[Manik POV]

After the dance, I saw nandini walking out the hall looking embarrassed, when I was about to follow her, my friends blocked my way pouring curious questions on me but I was least bothered to answer it because my mind,was already on Nandini leaving the hall. I made excuse quickly and walked out the hall, reaching outside I didn't find her anywhere . I approached the guards and they told me she left from here in car and I looked shock.

How can she leave from here, when she came with me in my car???

Curiosity kicked me and I quickly walked to the valet and what he told me made me numb and more curious that she left in my car just less than a min ago and even she told him that I permitted her to take my car.

What's wrong with her??

I got worried and hell curious at the same time, what it was that urgent that she had to lie to valet and ran away. I again rushed inside and asked Abeer for his car keys and he again interrogated me and I got pissed and told him that I have no time and in hurry. Finally he gave me and I rushed out from here sitting in car and thankgod she took my car like always I will trace her with tracker. I tracked her location and she is still driving but I got shocked about the location where she is passing and rolled my eyes.

What is with her always going on isolated place??

I drived the car to fast to get her car glimpse and suddenly her car halted in that isolated place that kto near a jungle border line. I frowned. Something is,wrong with her in this late night leaving the party and roaming on isolated and scary places.

Is she have some kind of mental problem or multiple personality disorder??

After 8mins of more driving I reached at the location and found my car on the muddy road. I halted my car behind it and quickly rushed out to find the car slinked in mud dreadfully and even Nandini wasn't inside.

Then where is she???

I quickly started to look here and there for her and after few steps beside a tree on the soily side of the road, I found something shinning I bent down and to pick it. It was a flower petalic shape hair pin that too familar one. I creased my brows thinking about where I saw it and after remembering it my eyes snapped wide and panicked fill inside me.

Its Nandini's hair pin!!!!

I without any another thought rushed inside the forest and after walking a few steps I saw a silver bright light twinkling on a height from far, the forest was too dark so it was easy to see even a small light. I quickly run in the direction of light and I reached near a tree from which the light is falling, I was,about to look up to the light when my eyes fall on the ground and found a piece of white lacy cloth. It was Nandini's dress cloth piece.

Is she ok???

I quickly looked up in fear at the tree but I wasn't able to see anything except light which wasn't falling at a fix place, it was moving in every direction with following noice of branches and leaves crunching soundly. I frowned and oned my flash light to know what is actually happening there and I saw something white holding the light and I got startled.it was looking scary.

Is it a forest ghost!!!!

I tried to watch with more concentration and I finally realized she is Nandini not a ghost but acting like a ghost and my eyes widened in shock.

What she is doing on the height of the tree that too in jungle..???
She really have some mental problem!!!!

She is dangling on the tree holding a branch moving her phone here to there.

"Nandini!!"I yelled and she got startled and about to loose her balance we both got shocked and worried but finally she stable herself. And focused her flash light on me and she too get shocked.

"You!!!"she exclaimed in shock "what the hell you doing here??"she asked exasperated and paused for a moment"on min..were u stalking me..??"she questioned after her face going amused.

"Really you think that?" I pretend disbelief because my ego is to high to believe that cliche "well , what will you expect to that person if u have took his car without his permission" I asked smirking in victory and she started to look corners but then I again realized where actually she is standing and again got worried "Nandini!!now leave all that and please climb down the fu**ing tree" I yelled back in Manik and she quickly nodded before climbing down in this darkness where just the source of light is our flash lights.

She was climbing down esconcing her every step and here I was standing fearing on her every move. Suddenly I felt her disbalancing stucking her feet in something and she yelped loudly, My eyes got wide in shock and I froze at my place seeing her falling down from a height in an instant and than.

"SPLASH!!!!"

Noooo!!!!!!!!!

"NANDINI!!!!!!" I shouted my lungs out after recovering from shock and ran there in fear and shock from where I hear a heavy splash of water, she must have fallen in a water body which I never noticed. My body is trembling terribly with fear.

Eventually, I reached near a pound where was the same tree from which Nandini fallen. I stand at the edge of the pound and noticed water in a height distance and Nandini was crying and at the verge of drowning. My heart ached at the sight and I quickly threw my jacket, shirt and shoes so it will be easy to carry her out and jumped in without any micro second delay.

I quickly worked my hand to reach her, water is slightly freezing because its still February and I can't see her due to extreme darkness so I follow the sound and movement of water. I finally reached her and pull her in my arms and dragged her to the shore and lied down Nandini on ground.

She is unconscious!!!!

More Panic and fear kicked in me. Her body is cold, I started to pat his cheek and shook her bed to get in response but no.

"Nandini, wake up!!!!"I yelled worriedly"nandini,open your eyes..danmit!!!" But still she didn't give any response.

I got frustrated and nervous looking everywhere not knowing what to do. I then guessed me be she drank some water inside. I quickly started to press her body and she threw up water.She finally gain her consciousness but still coughing I made her sit leaning on my chest and smiled. She looked at me qnd started to rub her arms but I can sense she is not completely conscious. I noticed, she started to shiver terribly and her teeth chattering. I again got worried, she is completely drenched and the water was very cold and the temperature isnt doing any justice. I feard, may she wont catch hypothermia. I got up and carried her in my arms walking where I left my accesories and Nandini continuously shivering in my arms and trying to get warm from my body snuggling close but its not helping her ,I am wet too and feeling cold. I again lie down her and made her wear my coat and wore my shirt myself. I started to look direction to identify from which way I came but darkness isnt helping. I oned my flash lights and choosen a direction in hope may be it will be the right one because Nandinis condition isnt good to be late she need medical help because she just not trembling but she is bruised too by the fall.I walked so far but found no trace of road or anything which signifies that the way I am walking was a wrong guess.

