Tristan was smiling as he was dancing with Vienna. It felt so liberating to be himself. When he was with Vienna now he didnt have to hide his feelings anomore and he had Vienna's father's blessings to date her. He was cherishing every minute. He knew after the weekend he had to go on a business trip and wasnt going to see Vienna for a while. It was hard to predict when he was going to get back. He hoped he got back for the prom.

Just then Tristan frowned as the song finished. It was now time for a break again. Just then as though letting go of Vienna's hand and finishing his dance wasnt enough, he saw his mother walking towards them. Tristan whispered "Here comes my mother... Dont let her upset you..."

Sancia Giovanni approached them "Vienna... You look stunning sweetie..."

Vienna smiled politely "Thank you.. aunt Sancia..." It was outside school so she didnt need to address her as Dr O'Neil or Dr Giovanni.

Sancia offered Vienna a nice bag "Here is a present I got you darling. I hope you like it..."

Vienna took the bag and smiled "Thank you aunt Sancia..." She then proceeded to look inside the bag. There was a wrapped box inside the bag. She took it out and Tristan offered "Let me hold the bag and wrappings for you.

Sancia was looking at Vienna the whole time and it worried Tristan. He didnt like his mother's attention to be on Vienna. His mother was going to be with Vienna alone at times when he went on the trip and he was hoping Vienna didnt witness her vengeful side which was hardest to endure. But again as long as Francesco Rosario was alive Tristan was certain his mother could do nothing to Vienna. His mother didnt dare. Also for many reasons his mother liked Vienna.

Vienna opened the box and gasped "Wow.. Thank you.. This is lovely.."

It was a scarf with gold and diamonds attached to it. It was a formal scarf too that she could use in a party around her neck....

Tristan sighed. When his father's mother had given Sancia a scarf once as gift, his mother had sarcastically been commenting that her mother in law had given her the hideous scarf hoping someone strangled her with it. It was a lovely scarf that his mother never wore... Now here she was giving a scarf to Vienna. Tristan didnt want her to wear the scarf. Then she could hide the pendant she was wearing that he had given her. He liked seeing her wear his pendant that has the O'Neil Crest symbol.

Vienna started wearing the scarf which made Sancia's eye sparkle. Sacnia smiled "I am glad you like it sweetie... You are like mother.... Everything I buy her fits her like a glove...."

Tristan wished his mother stopped pressuring Vienna. As he watched his mother walk away he whispered "You didnt have to wear this to make her happy..."

Vienna was surprised "I ddnt wear it to make her happy.. I like scarves... This scarf is beautiful.."

Tristan instinctively mutterd " No... You are the one who's beautiful..."

Vienna blushed and looked away "Ah.. I should go..." She then walked away.

Tristan followed her "Where are you going?"

Vienna spoke as she walked "I need to put my presents in my room... Lots of people have brought me things for some reason... It always happens when we have a party me and my siblings get gifts..." She then reached a corner of the room where there were so many wrapped gifts piled up on each other.

Tristan offered enthusiastically " I would help you carry them... to your room..." He was a "yes" away from achieving one of his biggest dreams. He had never been to Vienna's room before.

Vienna said "Oh... No.. That would be too much trouble... You are a guest at our home..."

Tristan spoke "Vienna .. I am not a stranger..."

Vienna sighed "Thank you..."

Tristan couldnt belive Vienna just gave in. He was s excited to pick up Vienna's gifts from the table. The walk to the mansion and her room was hardly afew meters but it was going to feel like the longest yards to take.

Tristan followed Vienna who took one box in her hand... One that Tristan had not spotted under the table... Vienna knew not to argue with Tristan. Those pair of strong arms could carry anything. She knew that much. She remembered once when Tristan had held her arms in his when he was holding her back on that day he was capturing Edward Blake in front of her. She felt his strength.. She felt his muscles. Her back even touched his rock hard chest. She knew he was so strong. She shuddered at the thought of her strength. She blushed at thinking about if he could lift her up in the air and how it felt to him if he did that. She weighed nothing compared to the weights she had seen him lift in the school's gym.

Tristan's heart was beating fast as he was walking behind her. He had waited for so long to be allowed in her room.

As Vienna walked up the stairs and down corridors to her room, Tristan's excitement was beyond his comprehension.

