"I have a surprise for you Tin!", Frida joyfully announced at the cake testing the girl organized that Wednesday

She simply smiled for her friend instead of asking.

"Ask me, come on", Frida insisted

She smiled again half heartedly, "Ok, what is it?"

"Well, I've been to South and found a freaking great place for your bachelorette party!", her friend said it while throwing her two hands up high

Tin doesn't know if she will join her friend in her merriment or tell her to postpone it. She doesn't know if it's still right to marry Luke at that time. Then she thought, she doesn't have the heart to tell the girl about it after all of her effort. Frida already finished wedding invitations and already planned with Carl on her reception. Anything but the cake

"Something wrong girl?", Frida asked tilting her beautiful head

"You know where's Jb? She doesn't answer my calls since morning", she asked instead

"Yeah, this is her thing. Cakes and dessert. I'm texting her too actually", Frida replied

"I think I can't do this without her. You think it's better if we postpone it?", Tin asked, but she's hinting the marriage not the cake

Frida laughed, "Yeah, this is Jb's only contribution being deadpanned she is." That statement made her joined Frida in that laugh too

"Oh", Tin blurted when they seated on a cafe after the postponed cake schedule. She was looking at her phone

Frida took her eyes off in her phone and looked at her, "What is it?"

"Engr. Edward died last night. Mark texted me", Tin informed

"Who is he?", Frida asked on her styled hairdo again

"Jb's boss, remember? Engr. Monroe? Maybe that's why"

"I'm trying to call J but she's out of reach. Maybe that's why. You think we can leave her for now? Her boss is like a father for her", Frida suggested

"Yeah. You know the drill, the girl wants to be alone… but I will try to visit their office. We're one of their clients so I think I need to go there", she agreed

"Damn, what will happen in their company. Pancho will be taking the helm now", Frida assumed and she's right. Jb might be her boss' right hand but she's not the daughter nor a relative. Unless the younger Monroe took her for a wife

Silence took another air to both of them and it took a toll on Frida

"You have a problem", Frida announced

"It's nothing"

"O come on, Jb might say it's another girl's famous line", Frida uttered trying to copy their other friend's expression and voice

"Do you think…", she started, "Do you think it's a good time to marry Luke now?"

Frida gasped, "Because of Mr. Monroe? That's too much of being goody that you are Tin"

"No. It's not about him", she defended while looking down in her coffee

"Then why? Oh no, what happened?", Frida asked again. The girl was always thinking in advance being genius that she is

"I had a date with Luke last Friday", she opened

"Yeah I know. What did he do now?"

"We went to his condo after", Tin sighed

"And? And?", the other girl asked

"I saw Luke's other girl the morning after"

Frida's rounded blue eyes became twice it's size and accompany it with a dropped jaw, "What the heck!"

"She opened the door to the apartment and announced that she's Luke's girlfriend when she saw me."

"The fuck with Luke! What did you do after? I'm so gonna kill that guy", Frida swiped her phone and begun texting furiously

"No! Don't talk to him. He didn't know that the girl have a key and he said the girl is not his girlfriend but… you know", she defended Luke. As in, still defended Luke

"What is that? Friends with benefits?", Frida almost roared like a tiger

She shrug, "He said it's nothing now and he forgot about the girl. He said sorry about it. Right now I don't know if the wedding should be push through"

"Tin, if you're not comfortable about it, end this now. Don't think about everything I've done already. I know you're thinking about that", Frida advised

She hid her face on her palms swiftly, trying to hide her embarassment, "I don't know."

She felt a hand on her back and Frida suddenly spoke near her, "Tin, trust is a big word and it should play a big role in your relationship. If you have none then you are entering the relationship blind. You're hitting your forehead with a hammer"

She took down her palms and begun calming herself, "But I love Luke. Part of me saying give him a chance and another is that I don't trust what he said that it will be his last. I'm afraid there's another thing coming up from his closet and I don't know If can take it anymore. I thought I Olga's the last girl I'll face from his past"

"Wait, what does she looks like? The girl you said"

"Well, she's blonde, sexy, luminuous skin, younger than me I guess and she looks familiar", Tin informed

Frida lifted her brows, "Looks familiar? Maybe model? That's Luke's thing right? I mean before you and after you.… "

"Yeah, he called her Trixie. Why?"

Frida searched her phone. She's good at investigating when it comes to women, fashion and the next viral thing

"Oh, is she this?", Frida showed her phone screen to Tin

"Yes, she's an actress?", she actually asking herself

"Well it looks like we had an actress playing in our field again", Frida scowled. The girl's got an issue with actresses as one of it stole her boyfriend twice

"So?"

Frida sighed, "It's your call Tin. What are you gonna do? You gave Luke the benefit of the doubt or let these girls steal your guy again"

She went home emotionally drained from talking to Frida and her friend didn't offered any help because of the bitter taste of their last conversation. All she felt is that she's thankful her other friend is not in attendance during her outburst, or else….

Tin walked softly at her house' hall. It's almost midnight, Charlie and Candy should be already asleep. In the living room she found Luke sitting at her couch with papers on hand

Luke stands when he saw her coming. "How's the cakes?", he asked anxiously

She shrugged, "I'm not decided yet"

"I'm afraid you're going to cancel our wedding. I saw your eyes last weekend. It told me you're still undecided"

She saw that pained emotion in his eyes and she almost run to his side to hold his face

"To tell you frankly, I am thinking about it", she whispered

He run his hands on his hair and averted his eyes thinking. Then he gave Tin the paper he was holding

"What's this?", she asked softly

"It's a certificate of transfer of the land at Northern hills for you. If ever you want to cancel the wedding, at least you can have it. The plans are all finished. Already contacted J and signed the structural plans. I'm just waiting for your sign on the architectural part"

"You don't need to do this Luke"

"I can't live in a house without you and Charlie on it Tin. It's better that you have it, at least for Charlie. You do what you want now. I don't want to force you into something you don't want but I tell you Christine, I'll wait for that time. I'll work hard and wait for you to trust me again"

She sobbed on that statement and Luke came forward to hugged her, "I love you Christine. I deserve every seconds of waiting for you to trust me again"

"How about years?", she asked, still sobbing

"Even years", he whispered. "But please not decades, I'm not that patient"

She jabbed him, "So you are not willing to wait!"

"No, I'll kidnap you to marry me. That's too much waiting. We need to give Charlie his birthday gift. You know, another one", he smiled halfly

She smiled at him and encircled her arms around his waist, "Ok, let's not make him wait for long"
