Part 4

Linton's is an open style office. All of twenty staffs were lined in a group of fives. Senior architects like her were located at the further end of cubicle while their junior architects who were doing CAD drafting works were in the middle. Mark, whose the founder of the company located at a glassed room adjacent to her side. The set up was for them to easily communicate and to looked after the juniors. Only two monitors separated them from seeing each opposite co workers. There's two meeting rooms on the floor located at the sides of the office but still made of glass walls. Christine's workspace is at the farther end. She was the last one closest to Mark as the guy often called her in his room for some chat. Mark treats everyone equal and as a friend but nothing compares with how he treats Christine.

That Wednesday, even at the farthest location, she saw that familiar manly figure walking proudly and confidently towards the reception. The guy's armed again with a gorgeously looking assistant.

A message at her monitor announcing that their client from last day showed. It's Emma messaging to warned her.

Mark emerged from his office craning his neck then leaned towards her and whispered, "Why is he here?" as the client was escorted by their assistant. Mark sounded panicky yet put up his famous glorious smile. Seems like Emma alerted everyone. Their company uses a special in-house messaging device to transfer small files faster. Sometimes they make it as a chat system too, specially if they wanted to talk to other officemate discreetly.

"Mr. Roberts I thought you left for Caribbean?" Mark asked as Christine stand to follow her friend slash boss

"Well, I'm excited to see your proposal for my house," Luke said smiling and glanced at Tin's way

"We already starting to do some sketches and are still working on it," Mark replied while picking the under button of his dark suit.

"Oh come on," Luke said while fixing his suit too. Straightening his self more as he size up the tall, dark and handsome that is Arch. Linton. "I know there's something there to show it's already two days since our meeting"

Mark faced Tin and smiled apologetically, "Tin? Is it possible for you to show some of your preliminary sketches?"

"Of course she can!" Luke answered for her

Mark escorted their guests at one of their meeting rooms as she scrambled all the sketches she made on her desk. They were all in perspective and made by hand. Her work style is doing perspective by her hand first and when Mark wants the design, that always happened, she proceeds from giving it in their drafters for CAD works. It's a miracle that her hand didn't earned any callous from that, but of course there's a rainbow of colors on her hand already. Courtesy of using a lot of colors in drawing manually.

Christine released a deep breath first before she entered the room with her sketches

"Let me see," Luke took one of the papers of her work without asking her. He leaned his arms on the desk with his hands on his chin as he looked at it. Luke was an eye candy. Always will. His aqua blue eyes, manly brows, full lips and long face with three o' clock shadow said it all. His black hair was always combed neatly and it made his eyes prominent. He side looked at her and she blushed when she realized that she was caught ogling.

The guy smirked and returned his gaze towards the sketches, "it's looks bland for me"

"Well, we still need a little time Mr. Roberts," Mark explained

"You are known for being creative and advance in your field," Luke said

Mark looked at Tin for help. "The…. The location and what you want is rather risky Mr. Roberts. We need to put all those things under consideration but we are trying to make it possible," she stammered.

"Tell me Ms. Thomas, what effort did you do to make it possible," he asked still looking at sketches

"Actually, I'm considering of getting an engineer at this early stage so that we can explore a far more possibilities," she countered

"Now that's a good news," he looked into his assistant, "darling can you please clear my schedule on Friday? I want to set up a meeting again with Ms. Thomas and of course with Mr. Linton."

"Friday?" Mark and Tin asked in chorus

"Yes, if that's okay with you of course," he said in almost sing song voice.

"Of course, we'll work on it," Mark replied smiling but Christine knows his underlying nervous tone

"Are you sure we can make it on Friday? Shocks!" she asked her boss when the demanding guy left

Mark looked at her again in an apologetic smile, "I'm sorry Christine if I put you on this. Knowing you, I know you can make it possible even if there's some constraint."

"But I don't know what to do!" she reacted as she pulled her hair with her two hands on her side and Mark immediately swatted that

"Easy Tin, I don't want to lose your golden hair. It's such a nice thing to put to waste"

"But Friday!"

"Yes, Friday, can you render overtime?" Mark almost begged alongside his wincing

"Shocks...." Tin slumped her shoulders. "I'll try Mark, but I won't promise that"

"How about start it in by pulling the engineer from your pocket. Do you really have one?" he inquired his sparkling white teeth showing now.

"Well, I have one in mind. Called Monroe office earlier and sending me their top engineer," she smiled at last. Mark's smile is always infectious and that smile of his boss even got wider as he learnt whatever on her mind

"Aw, that's my girl. Tell me when your forever back up arrived," he winked

Luke was trying to reverse his car. He was driving it now as he sent his driver with his assistant to attend to some issues at the office while he travelled to one of his manufacturing plants.

Motorcycles was parked at the front of his car. They were not there earlier he hissed to himself. As he reverse his car, a motorcycle arrived, parking at his back fast. He frowned at the rider. He revolt his car to signal the rider that he is, infact, reversing but the rider looked at him through his helmet and parked it even more to block his way.

He lifted his chin to looked at the rider clearly. Judging from the sensual curves, it's not a he but a she! "Freaking women temperaments!" he groaned

Luke alight his car to castigate the woman, "Can you see? I'm reversing!" he shouted. She might thought that she can get away with it because she's a woman, but no, not with Luke Roberts.

The woman took off her helmet and came in a fucking pretty face in a long brown hair

"Hello tiger," the girl said that line in a low seductive voice

His frown became grin

This is going to be interesting he thought
