Duke and Jones took the boys to a new hidden location while Cam and Johnny were still out from the surgery.
Johnny was the first to wake.
He reached for Cam but he wasn't next to him like usual.
Johnny's heart started to race, his neck hurt and he didn't know where Cam was.
He started crying.
"Cam!" Johnny finally found his voice.
Jones was the first one in the room.
"Where's Cam?
What happened?" Johnny cried.
"Cam's in his own bed.
Over there." Jones pointed towards a window, it hurt to look over and Johnny chose not to force himself.
"Why do I feel numb?" Johnny cried.
"There was a medical chip integrated with your spinal cord.
Janet said you will be numb while you heal." Jones sighed as he sat on the chair combining his fingers through Johnny's hair trying to keep him calm and relaxed.
"Jones what was the medical chip for? Who put it there?" Johnny was able to look over at Jones but was still trying to reach for Cam as he gripped his sheet instead, tears started to well up.
"As soon as Cam wakes we'll push his bed against yours, he's doing good and responding to the treatment just like you.
The med chip was giving you boys hallucinations, causing your dreams to feel real.
Janet thinks it was giving you higher doses that caused the two of you to go into shock because it was trying to get you back into the dream state." Jones sighed.
"Who put it there?" Johnny was getting agitated.
"Johnny please relax.
Johnny do you remember when we were separated before going to the factory?" Jones asked as calm as possible.
"No I don't." Johnny said as he looked over as Cam finally.
Jones knew better.
Johnny remembers his first word, his first step, even the first time he loved Jones as his dad and hated him as his enemy.
Jones knows Johnny remembers that moment they separated them.
"Johnny please.
Its either me or Janet but either way your gonna have to tell one of us." Jones made him look at him.
"You sure Cam is okay?
Why isn't he awake yet?" Johnny switched gears.
"Johnny he's fine, you know he's a heavy sleeper, you never were.
Now please we need to know...
I need to know what happened." Jones scolded as he started to cry.
Johnny looked at him trying to tell if this was this real.
Was Jones actually concerned for his well being?
Tears welled up as Johnny tried not to remember.
"Please I don't want to think about it now." Johnny whispered as he looked away again to look at Cam...
"Morning Johnathan." Janet smiled as she came in to check his Iv and catheter.
"How are you feeling?" Janet smiled as she checked his vitals.
She took her pen and ran it on the bottom of his left foot.
Johnny giggled and wiggled his toes.
"That's a good sign." Janet smirked as she went to the right.
She didn't get the same response but he said he felt something.
"Its going to take some time till we know for sure if any damage was done.
Jones I want you to do some leg exercises with them when you come in." Janet said as she showed him what to do.
"Okay squeeze this ball for me in your left hand...
Good now your right....
Good its just your right leg..." Janet sighed.
"Okay Johnny can you name the animals on this chart?" Janet asked as she held the chart in front of him.

"Umm...
Dog, hamster, cat, rabbit, mouse, rat, bird, fert...
Ferraret..." Johnny knew it was wrong.
"Its okay.
I'll just mark that one and we'll work on it later.
You want to try some more?
Your doing good." Janet smiled.
"Another bird, chipmunk but it says squirrel." Johnny chuckled
"Fith...
F-i-s-h..." Johnny started to cry.
"Its okay Johnny.
Let's take a break.
"No I want to finit..." Johnny sighed.
"Janet whats going on?" Jones looked at her.
"The shock put to much stress on his brain causing so far any words with f seems to get scrambled.
I'm not a neurosurgeon." Janet sighed.
"Tuttle..." Johnny stopped when Jones sighed.
"Its getting worse." Jones mumbled trying to stay calm.
Janet pulled him out into the hall.
"Look when he first woke he was fresh, not focusing on things.
Now he is making his brain actually work and that chip could have done something, its all out of my control but you getting upset isn't helping him.
Right now you are still a threat to Johnny.
You getting upset is scaring him and yes it will get worse which he just proved with turtle.
Now either you calm yourself or stay out." Janet scolded as she walked back into the room with Johnny.
Johnny was smiling as he redid the ones he messes up on.
"Ferret, fish, turtle, chameleon, snake, spider, frog, lizard." Johnny smiled as he accomplished it.
"Good...
You just needed some time to let you relax and focus.
Okay need to check your temperature...
Perfect...
Now just relax and keep this." Janet gave him the squeeze ball.
She walked over to check on Cam.
"Morning bright eyes." Janet cooed as she moved Cam's bangs.
"Morning." Cam whispered.
Janet did all the tests with Cam and he passed all of them.
"Thats good." Janet smiled.
"Okay now as for Johnny I wander if they did something the first time to cause the confusion and numbness.
