The next few minutes were nothing but torture. I tried my best to keep Marcus on his feet, but he was growing weaker by the second. As we silently trudged across the factory floor, the Death Angels crept along the foundation. Their ears were opened, waiting for any small sound to set them hurdling in our direction.

Just as we rounded a near corner, a tough hand wrapped around my mouth, preventing me from making any noise. I held Marcus close as the man studied me. -- I don't know why but, he seemed awfully familiar -- I stared at the man, a mixture of fear and curiosity scrambling my brain. I felt Marcus slip from my grip as he fell to the floor with an audible thump. I visibly cringed at the perfect timing of the situation as I crouched down to lift him back up. No-one dared to move a muscle, not even the baby - which was surprising.

The echo of Marcus collapsing instantly alarmed the two Death Angels as they raced towards us at a rapid pace.

If there was ever a chance to tempt fate, it was probably now.

Here goes nothing.

I stood from my position, turning to the creatures that we're still scampering towards us. With one swift movement, I out stretched my arm and pointed to the ground.

" S i t "

As soon as that word left my mouth, they came to a halt and dropped to the ground, only a few inches Infront of me. If I'm being honest, they looked like really really deformed dogs when they sat.

"Damn, I could get used to this." I said, turning to the group.

Evelyn and Lee didn't look at all phased by what had happened, instead they took to Marcus's side and brought him to his feet. The man however, stood with his mouth hung open and his eyes wide.

"But.. but how?" He signed, still staring at the aliens with disbelief.

"I don't know, it just came to me in a dream. Literally." I replied. Shrugging my shoulders.

The man slowly approached the creatures, removing his bandana from around his face. He studied them before hesitantly poking one in the face.

"I don't recommend touching them." I said, turning to the man. He quickly pulled his hand away and looked me in the eyes.

It was at that moment, I knew exactly who he was.

"E-emmett?" I croaked, my throat beginning to burn.

"[y/n]." He replied, looking down to the ground. His voice was full of guilt, but why? That didn't matter to me at the moment. My eyes lit up with excitement when he held his arms open, offering a hug. I wasted no time in running full speed at him. Tackling him with the biggest hug I could.

"Oh I missed you I missed you I missed you!! So much!!" I cried, letting tears of joy fall from my eyes.

"Same kid, same." He said, smiling down at me.

Lee turned to face his old friend, in complete shock that he was still alive. I traded places with Lee, allowing them to have their little bro hug while I helped Marcus stand properly.

"How are you feeling Marcus?" I asked, worried about his injuries.

"I'm feeling like I'm gonna need another kiss, from youuu-" Marcus slurred his words and trailed off from his sentence. I could tell he was half out of it from the loss of blood. I looked at Evelyn to see a mischievous grin spread across her face.

"Another kiss he says?" She joked, taking the baby from Regan's arms

"Shut, up." I grunted, trying to carry all of Marcus's weight on one side.

Regan seemed to understand that I was struggling to hold him up so she rushed over to help me.

"Emmett, do you have anywhere we can let Marcus rest?" I asked.

"Yeah, but what about them?" He pointed to the Death Angels.

"Leave, and stay far from here." I mumbled to the creatures.

Without a second thought, they jumped to their feet and made their way out of the factory. I swear I even heard one of them whining to the other. I shifted my strength to helping Marcus walk as we made our way to a large section of the building.

"This is where I stay." Emmett said, jumping through a giant hole in the floor.

"You mean, we have to jump to get down?" Evelyn asked, unsure about the safety of the sand bags at the bottom. Emmett just nodded his head yes as he looked up to us from his hideout.

One by one, everyone carefully made their way down to the lower floor. It was just Marcus and I standing in the open now. I pulled Marcus's face to look at me with my spare hand and started to speak.

"Marcus, I'm going to need you to jump for me, there are sand ba-" I was cut of before I could finish.

"Anything for you [y/n]." He slurred, before falling backwards into the hole and onto the sand bags.

I peeked my head over the edge and saw the group staring at me with mixed expressions on their faces.

"His words, not mine." I said before jumping down into the pile of bags. It did hurt a bit but it was pretty safe.

Emmett helped me to my feet. I brushed my hands over my butt, dusting any dirt off of my trousers. I looked up to thank him for his help but when I saw the smirk plastered on his face, I didn't say anything.

"That boy is real crazy for y-"

"Don't, don't even say it. I get enough of that from Evelyn as it is." I said, cutting him off.

He was about to open his mouth again, however Marcus interrupted him.

"Hey [y/n], can I get that second kiss yet?" He mumbled before passing out on the bed. Everyone was holding back laughs as I tried my best not to blush from embarrassment.

That damn boy, he's lucky I love him.
