Paris' POV

I looked at the clock that read 11:16 and sighed .. the doorbell had been ringing all morning .. I didn't know why, & didn't care to find out .. I went deeper underneath the covers until I heard my bedroom door open and my covers went flying off of me ..

Kelsey: get up !!

I sat up still sore, Kelsey looked me up and down .. & her smile instantly faded ..

Kelsey: .... he found out didn't he ?

I nodded and got out of bed .. Kelsey followed me into the bathroom ..

Kelsey: how ?

Paris: this guy from one of my classes walked up to me blabbing his mouth .. then the next thing I knew I had to explain to Shane how I even knew the dude .. Then after that the shooting happened .. we got into a argument about it once we made it home .. words got exchanged .. then (sighed)

I shook my head as if that would make my head stop pounding !!

Kelsey: damn ..

Paris: right ..

Kelsey: I take it you haven't been downstairs yet ?

Paris: no, why ?

Kelsey walked out and I followed her, halfway down the stairs I noticed my foyer was covered in bouquets of flowers !! Kelsey pulled a note from the biggest bouquet and handed it to me .. I rolled my eyes and opened the note ..

"I apologize for over-reacting, go have you a spa day on me .. it's been payed for !! I love you"

Kelsey smirked as I finished reading the note .. inside the envelope was a stack of money with a band around it that said $10,000.00

Kelsey: you've been taxed bitch !!

I rolled my eyes and shook my head ..

Paris: I'm so over this !!

Kelsey: Justine is bringing the kids back today ..

Paris: I know..

Kelsey: let's go to the spa before they come back ..

Paris: I'm not going !! Kelsey look at me !!

Kelsey: just come on ..

She grabbed my hand and we headed back upstairs ..

Kelsey: those people at that spa is not concerned with your home life !! & more than likely he shut it down so we'll be the only ones there anyway ..

I sighed and headed into my closet and pulled out my royal blue Ralph Lauren sweats and hoody .. Maybe going to the spa would relax me, lord knows I was stressed !! I needed a break from everybody .. I pulled my hoody up over my neck making sure nothing could be seen .. I took the money from the envelope stashing the money in my Louis purse and we left ..

Paris : you mind if I stop to see my brother first ?

Kelsey: of course not ..

I thought about everything he told me about Shane & how true it actually was .. I loved Shane though, but the amount of fear he put in me made me question everything about him .. He had me confused .. One minute he was perfect, this sweet and loving guy who would move mountains for me .. and the next he was someone else !! Last night looking into his eyes I almost didn't see anyone there .. it's like he didn't even have a soul. . When I walked into my brothers room he was up watching tv .. I smiled at his sudden improvement !! He was strong that was for sure ..

Paris: hey dude .. (hugged him)

Trey: what's up

Paris: how you feelin ?

Trey: better .. what's up Kels

Kelsey: sup

Paris: you seen mommy today ?

Trey: naw but she called .. she cooking and said she was gonna bring me a plate..

Paris : oh ok .. we was just stopping by .. We have a appointment but I'll be back. .

Trey: what's that on your neck ?

I pulled my hoody up ..

Paris: a rash, I gotta go to the doctor ..

Trey didn't say anything, he looked at me as if he knew I was lying ..

Paris: I'll see you later ok ..

Trey: .. Paris .. Take care of yourself aight ..

I kissed my brother on the cheek and walked out ..

Paris: I think I'm gonna take you up on that vacation offer ..

Kelsey: (smiled) I was thinking St.Tropez !!

Paris: .. I was thinking wherever except here ..

She laughed and we headed to the spa .. Just like Kelsey predicted Shane had shut the spa down so it was just us inside .. We got our massages, got in the hot tub, & I even tried acupuncture .. we got something to eat then Kelsey dropped me off at home .. She wanted to go shopping but I wasn't even in the mood .. When I walked through the door I automatically knew Shane was home because his Jordan's were by the door and they weren't there when I left .. I went to his office & just like I thought.. he was there doing something on his iPad .. I walked in and sat down in front of his desk ..

Paris: can we talk ?

Shane looked up at me for the first time ..

Shane: about what ?

I unzipped my hoody, then took it off & pointed to my neck ..

Paris: about this !!

Shane smirked

Shane: what about it ?

Paris: (sighed) you need anger management .. or somethin !!

He looked back down at his ipad

Shane: what time my mama bringing the kids back ?

Paris: ..... in about a hour, why ?

Shane: just asking ..

I shook my head & sighed

Paris: Listen, I don't want my grades to be damaged by me just not showing back up so I'll have to go up there to drop my classes ..

Shane looked at me & smirked again ..

Shane: I'll take you ..

Paris: .. fine, whatever .. you ready ?

He drove me back to campus and waited in the car .. The lawn was filled with people my age living a normal life but mine was nowhere near normal !! I walked inside the main office to drop all of my classes .. The secretary stared at my neck not thinking I noticed her ..

Paris: rough sex .. it's the best right ..

She ignored me and quickly looked away .. I rolled my eyes wishing she would hurry the hell up.. I shook my head at how fucked up it was that I couldn't finish but .. oh well .. as I was leaving heading back to the car I heard a familiar voice call my name .. I closed my eyes & sighed but kept walking hoping he would get the picture .. but he didn't ..

Jeremy: Paris !! You didn't hear me calling you .. wtf happened last night .. your boyfriend or whoever the fuck it was killed somebody right in front of me ..

He glane down at my neck

Jeremy: .... He did that to you ?

I looked at the car and seen Shane getting out ..

Paris: (sighed) Jeremy everything I'm about to say is exactly what I mean so listen .. let .. it .. go !! I can handle myself .. He will kill you .. if you ever see me again don't even speak .. I'm not being rude I just dont want you in my bs .. ok .. im fine !!

Shane: you ready ?

Paris: yeah ..

Jeremy stood there stunned as Shane grabbed my hand and walked away ..