Vienna opened the door to her room and entered. She put the box in her hand on the bed and turned around " Put the boxes here please..." But she was surprised to see no sign of Tristan... she frowned and and walked outside. She saw Tristan standing in the corridor leaning to the wall with the gifts in his hand. Vienna asked " aren't you coming in..."

Tristan took a deep breath. He felt like he was about to walk into s sacred room. He felt like he was about to walk onto holy ground. He wasn't sure if he deserved it. Did she know how much it meant to him to walk in. He smiled " I can leave these in the living room for you if you want..." He was giving Vienna another option. If she didn't want him in her room now was the time to tell him.

Vienna was confused. Tristan made no sense " It's easier for me to put the presents in my wardrobe after I unwrap them this way.. I know from the packaging that most of them are clothing. Please bring them inside if you don't mind... I can carry them inside..."

Tristan chuckled " As if I would let you carry anything while I am around..." He then moved from the wall.. He walked to Vienna deciding to take up her offer. Vienna had no idea what it meant to him to enter her personal space. He didn't argue. Her invitation and assurance was all he needed.

As Vienna stepped aside to make room for him, Tristan walked in and took a deep breath as he inhaled the air inside her room and took in the moment. Did heaven have a gate. He was sure it did. He just walked through it. He felt at so much peace. He felt the calmness and feeling of safety that he got from nowhere else but the very ground he stood on.

Vienna told him " Thank you. Do you mind putting the gifts on my desk please or on the bed?"

Tristan replied " Hm, your desk would be better .." He then thought to himself " I will be sitting on your bed. Why put anything on it..."

Tristan then put the boxes on Vienna's desk and his eyes caught what was on her desk. He was going to make the most of this time to look at what she had in her room and to memorise what she loved. He was excited to be here and felt pure pleasure as he was inhaling the air she was breathing and taking in her perfume's scent that was mixed with the insanely lovely scent of roses that were in cases around her room.

Vienna asked " Thank you... Should we go back now?"

Tristan looked at the vase of roses on the floor " Just wait... Can we hang out a bit?" He turned to Vienna.

Vienna shrugged and say on her bed " Ok..."

Tristan then turned to the desk "... Do you like roses?... Those are nice roses there..."

Vienna replied " I do like roses... Those roses are from my father's floral designs branch ... We get sent flowers every week.... My roses are always freshly cut with boxes of cherry chocolate that I like..."

Tristan was trying to compose himself. He was outraged.. The floral shop was managed by Edward Blake's parents who also had a law firm working for Francesco Rosario... He never understood why they took interest in having a floral shop when they were making millions each year from their law firm... When he came to think of it, Edward Blake was the one coming up with the shop's business model. It was his business project that his parents allowed him to continue.

Tristan had to be sure... so without turning around he asked " How do they know you like roses?"

Vienna responded " I told them... When Edward was doing his survey of what flowers to sell, I filled s form out and said why I like flowers and why... Roses are my mother's favourite too..."

Tristan turned around slowly and faced Vienna who was sitting on the bed.
Vienna froze as she saw his expression. He didn't seem pleased... He leaned to the desk and gripped side of her desks. There was some glint in his eyes that made her heart beat faster and faster. There was some emotion in his eyes that made her tremble... When he looked at her like that it made her feel like she was his and made her not to want to look anywhere else but at him... She felt like she ... belonged to him... Was it ... possessiveness? She couldn't call it anything else. That was what Tristan did... He made her feel she was his without saying a word, without even saying anything to pressurise her... He didn't need to remind her she was his girl. He made her not forget by just giving her a glance.

Tristan whispered " I don't want them to send you flowers any more... I want to be the one to send you flowers ... Have they sent you anything else?"

Vienna gulped... His tone left no argument... He was stating a fact. Not suggesting... He was saying to her matter of factly... She didn't dare contradict. She felt the danger in his tone that she didn't understand. Why was she getting a cold feeling? Why did she felt some death in his tone... What was deadly about flowers?

Tristan continued " The Blakes are pushing it..."

Then it clicked. Her brother's words came to her mind " Jealousy is deadly Vienna..." Of course ... How could she not see it? He was jealous of Edward Blake. But why?

