I request my precious readers to pray their salah if they haven't prayed yet before reading this chappy....

Asfa's pov :

I was angry at him, for working too late and not taking care of himself ...

Oh! so I remind you how many times you did?? my conscience mocked!!

And, I kept turning and tossing! but sleep was far away from me and then, I slept and again I witnessed the night mare! which I hate to remember, and it again broke me...

I felt, someone consoling me and shook me and I woke up to see, Humza holding me and I engulfed him in a tight hug and sobbed...

I'm not alone this time! he was with me, he cajoled me like a baby and his presence calmed me down and he was soothing me..

Then, after sometime he lulled me to sleep! but it was far away from me.. because, I don't want to see those dreams again and I slowly detached myself from him, I took my dairy and sat on the living room and started writing it..

It's the only way to release my emotional feelings and worries from myself and I didn't tell Humza about my night mares or the incident! where, I almost lost everything..

Not because that, I didn't trust him but, because of my own insecurities.. because, I'm always a messed up person.. Whenever I think everything is falling in place, again it shattered into pieces....

I felt a presence behind me and I turned around to only get engulfed by a hug and I instantly clung to him and inhaled his scent, which calmed my senses! he was rubbing my back and took me to room, but I didn't want to sleep but he took me in his arms and made me sleep..

Before drifting in to slumber, I heard him say.. "you are not alone in this, I'm with you! " I smiled and nuzzled my nose in his chest...

I stirred in my sleep, but he was nowhere to be found and a rose with a note was placed on his pillow, I grabbed it..

Dear wifey! finally you woke up;)

Get fresh fast and meet me at the breakfast table and hurry up!

This man seriously knows how to make me smile! I got fresh and wore my outfit and climbed down, to only met with mouth watering smell of food and my stomach growled and the sight in front of me fluttered my heart!! my handsome! was tossing the pancakes in the pan and I watched him in amusement, doing his work passionately..

He sensed my presence and turned around, he neared me and kissed my forehead and I smiled..

"so what's cooking? " I asked curiously..

"Chico chip pancakes, for My wifey!" he said smilingly..

"let me help! " I said, but he stopped and made me seat on the kitchen island...

"just watch how your husband cooks for you, darling!! " he said and winked at me..

I blushed "it's delicious" I said, licking the batter! he grinned at me..

After, completing our breakfast we were seated on the couch and he was playing with my hair and he loves to play with my locks..

"why? are you not in your meeting today! it was important right?" I asked raising a brow at him..

"I didn't have the mood today!" he said as a matter of fact..

"don't fool me! you didn't left, because of me right and what happened yesterday night, I don't want you to worry and your work is Impo--" he shushed me, by placing a finger on my lips..

"no! it's not important and BTW you're my priority now and it's my responsibility to take care of you, no matter what work I have! " he said determined..

"why?? " I asked dumbfounded..

"because, you're my wifey!" he said lovingly and caressed my cheek with his thumb, then slowly kissed me on the of side my lips..

My breath got hitched and all the blood In my body, run into my cheeks turning it into crimson " I love when you blush like this! my love" he said and winked at me..

I hit his arm playfully and glared at him but, he just lol..

"I'm sure! I'll get diabetes because of your sweetness " I said dramatically...

"drama queen! " he mumbled laughingly..

Then, he said "umm.. let's go for a drive! What say? " and I nodded,
cheerfully.

He asked me not to wear Abaya, as we were going to roam around the forest area and it was a private property, so no one is allowed there and I changed into my outfit..

And he too was changed into his outfit

But, I took my niqab with me! in case if someone arrive...

Then, after locking the penthouse! we went downstairs on our private lift and he took his BMW and we started our journey and it was a comfortable drive and I was enjoying the view of nature and he took my hand and kissed it and he kept our hands intertwined and I liked it more than anything! only he left my hand, when he has to change the gear..

Then, we were chatting aimlessly and he was cracking lame jokes, which I found very funny and we were laughing like mad people! but it was peaceful, just him and me and no worries..

And! after driving for an hour, we came to an halt at his farm house and the security guard opened the door and he parked the car on the porch, and I was amazed to see the farm house and it was different from ours, but it was cool...

And, we entered the house it was beautiful in and outside.. I saw his room and other rooms and we explored the house we ate our lunch at the farm house and the cook made us fried rice and it was delicious... Then, we offered our salah and we came out..

"so? you want to ride the horse? " he asked smilingly..

"obviously yes! " I nodded quickly, like a child and we walked towards the ranch and an old couple greeted us and on seeing Humza they were so happy and hugged him! another favorite thing about my husband, that he is down to earth kinda person! which I love about him..

Wait a minute! did I say love??

I was broken out of my reverie, when he tugged my arms..

"this is asfa! my lovely wifey" he pulled me closer to him by my waist and introduced to them..

"and this is Mr and Mrs Russo darling " he said and I greeted them, politely..

"you are beautiful my daughter " Mrs Russo said, I thanked her while Humza was grinning from ear to ear...

Then, Mr Russo came with a brown horse and he placed the saddle on it Humza made me climb the horse and he too climbed and sat behind me while his one hand was wrapped around my waist and the other on the rope...

My heart beat increases, whenever he is this close to me and his breath was fanning my ear and he made the horse move slowly and after sometime the horse picked up the speed and we were flying in air..

I was enjoying it very much and Humza too was very excited and I extended my arms at my side and I let the air touch me with full force! I was enjoying every minute of my life with him and after touring the land we came back to the ranch and he helped me to get down and Mr Russo gave the horse his food and after bidding our goodbyes, we left from there..

