"Why isn't he crying?", I ask.

Why wasn't he crying? What's wrong?

I look over at Kameron who has a look of panic as he tries to see what the doctors are doing to our baby as they now moved him to the other side of the room instead of putting him on my chest. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest.

"What's wrong? Is he okay?", Kameron choked out.

In a split second we heard the room fill with the cries of our baby boy. I saw Kameron's chest fall instantly and he began to cry. I felt my body relax, Kameron rested his head against mine.

"Baby boy is okay, just a little clogged up.", we hear.

He placed a kiss on my lips then walked over to where they were cleaning Jaxon off. I watched as Kameron looked at our baby boy with a glisten in his eyes. When he was wrapped up in the blanket the nurse handed him to Kameron. I watched as he looked down at our baby and wiped tears from his eyes.

He walked over to me and handed Jaxon to me. I looked down at our baby and an instant love cake over me.

"Hi baby.", my voice cracks.

"He's perfect.", Kameron whispers.

I nod. "He has your eyes.",

I can feel Kameron's fingers running through my hair as he looks down at our baby. I notice him wipe a tear away and he sniffles. I look up at him.

"You're crying.", I say.

Kameron nods.

"I'm just speechless. I don't know how you did it but you did. You're so strong and he's perfect.", Kameron says.

He leans down and presses his lips against mine. We both turned back to see Jaxon sleeping peacefully. I caress his little cheek.

"You gave mommy a scare. You weren't crying. You already have mama on her toes.", I say to Jaxon softly gently stroking his cheek.

I know he's going to be a handful but for now I'm going to cherish this moment because in a blink of an eye he'll be all grown up.

Kameron began slowly fixing his little beanie. My body felt exhausted and I was really hungry. I slowly look up at Kameron. He glanced at me and smiled before placing a kiss on my forehead.

"You okay? Do you need anything? Water? Food?", Kameron asks.

"Water please and a really big cheese burger.", I laugh.

Kameron chuckles then nods.

"You got it."

When Kameron comes back with food for me I give him the baby and take a huge bite from the burger and groan.

"I know we are before we even came here but labor is exhausting.", I mumble.

There's a small knock on the door before it opens revealing Maddie, holding a teddy bear, and Daniel behind her with balloons.

"Hi! How are you feeling?", Maddie says when she sees me.

I know she's concerned about me but her eyes scan the room for Jaxon, when they land on him she gasps.

She walks over to me and kisses my cheek before walking over to Kameron and let's out a groan. Daniel walks over to me and kisses my head.

"You feeling okay?", he asks.

"Just tired.", I reply.

He nods. "I bet, Kameron has a big head so I don't doubt the little does either.", he jokes.

I smile. I turn to see Maddie taking Jaxon from Kameron as she gasps softly. When she's cradling him she's swaying side to side slowly. Her eyes are sparkling. I glance at Daniel to see him watching her with a sparkle of his own in his eye. It didn't take him long to walk over and see Jaxon, giving Kameron a hug.

Kameron walked over to me and took my hand into his.

"So what happens now?", Kameron asks.

"With?"

"Us. Him.", he says.

I didn't know. Kameron and I still had a lot to work on and so far he's been making up for it. Maybe I've been stubborn and haven't given in to him but he hurt me when I needed him the most.

"All I know is that we are co-parenting.", I say. "Whatever happens between now and when I come to a decision that's best for me and Jaxon, it's just what happens.", I say.

I didn't know if we would reconnect in physical ways and I didn't know that I'd have enough strength to stop it from happening.

"Okay, but I do have to go back L.A next week for an audition.", he says.

"You do. Will you be back?", I ask.

"Of course. Unless you both can come with me.", he says.

I look over in Jaxon's direction.

"We're staying. He's too little to fly and I don't want to risk anything. Private plane or not.", I say.

Kameron nods.

"Then I'll be back as soon as the audition is over.", he says.

I nod.

Kameron reaches up and caresses my cheek and smiles softly. I touched his hand and smile before placing a kiss on the side of it. I'm in love with Kameron but he still needs some making up to do.

"Amy, I want to keep him. Can I?", Maddie says, walking over to the bed, shooting Kameron away with the baby in her arms.

"No no, he's all mine.", I say, taking him from her.

I hold him out in front of me and watch him sleeping for a moment.

"He's perfect isn't he? How can someone be so perfect?", I ask.

"No clue but auntie Maddie is spending every second with this kid. You know, a small part of me wishes that we could have followed through with moving in with each other and raising the little nugget on our own.", she smiles.

"Me too but then you wouldn't have Daniel.", I say.

Maddie nods. "You're right but this baby seems like the better option.", she teases knowing Daniel is listening.

I laugh softly.

"Little Jaxon here is going to love his auntie Maddie with everything he's got.", I say.

I place a kiss on Jaxon's cheek before giving him back to Maddie who is eager to hold him again.

"Kameron, are your parents coming down to see the baby?", I ask.

"They are and will be in tomorrow morning. They are so excited to meet him and see you. It's all they keep asking about.", Kameron smiles.

We still kept in touch and I gave them a bunch of baby updates after I left L.A.

"I can't wait to see them. They are going to be all over him and I know they are excited.", I smile.

Maddie moves away and sits on the coach across the bed with Daniel and they both stare down at Jaxon as if he were their own. Kameron took Maddie's spot again and rested his hands on each side of me.

"You really did so great. I didn't think something like that was possible, I mean obviously child birth is possible because it happens, but that was nothing what I thought. You are superwoman.", Kameron says.

"If I'm behind honest now that he's here I don't remember. I do, of course, and I'm sure I'll complain about how hard it was but he's here and that's what matters.", I say.

Kameron smiles before snaking his hand around my head and brings it down so my forehead is pressing against his.

"I love you.", Kameron whispers then places a kiss on my lips.

A feeling settled in my stomach. I was feeling the way I did when I first met Kameron. I felt like a high school girl, blushing. I touched Kameron's face and smiled.

"I'm going to rest my eyes.", I say.

Kameron chuckles softly.

"Okay."

Hey guys so the Amazon thing is still not resolved the story is still up.

However someone did leave a review that it was stole from Inkitt. Which what I also had this book on. I removed my books from Inkitt and will probably remain writing here. :/

It sucks when people take your work and try to say it's their own. I really want to continue to write for you guys and I know that it's inconsistent but I'm involved with school stuff and getting ready for college and picking a good one to go to.

I appreciate the support from everyone and anyone who follows, comments, and votes. You guys are the best!

I will also definitely be editing this book once it's complete.
