As soon as Logan opened the door I saw him raise a baseball bat to swing it at me. I freaked out. I jumped back and put my arms up to defend myself. Not that my arms are any match for a baseball bat.

"Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah" I shouted as he froze where he stood. "Put down the bat Jackie Robinson" I lowered my hands and Logan lowered the baseball bat. He then laid the bat against the wall beside the door.

He stood there in a towel dripping wet. His hair was damp and tousled and water dripped down his defined body. I knew he had abs. There was a small round scar on the right side of his abdomen. I wonder how he got that. He looked down trying to hide the smile that tugged at his lips and the faint blush that appeared on his face when he realized he was standing in front of me half naked.

"Dude, what the hell?" I voiced with concern. He looked back up at me trying to find an answer.

"Believe it or not I don't usually get teenage girls showing up at my house late at night" He answered with an obvious fake smile and raised his eyebrows.

"Well I haven't seen you in two days and you haven't been answering your phone so what else was I supposed to do?"

"Maybe try taking a hint?" Logan shot back at me. "Can you either finish what you need to say inside or just go home cause I don't have a shirt on if you haven't noticed and I'm getting cold" he added with annoyed tone.

"Trust me, I noticed" I mumbled under my breath while walking inside his house. I closed the door behind me and turned to face Logan.

"What?" he must not have heard what I said. Thank God.

"Nothing" I lied and waited for him to say something.

"I'm going to change into some clothes, I don't know if you want to wait here or not"

"Uh, yeah sure I'll wait here" I responded. He gave me a quick nod and walked up the stairs to go change. I walked over the living room to sit on the couch, but something more interesting caught my eye. There was a wooden shelf against a wall with some books and pictures in pictures frames. I walked over to the shelf to look at the pictures. There was one that stood out to me; it was what I'm assuming to be a family standing together on a lawn in front of a house. I'm guessing it was a mom and a dad along with their son and daughter. The daughter was younger than the little boy in the photo, he looked a lot like Logan. Maybe it was him. My thoughts were interrupted by Logan.

"What the hell are you doing?" Logan looked panicked. He walked towards me pulling his hoodie over his head.

"I was just looking at the pictures you had on your--"

"Yeah well don't, they should even be up anyway" he interrupted me while flipping the picture frame face down on the shelf. He was being a total jackass.

"You know what never mind, it's not worth it, I shouldn't have come over" I stated feeling a little disappointment and turned around to leave. I felt his wrist grab mine and I turned around.

"You obviously came here for a reason, so just say what you need to say"

"Well, I was going to say that I'm sorry. I'm sorry for hurting you and even thinking for a second what Nate said could be true. I know that it's not. It's just Nate knows me so well, he knows how to get inside my head and make me think things and I messed up, I know that. And you're right, I hurt people too, and you made me realize it. I just don't like thinking that it's a part of life, I'm naive sometimes and I don't like thinking about that. I don't like being hurt, I don't like other people getting hurt, and I sure as hell don't like not being friends with you" my vision blurred. I hated how I got emotional over the dumbest things like apologizing. I didn't care if I was better off not being his friend. I felt like I needed him or something, I can't explain it.

"I just thought we trusted each other Stella, I promised I'd never hurt you, and for you to think I would after Nate spit out some bullshit about me treating you like he did, I'm not gonna lie, it hurt. And all that stuff I said about you hurting people, I didn't mean any of it, I was just mad at you and that's what came out of my mouth, I'm sorry for that, but if we're ever going to be friends again, I'll never know if you can actually trust me or if I can trust you, I just don't see how it'll work now" my heart dropped when his words sunk in and then I felt a tear falling, but wiped it before it slid down my cheek.

"Logan I'm not crying for no reason okay? I need you to know that I trust you, probably more than anyone, and it's weird because we just met, but I never trust anyone so that's saying something. I can't explain it, but I know I need you in my life anyway I can get you in it. The past two days, it felt like there was something missing. Please just... I need you. And if you don't know me well enough by now, I'll stay here all night until you say yes, so you might as well forgive me right now" I chuckled as another tear slipped out of my eye.

