Tadashi clashed with Odysseus, and the resulting shockwave sent Gerard stumbling to the ground as Elric flew out of his hands.

Elric slowly opened his eyes and got up, dazed.

"W-Where am I," said Elric, looking around.

"The big guy, Odysseus, kicked your ass and your brother is fighting him now."

"First of all, Odysseus is a long-ass name, second of all, THAT VISOR IS FREAKING BADASS! WHERE DID YOU GET IT FROM"

"I got it in a briefcase thing."

"Seriously? Lemme see"

Elric reached for the visor but was startled by a massive shockwave.

"Holy shit, that's an intense battle going on there" exclaimed Elric.

"Yeah, we better go, don't wanna get caught up in the fight," replied Gerard.

Elric and Gerard unfurled their wings and took off.

Meanwhile, Odysseus landed a roundhouse kick on Tadashi that sent him skidding several meters in the opposite direction.

Tadashi managed to stay on his feet and thwart the momentum. He then raised numerous diamond spears around him and shot them at Odysseus.

Odysseus raised his hand and summoned a tornado that made all the diamonds spiral around its core. He then propelled the diamond-laden tornado at Tadashi who firmly planted his feet on the ground, holding him in place with a diamond pole that dug deep into the ground from his feet.

Once the tornado cleared, he saw Odysseus's hand up close, and a massive blast of flames shot out of it.

Tadashi's robe and shirt were burnt off, but he took no damage to his body.

Odysseus jumped back and said;

"I see you mastered the Skotono. Your attacks are quite disappointing, though."

"Let's see what you think about this" snarled Tadashi, and he planted both his fists into the ground.

Nothing happened for a couple of seconds.

"Seriously? What's supposed to happen?" mocked Odysseus.

Odysseus's laugh was interrupted by a diamond spoke that ripped through his shoulder. He stumbled to the ground and looked up.

He saw thousands of diamond spikes raining down on him from above.

He snapped his fingers and created multiple tornados that dispersed the diamond spikes, sending them in all directions.

"That's basically the same attack as last time" mocked Odysseus.

"I'll show you what a real attack looks like" he continued.

He flew up in the air and raised both his hands.

In a matter of seconds, he generated a ball of fire that covered the sky.

"Say goodbye to this empire you love, too bad Randel won't be here to stop me," said Odysseus.

"Not again," thought Tadashi to himself.

"I won't lose anything else ever again."

As Odysseus released the fireball, Tadashi flew off the ground and tried to block it with both of his hands but was pushed back by its force.

The fireball eventually pushed Tadashi all the way to the ground.

Tadashi's hands were now burning from the heat, and the skin of his palms started to melt off.

Flashbacks of his mother's loosening grip rushed through his head, this resulted in an instant rush of adrenaline in him.

Tadashi pushed back with all of his might and screamed;

"LIMIT BREAK"

Instantly a gigantic wall of diamond formed radially out his hands that rapidly covered the fireball.

He manipulated the diamond wall to roll up and cover the fireball.

Tadashi then shrunk the ball down to the palm of his hand.

The diamond ball glowed bright red and was extremely hot to the touch.

"What do you plan to do with that?" asked Odysseus, perplexed at Tadashi's move.

Tadashi smirked and immediately flew above Odysseus, a move he instantly followed with a kick to the head that sent him flying downwards. As soon as he made contact with the ground, Tadashi threw the glowing red diamond ball at Odysseus.

Odysseus's eyes widened the moment he realized what Tadashi was trying to do, but it was too late.

Right in front of Odysseus, the ball let out a massive explosion.

The explosion was big enough to cause mass destruction in a radius that spanned several kilometers and loud enough to be heard across the empire.

When the smoke cleared, Tadashi was covered in a streamlined diamond containment that diverted the force of the blast.

Tadashi retracted the containment and surveyed the area.

All he saw was a gigantic crater with its base draped in the shadows of its sheer depth. Tadashi chuckled to himself and closed his eyes as he began to fall down.

Before he could make contact with the ground, he heard a loud rumbling, and the moment he opened his eyes, he witnessed multiple pillars of flames breaking the ground and rising up.

Tadashi tried to regain his flight but was too exhausted to do so. The pillars of fire twisted around and were aimed right at him. Before the flaming pillars made contact with him, he saw the giant shadow of Odysseus above him.

"I AM ODYSSEUS," screamed Odysseus.

"I AM THE MAN WHO WILL KILL ZEUS. HOW DARE THE LIKES OF YOU EVEN DREAM OF TAKING ME DOWN"

As the looming shadow slowly drifted off, the flaming pillars intersected at him.

Tadashi screamed as his skin slowly started to melt off his bones.

Tadashi's life flashed before his eyes and realized that he was nothing but a failure. Though he had many regrets in his life, his greatest regret was that he wouldn't be able to see his brother grow up into a man and live his life just the way he wanted.

Before his consciousness faded away, he heard a deafening roar, and his whole world went blank.

After what seemed like days later, Tadashi woke up in a hospital. He looked around and saw Elric sitting there along with Gerard.

As soon as they noticed that Tadashi was awake, they rushed to him.

"How are you feeling?" they asked in unison.

Tadashi got up on his feet and said;

"As good as new. What happened to Odysseus, though?"

"I don't know," replied Elric.

"After that huge explosion, we rushed back and saw you lying on the ground, burnt to a crisp. We immediately rushed to the hospital."

"I see," said Tadashi, stretching his muscles to get the blood flowing.

"How long have I been here?"

"3 days."

'3 DAYS! Holy shit"

"Yeah, you were in horrible condition. The healing serum could heal your external wounds, but your organs were burnt to a crisp" said Gerard

"Oh wow, cool visor by the way," replied Tadashi.

"Yeah, I got it in a briefcase from the military."

"Yeah, about that," said Tadashi with a serious expression.

"What" replied Gerard and Elric in unison, confused.

"You were given the gauntlet to use within the military grounds for training, not to use outside."

"What? Come on, bro, you can't be such a rule-following robot."

"As the Vice-Admiral, enforcing rules is in my job description."

"So what's gonna happen to us now?" asked Gerard.

"Well," said Tadashi.

Diamond rings cuffed Elric and Gerard's limbs as they fell to the ground.

"You're under arrest."
