Those were the words Jodie Henning used to describe the man she fell in love with, the first time she met him.

Welcome to the most anticipated book of the Mature Jocks.

I'm not freaking out, you are.

If you're a new reader to my books, it would be really great if you could go back to A Love Like This, the first book in this series for a better experience, to get to know all the characters and for all the feels.

Without further ado, welcome!!!

I am so excited and also freaked out that I might do this wrong and all LMAO. I really appreciate y'all letting me write this couple at my pace since we first met them in AHLT. I'm trying something different, sports romance with a hint of mafia background, hence Alex. And also, y'all will get to see him woo Jodie with his Italian. Jodie is a Latina character (Mexican mother with White father- Hudson's dad as y'all already know) and I promise I'm doing my research so I don't write her wrong.

Speaking of Italian and Spanish, I will be using Google Translate and I will be translating them as you read, ie. Various curses and sentences in both languages, some I would interpret immediately, others I will eventually. I'm really excited for this journey and I hope y'all are excited too!

There would be a lot of mature content in this book, featuring Sex, vulgar language, violence and more sex. All 18+ content. If any of this is going to make you uncomfortable or anything, feel free to click the exit button. THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING. Like I said I'm trying something totally new and probably unheard of. This is still a hockey romance, games and preps will still be written.

That being said, my characters are not perfect and they never will be. They have their flaws, they will make their mistakes and they will learn from them, and to me, that's what matters.