Since Cam is in perfect health.
As for withdraws we are pass that stage.
They slept through it because I kept them medically induced in a coma.
But I am still concerned." Janet said as she frowned when Johnny tried to mess with his coin and Cam with the deck of cards Daniel just brought him.
"See that's not right.
Cam is struggling with something that was natural to him." Janet pointed out as Jones looked at her like no kidding Sherlock.
"Janet can we put the beds together so they can be close?" Jones asked.
"I figured.
That's why I kept their medical needs on opposite sides." Janet smirked as she got Teal'c to push Cam's bed against Johnny's.
Together again they already seemed more peaceful.
"You know research has shown twins do heal faster when together." Janet smirked.
Jones went back in to sit with the boys.
"Cam what happened when you were alone in the city?" Jones tried to ask.
Cam looked at him like he asked for him to preform a death defying trick.
"Nothing." Cam said blunt as he laid down facing away from both Johnny and Jones.
"Maybe you should leave." Johnny narrowed his eyes at Jones.
Jones didn't say anything he did as Janet had asked, 'keep them calm.'
"Okay I'll come check on you boys later." Jones sighed as he walked out of the room.
Once alone the boys went back to talking and laughing.
"Clearly they remember something." Janet sighed.
"But both refuse to say." Jones mumbled.
"Well once I clear them we will return to that subject.
Right now we need to get them walking again and healed.
Which by the way.
Did you notice that the surgery sight is already healed up.
Almost as if I never had them open.
In fact their scars are fading.
Except the one on their wrists but even that is more faint for an old scar.
Scars don't usually fade." Janet pointed out.
"I saw that." Jones said as he looked back at the boys that were giggling at each other.
"I am going to go run a few tests on the blood samples I got." Janet said as she walked away...
Johnny looked at the door way and saw Jones looking in at them.
Johnny sighed as he saw the look on Jones face.
But went back to focusing on Cam.
"Johnny do you remember that day?" Cam half whispered.
"Yeah I do." Johnny mumbled.
"Me too." Cam frowned.
"Its everything we keep dreaming about isn't it?" Johnny looked at Cam with tears in his eyes.
"I think so." Cam sighed.
"You bugged their room?" Jones smirked.
"I figured they start talking to each other." Jordan shrugged.
Jones hugged him from behind and kissed the top of his head.
"Dude seriously." Jordan smirked as he pushed Jones away.
"So I guess that's what we tell them.
Dina knows about the dream." Cam shrugged.
"Yeah I guess." Johnny mumbled.
"Johnny did something more happen to you?
After they released me for training." Cam sighed.
"No." Johnny laid down facing away from Cam.
Cam rested his head on Johnny's shoulder.
"Come on its me...
We don't keep secrets from each other." Cam sighed.
Johnny rolled back onto his back and looked up at Cam who was sitting up slightly.
Johnny sighed as he snuggled closer to Cam as he started crying.
Cam started combing his fingers through Johnny's hair trying to calm him.
"Johnny what happened?" Cam whispered.
"They kept doing more tests.
They hurt, the louder I screamed the worse it was.
I passed out from the pain.
When I woke up I was strapped to this metal table, there was a boy next to me he looked...
He looked dead...
At first I thought it was you.
But than I saw it wasn't.
They told me they drained him to see what my blood would do for him.
They said they were going to drain me to for screaming.
They only stopped because the kid started shaking and just died as if my blood was killing him.
They unhooked me and through me back into that cell.
I don't even know how long it was but it felt like days.
They took me out and put me in this room.
They had all kinds of puzzles they wanted me to do, if I made a mistake they'd electrocute me.
I don't me a little shock, it was an all out electrocution.
I spent days and nights in that room, the only time I slept was when they electrocuted me and I passed out.
I had to memories stuff too and if I forgot they would again electrocute me." Johnny sobbed.
Cam never saw Johnny so broken and afraid.
Cam looked at the door where Jones stood.
Cam looked at him pleading him to come in and help.
Cam was scared too and with Johnny like this made him feel alone and unsafe.
Jones walked over and sat next to Johnny.
Johnny rolled over into Jones' embrace.
"Its okay Johnny your safe now." Jones hugged him and Cam.
"They tried to brainwash us.
They tried to get us to kill eachother at one point.
I almost did but Cam cried and screamed it snapped me out of it...
Than they wanted me to kill you when they let me go.
Figuring they use my fear against you.
They said if I didn't they were going to put Cam through all those tests and force me to watch as they slowly kill Cam.
Revive him and do it again.
I believed them, they were able to revive that kid." Johnny sobbed.
"Johnny why didn't you kill me?" Jones asked.
"You may have been tough on us but you always made sure we were safe.