Tristan's tone became firmer ". I want to send you flowers from now on with your father's permission.. Can you ask them not to send you anything... I don't like anyone else to send you flowers but me... You are my girl... Not anyone else's. I have waited for you so long watching strangers spending time with you and by the looks of it sending you flowers when I couldn't ..." He was livid.. He thought to himself " If I can't send you flowers then no one can. Only I should be allowed to send you flowers. I want to pick what your hands touch... You are my soft petal rose with no thorns ... I would be your thorns to fend off the onlookers who want to pick you for themselves...."

His words conformed Vienna's fears. He was jealous. What could she say back to calm him down... He seemed tense... Unlike always when she felt the urge to run and keep away from him when he was looking at her so intensely, she didn't feel that way. Vienna could feel he was pained. There was pain in his voice. Vienna didn't know why but she felt the instinct to walk to him. She felt the urge to comfort him...She stood up slowly from the bed and walked towards him. Her cheeks were feeling hot under his stare and she felt nervous as chills went down her spine as he was staring at her expectantly ... She stood in front of him and took a deep breath as she spoke " Flowers die Tristan. They are short lived... They don't matter but ... you matter to me..."

Tristan's expression changed. He didn't expect to hear that ... " Do I?"

Vienna swallowed hard as she was resisting the urge to look away under his piercing stare "You don't have to send me flowers... Like I said, flowers die... "

Tristan shook his head " It doesn't matter that flowers die... I make sure anyone who dares send you flowers wish that they die ... You are mine Vienna... Only mine..."

Vienna knew danger was way too deadly. What was she to do? She wished she could run and could warn Edward Blake to hide. She badly wanted to go out there and ask Vincenzo to fix this.... But she was determined to assure Tristan... It was her responsibility. She couldn't let other fight her battles always...She then hesitated. She took a deep breath and lifted her hand up and carefully reached up. She gently touched his chest... She put her hand on his heart making him stiffen. She whispered " What is in your heart is real for me... That doesn't die." She then with her other hand reached towards Tristan's hand. She took his hand in hers. She gently lifted his hand and as Tristan was in too much shock to react and had stiffened, she placed his hand on her chest on her heart and stated " What is in my heart for you is real Tristan... I can't explain it better... Tristan... A lot of people may give me gifts... They may even ... love me but I don't love them back... I have you in my heart and no one else..."

Tristan's breath hitched in his threat. He tried to speak but no words came out. He took a deep breath and managed to speak the only words that he could at that moment as he was mesmerised by the moment " I love you so much..." That was all he could say.

Vienna took a deep breath. She let go of Tristan's hand that was on her chest and he pulled his hand away.. She then tried to pull her hand away from his chest but he gently but firmly gripped her wrist and didn't let her retreat her hand " Wait ... Wait a few moment ms.. I want to memorise your touch... I won't see you for weeks after the weekend.. I am on a trip ... I need to memorise this moment... " He then closed his eyes and felt her warmth and he felt stronger. He truly did... She gave him strength.. Her faith in him made him feel powerful. He needed nothing but her to be happy. He then opened his eyes. He stated at her beautiful eyes. He took in the colour of her lips that he badly wanted to taste.... When could he get a kiss from her? He wanted those soft rosy lips on his now. But couldn't have it... She was torturing him now too by biting her lip now...

Vienna's heart was beating fast. He was looking at her in a way she couldn't explain. She hoped she had calmed him. She didn't even know where her courage came from to touch his rock hard chest.... She didn't mind his touch at all. When she had placed Tristan's hand on her chest she felt safer than any time she remembered in her life. She knew the hand that touched her chest could never hurt her and could always protect her. It had calmed her down actually. She felt safe and she felt protected when she felt his touch...  She had a tingling sensation on her lips that she couldn't explain... She felt the urge to move forward and kiss him. She was shocked at her urge... Her cheeks felt hot and she looked away  not able to look at Tristan after she had just fantasised about kissing him. "What was she thinking?" She thought to herself.

Tristan thought to himself words he could t say " Don't look away... I need you to look at me... I need to memorise this moment..." But he didn't like asking her for much... All he wanted was to give her what she wanted and not take what he wished... He was willing to do anything for this girl standing in front of him. He felt so loved at that moment by her. Her heavenly presence was making him feel so loved...
