Asher gasps and wakes from a deep sleep. A warm static buzz from the center of his body. The train speeds through the ram shackled rail along with crumpling sounds indicating rocks being crushed laterally. Asher pulls his ironclad bag closer to him as a few strangers pass by. He did not want to make any sort of attention with the many people seated around him. The train hollers a puff of clean water vapor as the electric motor works tirelessly to boil the water inside the tanks, therefore creating enough pressure to push the cylinders upward to create forward motion.
"Next stop, Tharsis." The surround sound speakers blare.
Asher wakes the girl that was sleeping on his shoulder.
"Sis, this is our stop." He says.
She lets out a deep sigh and nods.
They both stand and line up with several already gathered around the door. The morning sun invades the windows with a grand golden flash.
Tharsis was the fifth largest city in Vingorod. Although, a quarter of a quarter of the city is a petrifying combination of corruption, gangsterism, and anarchy, the city is well above stable. The traditions of the early five-thousands are closely practiced to all people of all ages.
It is quite something. The roofs are still pointy, the walls are still made of wood and metal, the pathways are still paved using cobblestone, and the cleanliness is still strictly watched.
The inertia of the electric steam train stopping caused everyone to slant a little bit. A bright ding sounded.
"Thank you for riding Valor Xpress."
They walked out of the door and grabbed each a white raincoat.

The terminal was a huge 100-diameter dome, 50 meters to the ceiling.
The whole terminal was blotted with occasional "Please mind the gap", Chings and puffs that become overwhelmingly irritating. Because of the excessive water vapor collected inside the dome, humidity is through the roof. One could literally walk across some 10 meters and their clothing would already be soaking wet. The moisture was so dense that people could only see clearly about 20 meters away.
The two walk to the withdrawal area. A blond woman looks up and smiles.
"Hello, may I have your transit identification chip?" the woman says.
Asher gave his. The glass separating them both have millimeter small droplets.
"Jackson Froustmourn. There aren't a lot of Frostmourn around here. There are two of you I see?" said the lady.
Asher just nods
"You seem to be a quiet type; may I ask where you're from?"
Asher felt bile rushing up his throat as his avoidance of being engaged in socialization has seemed to fail him. He needed to make up something.
"I... I am from the northern parts of Crystalhout, born within the natives..." Asher said as his voice trailed. He had to think of something, some other topic that might lead other than where he is from. "This is my wife Briana Froustmourn." He staggered knowing that she is his sister.
"Ah... I see. Well, good to know..." There was an awkward pause. "I guess you two should get going." The woman said matter-of-factly.
"Thanks" they both said.
They walked to the waiting areas. They both took off their raincoats and placed them inside the terminals RRB or raincoat recovery bin.
"She seems to be one of the good ones, right Asher?" said the girl.
"I don't know, Sapphire. My primary goal was not to socialize for the time being, yet I did." Said Asher depressingly.
"Well, I hope you got your kinks warmed up because you're going to do more talking soon"
"Why don't you do the talking? You're the woman and I'm the boy."
"Did you just call yourself a boy?"
Asher grunted in response. He just became 18 a few months ago. Asher was aware he was now a fully grown man, tipping the scales at 220 pounds, as well as being a lanky, long, massive human being. Calling himself a boy was totally out of the table.
He adored being a person that stands out, he couldn't imagine how it would feel to be among the common people, who, in fact, was never even noticed in a society.
Sapphire on the other hand, is a little less than a foot shorter than him. She was 19 years old and loves Terran hamburger. Sapphire is fit and agile like her other twin sister. They are going to meet her at Karli University. It was a reunion. A family reunion after two years of studying up for the rest of their adult lives.
Asher felt another static buzz in his body...
It was... Imposing