"Dammit Jones" Logan walked quickly towards me and wiped the tear falling down my face. He looked down at me and smiled. I just wrapped my arms around him bringing him in a tight hug and he hugged me back even tighter. He kissed the top of my head and then rested his head on mine. He smelled really good, I don't know how to describe it, but I couldn't stop breathing in.

"You smell really good" I complimented him with my face squished up against his chest.

"So do you Jones" he replied with his face squished against the top of my head. I smiled against his body. I got him back and I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I'm just glad I got my friend back. I wanted to know why he freaked out about the picture, but I really didn't want to ruin the moment. I pulled away from him and he did the same.

"I really am so sorry, I feel so bad for what I said and did, and I just wanted to you to know that, and I'll never doubt you again, and I missed you so much, I will never listen to anything--"

"Jones" he laughed after he interrupted by babbling. "You don't have to say anything, I can't stay mad at you. And I missed you too" he smiled at me and I smiled back.

"So where's your mom?" I asked him looking around.

"She's usually never here, she travels a lot for work" he sat down on the couch with a disappointed look on his face.

"So you're always here by yourself?"

"Pretty much yeah" he nodded slowly. "But I don't mind, you don't have to feel bad for me or anything"

"Well I do feel bad, you're here alone" I sat down beside him.

"Not always" he winked implying he had girls here sometimes.

"Okay gross" I shot back with a disgusted look on my face.

"Relax Jones, I'm kidding" he laughed as I took a deep breath out in relief as a response.

"Are you coming to school tomorrow?" I asked while putting my legs over his.

"I mean I guess my friend is gonna be there, so I'll probably find away to... make my presence known" he shrugged at me while resting his arms on my legs and then smiled. "What time do you have to be home?" he added

"I told my mom midnight"

"What the hell were you planning on doing, kidnapping me too?" Logan raised his eyebrows with a shocked expression on his face.

"If that's what it took, then yes, but I didn't know how long it was going to take for you to forgive me so I gave myself a few hours"

"So you don't have to be home for another" he stopped to check the time on his phone. "Hour and a half?"

"Yeah, why?" a smirk appeared on his face at my question. "Logan? What are you going to do?"

"What are we going to do is the question" he response made me nervous.

"What are you talking about?" I furrowed my brows together in confusion.

"Put your shoes on, I'm taking you somewhere" he answered quickly getting up off the couch.

"Okay, where are we going?"

"I'm not telling you, just get your shoes on" He went to get his shoes on and I followed him. He didn't tell me anything, we just went outside and he shut and locked the door behind us. Logan opened his car door on the passenger's side for me and closed it after I got in, then he ran around the front of the car and got in on his side.

"This is kinda scaring me, just letting you know"

"Oh come on Jones" he looked over at me. "Trust me" he added with a wink. I rolled my eyes and smiled in response. He started his car and pulled out of the driveway to drive wherever he was taking us. I don't like surprises, so this was torture basically. I turned up the radio and we sang to every song at the top of our lungs the whole time he was driving to whatever mysterious place he was planning on taking me. He wasn't one of those guys that listened to rap or hip hop all the time to seem cool. He knew all the words to old songs, that's something that I liked about him, and it helped that he was a good singer.

"A cafe? You brought me to a cafe?" I was puzzled. He got excited over this. We got out of the car and shut our doors. He walked over to me and put his arm around me.

"I sure did Jones" he replied smiling back at me. Logan looked liked he couldn't wait to walk inside for some odd reason. He opened the door to the cafe and I stood there taking in the atmosphere.

It was a room with dimmed lighting and old records and posters placed on the walls. There was a small stage in the corner and people were playing live music. How come I've never been here before? Logan and I found an empty table and we sat down on the wooden chairs. This place was so amazing.

"So what do you think?" he looked towards me and rested his face on the calm of his hand.

"I think this place is amazing" I voiced with excitement still looking around the room. A waitress came over to us and asked us if we wanted anything, Logan got coffee and I just got water. We watched people cover songs on the stage. I love live music; there's something about it that just makes me happy. After the couple was done singing one of the waitress went up on stage.

"Open mic night is almost over and we still have some empty slots if anyone wants to come up on stage" she announced into the mic. I looked around, but nobody said anything.

"She does!" I recognized Logan's voice and looked over at him. My eyes widened and I started to panic when I realized he was pointing at me.
