"Mum?"

I asked again, attempting to sit up off of the bench. I only just realised how much blood was pooled around me.

"What happened Marcus?" I asked, lightly shaking my hands free of the red liquid.

"You-" Marcus began to speak, but my mother cut him off. Remembering that she was in the room, I stared at her with many unanswered questions running through my head.

"It's a long story, why don't we talk about it later." She said, walking up to me as the nurse handed her a blanket. "But for now, you need to rest up my dear."

I lay back down onto the cold metal bench as my mother pulled a warm blanket from my feet up to my neck. I must have been pretty tired for the fact that I could barley keep my eyes open. Darkness slowly clouded my vision once again, but this time, the darkness was comfortable, not eerie and unwelcoming.

Marcus POV

"You really love her, don't you?" [y/n]'s mum said as we left the infirmary.

"Yes. I do." I responded. Everything that we'd been through, it has made me realise just how much I love [y/n]. I was so afraid to lose her, I thought I'd go crazy if she were to die. The voice inside my head was cut short when I was asked yet another question.

"Are you going to stay with her?" She asked.

"Yes, why wouldn't I?" This woman is getting a little to close. To be honest, I still don't trust her. Especially since she rocked up out of nowhere. And why is she asking all these questions?

"Why do you love her?" she asked.

"What is with all the questions?" I raised my voice, finally confronting her. [y/n]'s mother took a step closer to me and grabbed my shoulders, a scowl growing upon her face.

"Because you stupid boy, I'm just surprised that you would love her, considering she killed a man in cold blood. She showed no mercy what so ever. She did it for sport. She killed him at the end of the bridge when she went to check for a boat, leaving you and Regan at the train station."

The silence grew thick and was almost unbearable.

"What?" I asked, my voice barley audible.

"You heard me." The woman laughed like a manic.

Her words replayed in my head, until something clicked.

"How do you know that we were at the train station when you weren't even with us? I asked, taking a few steps away from her, closer to the camp fire where others were.

"I know everything about your little journey to 'save' the world" she grinned before continuing. "I only know everything because of her father of course.. the king of hell.. ruler of demons.. see your little girlfriend, is half devil half angle, queen of the Death Angels. You couldn't possibly love that thing, could you?" She asked, pointing a finger towards the infirmary.

I look at the infirmary, my eyes widened. Half Devil, half Angel..

"It doesn't matter who, or what she is. She is still [y/n] to me and I will still love her. Now you listen to me, you can't just show up out of no where and try to tear us apart. I don't know why your doing it, but I know you are. So here's your warning, either get off the island, or stay away from [y/n] and my family. Or so help me, I will do everything in my power to get rid of you." I yelled at her with rage flowing through my body.

"You. Are. Nothing to her." She said, clearly trying to sound intimidating.

"We'll see."

And with that, I walked away from her and towards everyone else at the camp fire. Whatever that woman's deal is, I will find out. It's not like I didn't know about [y/n]'s powers.. it's just.. Half Devil Half Angel is difficult to wrap your head around..

AU- as you can see, I am not dead. And yes this chapter is short, but it is the little boost of motivation to keep my promise to all of you!! I hope you forgive me for taking a really dramatic break..