I always love horse riding! but with him, it was something special..

Then, we settled on our car and my feet were aching because of the heels so, I took it off and massaged my foot but he took my legs and put it on his legs, I wiggled to let my legs free! but he held it tight and I sighed in defeat..

He is very stubborn! when it comes about my comfort, but another reason to be thankful to Allah for giving him into my life...

Humza's pov :

I was prepared for the meeting, that was supposed to be held today! but I called zaid and informed him to postpone the meeting and it was important one! but, naah... nothing is more important than my love...

Sometimes, it helps to be the CEO of your own company.. because, no one question your decision's and I remembered what happened last night, I don't know anything about her night mare and I don't even have an idea! that from how long, she is going through like this and it pains me very much! because no one can understand her situation, better than me..

So, I decided to make her happy and busy all day! that she shouldn't have time to remember those dreams! so I made her favorite breakfast, choco chip pancakes and she asked to help me, but I want to please her! so I shushed her and made me watch making her breakfast..

When, I handed her the breakfast she poured extra chocolate sauce and she was licking her lips while seeing her breakfast in awe..

How?? I wish that she looks at me like that!!

Then, I decided to take her to long drive and horse riding then to a secret place where you'll always found me... its kinda my favorite place whenever I needed space or to clear my head.. because, I wanted to clear her head too...

After meeting with the old couple, I took her to horse riding and seeing her happy and carefree fills my heart with utmost joy and I love when she is this close to me and my heart beat increases, with her mere presence or touch! no girl has made my heart beat this fast, not even when I have done something wrong or I've been caught.. this girl is making me feel new things! which I haven't felt before..

I love this! I love us!!

Then, we settled on our car.. I sensed that her feet will be aching for sure, so I took her legs and placed it on my legs and slightly massaged to ease the pain, but she was trying to remove her legs! I held it tight..

"you are pampering me a lot and I'm getting used to it and don't complain when you're bored of me " she said like a boss..

"I'll never get bored of you, wifey" I said heartily...

She smiled and it was a genuine one from the heart and it put a smile on my face too, then we reached my happy place...

Third person pov:

He took his boots off and folded his jeans and he folded hers too.. then they were walking in hand in hand towards the beach...

Yes! it was a secluded beach, where you won't find anyone, because California has many types of beach to offer and he like this secluded one particular..

She watched the sea in amusement and she loved it.. It was calming the sound of the birds chirping and waves playing with the sea shore and she took the sea shell and put in on her ear and listened to it, like she used to in her childhood with saffu and imad..

He was watching her in awe! the sunlight illuminated her glowing face indeed she was beautiful! her facial features were carved with perfection, her chocolate brown orbs, her soft cheeks her, pink lips, her petite form, curvy waist, her innocence, her kindness and every features of her pulled him towards her more ...

He unwrapped her hijab and let her hair flow openly and she didn't stop him! because no one was there beside him and he tucked a strand behind her ear and they watched the sunset together..

He stood behind and wrapped her arms around her waist and he rested his chin on her shoulders.. She laid her back on his chest and the air was chilly! but his warmth was keeping her warm and she sighed in content..

"it's so beautiful to see the sunset!!" she said heartily..

"indeed! it is sweetheart " he said looking at Sun..

"why did you brought me here? " she asked with curiosity..

"because I wanted to show you my happy place! whenever I feel low sad or messed up, I will come here to clear my head and this place is close to me! because it helped me to relive my worries and pain " he said remembering his past...

She looked at him quizzically! of what his words mean, then she remembered aala's words and she decided to ask! but didn't because she was hesitant, then he continued..

"you know what wifey? life was never easy for anyone! everyone has their own struggles in their life, nobody knows except them! that how much they've been through, but it never stopped them, from growing tougher! it only added fuel to their will power to face the challenges!! in their upcoming life " he said, tightening his grip around her..

And his every words pierced through her heart, she observed everything! he said..

"but, past doesn't stop to haunt you! no matter how much you run from it,, it only follows you and never let you live in peace " she said unknowingly, that she is spilling her heart out..

"yes! it doesn't stop to haunt us, but it teaches us, how to let go " he said smiling sadly...

"I wanted to tell you that no matter what happens! I'm with you! you are not alone, in this battle! Insha Allah I'll never leave your side ever!! " he said while cupping her face and she nodded her head like a child and hugged him tight and he too hold her with full of love!! then she pulled away and looked into his eyes and his eyes was little moistened, even her own was filled with unshed tears...

He smiled a little, then he looked at her lips and back to her eyes as if asking permission, she closed her eyes feeling the moment and didn't evade him, this time.. slowly he leaned down and when his lips touched hers! sparks ignited in her body sending shivers down her spine, his lips were warm and his kiss was slow and drugging like silently promising her that he'll never leave her and she didn't kiss him back until this time.. but, all her fear drowned away and she slowly started responding to him and their lips moved in sync! her response made his heart filled with joy! soon their kiss turned into a passionate one! he nibbled her lips and bit it softly and then they parted and kept their forehead touching and they were, breathing heavily,,and a beautiful smile was plastered on their faces...

then, he said pointing his hand, on the direction of the sunset "sunsets are the proofs! that no matter what happens! everyday can end beautifully " he said, making her realise the importance to always have positive thoughts in life... She smiled, and hid her face in his chest, making his smile grow wide! at her shy antics..
