh no! "Sasuke, what happened to you?" Naruko inquired.
Gaara stared at the raven haired boy. He wanted to know his name. "May I ask what is your name?"
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. My uncle Madara killed my family and left my brother and I alive. He plans to kill the royal family now." Naruko's heart jumped at this. No! Father! Kyuubi! Sasuke shook as the pain rushed through him. "I was caught in the crossfire. I managed to get out alive. My only goal was to get to you Princess."
"Sasuke..." Naruko's voice cracked. "You wanted to save me. You wanted to save everybody but under my father's orders you... You were to help Gaara save me." Sasuke nodded.
"No! I won't leave! I love you too much to see you get hurt. Gaara please take Sasuke away from the castle."
"But Naruko-"
"Do it!"
Naruko turned around and started ripping her dress later by layer. Gaara gasped, his face turning beat red. Sasuke merely closed his eyes, a tiny tint of pink staining his cheeks. Naruko grinned. "Now that's that done, I'll be going now. I expect you two to be out of the castle in five minutes. Got that?"
"Y-Yes, but Naruko I-"
"Got that?" Naruko repeated.
"Yes!" Gaara replied, grabbing Sasuke's arm and putting it over his shoulder. He transported outside the castle. He sighed.
"She's one interesting woman." Sasuke said. Gaara frowned glaring at him. He scowled and turned away.
"Whatever."

"Gaara?" Ino called. "Are you okay?"
She stared at the boy with worry in her eyes.
The red haired teen sighed, shaking his head. "I just want to save Naruto already. I know he needs help. I can feel it." Ino smiled softly.
"Naruto is lucky to have you as his friend. He's lucky to have Sasuke as a lover. If he remembers." Ino said. "I'm sure we'll come for him soon. I suspect that tonight is the very night we're going to do this." Gaara met Ino's eyes. He gripped his cup of tea tightly.
I hope so... Gaara thought. I hope so.
