Lucas looked around his office absent-mindedly. His mind was still filled with yesterday event. He couldn't help but thinking about a few possibilities that made the woman he knew as 'Auntie Ellia' to act like that. Yet, if he didn't seek for the answer, he will only able to guess and never find the truth.

Lucas glanced at his phone, and decided to contact some people who were familiar with investigating something. Surely, he wanted to find some leads about it.

The investigation probably going to take quite some times, so he decided that maybe he could secretly visit that house again to observe the about the case.

"You seem so busy lately." Andrew yawned tiredly as he slammed the documents in his hands into Lucas' table. It was packed full with the task he had just finished.

Lucas just glanced at him and didn't provide any reply. Andrew wasn't bothered either and he just leisurely took a seat on the opposite of Lucas. He stretched his body and yawned again.

Andrew finally frowned, feeling quite puzzled with Lucas' weird silent treatment. If that man was annoyed, he would either dumping him with another ton of job or kicking him out, but this time he just found his silent quite strange. As if that man was deep in thoughts.

"Tch, I won't disturb you then." Andrew looked at his friend one last time before exiting the room, secretly grumbling.

Lucas still didn't pay him any attention. He had already decided to visit that house again tomorrow morning. He looked down at his unfinished job and sighed, quietly finishing it all and some of what should be done tomorrow so that he could go at the morning.

At night, he continued to check at his phone, yet he hadn't received any news back. Frowning, he decided to just wait until the morning came.

Lucas woke up quite early that day. After taking bit of some breads and informing Charlie about him going somewhere to take care of some matters, he finally drove to the destination place.

It took a few minutes shorter than the last time. When he arrived at the familiar place, Lucas stayed a few house away from that place and observed quitely. Last time, he hadn't seen Sofia's father, much less the woman he was looking for herself. Only the little boy who seemed to be around eight or nine years old; probably her little brother.

Lucas wasn't a patient person. After waiting with no result, he frowned. Somehow, he also felt like a creep watching someone's house secretly like this. Yet, he couldn't made himself to care too much.

In the verge of sighing; a sign that he guess nothing will happen after waiting for around an hour, Lucas finally saw the familiar middle-aged woman exiting through the front door. She looked around with as if wary of her surroundings. She was also carrying a bag.

She left quietly, walking around until she arrived at the wide road of vehicles crossing around. She ordered a taxi and got in there.

Lucas didn't hesitate to follow after her. He really wanted to find the truth about the whole matter, and the explanation about the strangeness of that middle-aged woman.

The drive unexpectedly wasn't very far away. The middle-aged woman got out of the taxi as soon as she arrived at a hospital.

Lucas parked the car not to far away and quietly followed her. He made sure that she wouldn't notice someone was following her. Everytime she felt suspicious, Lucas would hide himself.

In his heart, Lucas was puzzled as to why that woman would go to a place like this. Was she visiting a sick relative? Was it the father, or even the Sofia?

Lucas continued to follow her along the way. Unexpectedly, the woman was still kept on walking and seemingly didn't intend to stop into her destination hospital room at tall.

This made Lucas felt wary. He frowned as he looked ahead. Has this woman finally discovered that he had been following her and intentionally lead him away?

Lucas made some guess in his heart. Though, he finally calmed down after he saw that the woman had stopped walking. She stood quietly in front of a hostpital room.

He continued to observe the scene before him, narrowing his eyes slightly. When the woman finally opened the hospital room, Lucas secretly moved closer to the place.

His footsteps were made to be as natural as possible without making too much noise, just like another passerby who passed by that room.

Through the small gap in the curtains; thankfully that the people inside wouldn't be able to see him right now, he finally got to watch who was lying on the hostpital bed.

It was the little boy who opened that door for him that day. He was lying quietly on the bed, seemingly weak sickly body looked like he didn't have even little energy to move around.

Lucas remembered that day when he first met the boy. He hadn't paid too much attention to him. Yet, now that he looked more closely, the boy indeed seemed pale, just like that time.

"Juwen, don't worry. You are going to get better soon. Your father is going to get some money to pay for the hospital bill." The woman muttered as she caressed the little boy's hair.

The father she was talking about was surely Sofia's father right? Unless, she had a divorce and had gotten married again.

Lucas suddenly frowned. This family seemed like they were in a need of money. He had that a lot. Through that one fact, Lucas began to think of something.

A few people secretly took a look at his stalker behavior as he stood in front of the room's curtains. This mad Lucas felt a bit awkward that he quickly straightened his body.

Lucas had gotten his answer, and now he was intending to go back. Yet, before he could take a few steps away from the room, he was quite stunned by the appearance of the person in front of him.

"What are you doing here?!"

Today is the day of universities announcing their selected students, and I really wish that I got accepted :(( Aameen.