I think we are lost in this dark jungle!!!

This thought didn't settle with me, if it was just about me I must be not that worried but it is about Nandini and her situation. I realized to call someone and turned the phone and try to call someone but there was no network and my heart sank.If she wont get immidiate help she could get hypothermia which even can risk her life.

No!!if have to do something soon.

I again continue to walk in a direction hoping for any help or a glimpse of exit from this jungle but found nothing. After walking a little more I saw a glimpse of dim lantern and I felt happy and overwhelmed. I never felt this happy in my entire life. I quicken my pace and reached near the lantern and noticed a elderly man carrying it and walking in our direction. I walked more nearer and halted in front of him. He looked shock for a moment and then took in our look amused for a moment before I speak.

"Please!!please help us" I asked him but he looked confused and I quickly got he didn't understand english"hme madad ki zarurat hai.." I asked him again.

"Tumlog kon ho or is jungle me kya kr rahe ho..??"

"G..g..hm rasta bhatak gae hai.."I noticed him he looked at nandini for a moment before speaking.

"Tum agr sach bol rahe ho, to ye ladki is halat me kyu hai kahi tumne iske sath kuch..."I quickly interrupted when he snapped furiously at me.

"No please!!!ye..ye meri Biwi hai, please ise madad ki zarurat hai..please help us.."I pleaded worried and addressing nandini was the best option at that time.

"Tum sach bol re hona.."

Gohd!!he and his questions!!!

"Dekhiye please, meri biwi ko jaldi treatment chahiye, iski puri body dhandi pad rahi hai..please"i yelled my lungs out and he looked believing me.

"Jaldi aao mere sath, meri kutiya paas me hi hai, yaha se bahar nikal me ek ghanta lg jaegi is andheri raat me, to mere sath chalo.." I I nodded and followed behind her quickly.

We reached his shack quickly, it was a shack built by mud and roof is of straw, tendrils and branches with a lantern hanging on entrance. He quickly open the small door of his shack and asked me to follow inside. It has a small interior with some essentials and some religious stuff. I guess he is a priest. He asked me to lie nandini on a bed made of hay. I quickly lie her down but Nandini is still shivering we both looked at her worriedly and I told him about everything what happened back with her.

"Beta, iske sharir ko grmi ki zarurat hai, kyunki inka sharir bht zada thanda hai r unka nvs bhi bht dhire chal rahi hai.."he sid worriedly too

"To hm kya kare..??"

"Ruko pele main aag jala deta hu, r ye bistar isko thodi garmahat dega r haan aap iske kapde badal do kyunki ye gile kapde r nuksaan karenge,tb tk main bahar jake kuch aushadhiya like aata hu jise main kadaha bana saku.." he suggested and walked out from house after kindling fire.

I am alone in this shock, in a huge dilemma how to take her clothes. I didn't know how to do it and in morning how she will react but after thinking and fighting alot, I finally decided to get rid of her clothes so that it wont harm her further. I open-close my fist in nervousness and hesitation.

Eventually, I made her sit, holding her close to me. Then took my blazer from her which is even wet too, I traced her bare cold back to find zipper or something to tqke out her clothes. I felt a small zip on her low waist and hesitate to open it.

Why women even wear this complicated dresses!!!!

I slowly pull down the zipper and felt her pant border line on my fingers and quickly pull my hand back and felt a lil tempted but I quickly shook my head to get read of the dirty thoughts and try to treat Nandini. I then closed my eyes and slided the sleeves from her shoulders closing my eyes tightly. However, I pulled her cloth from her body and quickly made her wear my shirt. I slowly started to button it, consciously not to touch her any wrong places and again lie down her back but the problem is she is still quivering. I sit beside her and started to rub her palms and feet to give her some warmth.

I hear the door of shack opening and quickly grab a small sheet lying down beside me to cover Nandini's body because the thought someone seeing Nandini seeing her partially naked. It was the priest who came with some leaves and dry tandrils.

"Kuch aaram hua kya beta,tumhari biwi ko?" He asked concerned.

"Nahii, abhi bhi kanp rahi hai.."I replied worriedly not averting my gaze from her for a moment. Her face is gloomy and looking white with numbness.

"Beta main ye kahada banata hu or ye lo is lap ko iske ghav pe laga do, or muje lgta hai,jis tarah ye kaap rahi hai isse iski jaan ko khtra h, tumhe ise apne sharir ki garmi deni chahiye, muje pura yaqeen hai esa krne se ye subah tk bilkul thik ho jaegi or iski jaan bach jaegi.." priest suggested handling me a small bowl of daub and his last words made me startled and shocked. He frowned.

"Beta!!ese kyu dekh rahe ho, patni hai tumhari ye to fir itna ghbra kyu rahe ho..?" He asked suspected.

"Nahi..vo..vo..esa..nahi...h..bs..ma..main...main..thoda..dr..dr..gaya..tha.." I stuttered and he seems to believe and walked out from shack leaving me again alone with her fighting with my thoughts.

I cant do this, I can't!!!!!