I knew then you cared.
You held onto me as I cried that first night when I woke from that nightmare." Johnny cried.
"Its okay they can't hurt you anymore." Jones assured.
At this moment Jones knew he would have to hide the boys and train them so they could protect themselves when he is gone...
Jones stayed with them all night trying to keep them relaxed and feel safe.
Jonse laid in middle of them as he practically held them.
They did sleep more peaceful for once as Jones silently prayed for them as he soothingly tickled their heads keeping them relaxed.
Every so often Jones cried as he thought about what Johnny told him and how he wasn't there to protect him.
Jones looked over at Cam who was yet to say what all happened to him.
The way Cam cried in his sleep told Jones he was holding back.
Johnny was looking over at Cam thinking the same thing.
"I think he's keeping secrets." Johnny sighed.
Jones pulled him tighter and kissed him on the head.
"Maybe after hearing you he'll talk but don't press him.
You remember how you were when I kept pressing." Jones teased as he tickled Johnny's side getting a chuckle out of him.
"Jones...
Are we still allowed to call you dad." Johnny looked up at him.
"Its really up to you two." Jones smirked as he made Johnny lay his head and rest.
"I'll still call you dad." Johnny shrugged as he played with Cam's hair...
"Well little brother you got his trust." Duke smirked as he watched them on the monitor.
"I need you hack into the city database...
Of course before you get here...
Print out everything you find on the lab and medical records for everyone in the city.
I don't think they'll label the boys names.
Destroy the computer when your done...
Grow up I know you'll build a new one I'll help you okay." Duke hung up the cell phone...
The boys woke early and got out of bed.
Jones was still sleeping in the middle and never noticed them getting up.
Cam and Johnny took a quick shower and put on the sweats that were in the wardrobe.
"Did I ever mention I don't like sweats?" Johnny teased as he put on his sneakers.
"I don't know its comfortable." Cam stretched as he waited for Johnny.
They ventured around the new house this one wasn't fancy but it too had a library but they were in the mood to explore.
They checked the doors to make sure there were no alarms before opening them.
They both took a deep breath of the fresh air as they walked out onto the porch.
"Wander who use to live here before the war." Cam said as they explored the abandoned buildings.
"Who knows." Johnny shrugged as he picked up two wooden toys.
He tossed Cam the owl and kept the sitting wolf for himself.
"Johnny I think there's a waterfall nearby." Cam was beaming as he took off in the direction of the sound.
"What is with you and waterfalls?" Johnny chuckled as he ran after his brother.
"I think they're cool." Cam shrugged as he kept running.

"See now tell me thats not amazing." Cam panted as he almost went over the edge as Johnny caught him.
As Johnny hugged him from behind he caught his breath and slowed his heart after thinking of Cam falling over the edge.
Johnny slowly pulled him away from the edge as they both fell to sitting on the damp ground.
"You okay?" Cam turned to look at Johnny who looked pail.
"Peechy...
Cam you have to be more careful.
If you fell..." Johnny was half in tears as Cam wrapped his arms around him.
"But I didn't you got me." Cam smirked but Johnny didn't see the point, that was stupid of Cam.
"No Cam you can't just assume I always got you.
If I wasn't here you'd be dead or worse!" Johnny half yelled as he wiped away angry tears.
"What can be worse than dead?" Cam teased.
Causing Johnny to chuckle slightly.
"You know what I mean.
Cam if something happened to you I don't know what I do." Johnny sighed as he rested his head on Cam's shoulder.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you...
Johnny why suddenly so worried?
Other than the obvious." Cam asked as he tried to calm his brother.
"I had a nightmare.
We were at the lab again and they were doing all those horrible tests on you like they said they would.
They were killing you Cam and I couldn't stop them." Johnny cried as he buried his face into Cam's shoulder.
Cam hugged Johnny tighter as he sobbed.
Tears streamed down Cam's face  because he too was having the same dream but it was him watching Johnny die.
Cam chose not to burden Johnny with his own fear.
"Come on let's go explore.
Maybe there's a cave with hidden treasure in it." Cam was back in excitement mode.
Johnny chuckled at his brother's excitement.
"What are you twelve?" Johnny teased.
"What?
We had a deprived childhood.
Can you blame me?
Technically eighteen is still a kid.
Sure back in the day we were considered adults but we couldn't go to certain clubs or drink till we were twenty-one.
Well heck back in the city kids were a thing of the past." Cam shrugged.
"Cam what do you even know about back in the day?
It was long gone by the time we were born.
True the city never looked at any of us as kids we were like live stock." Johnny chuckled and sighed as he put his brother in a headlock while they walked.
"Wander what kind of treasure we'll find." Cam muttered as they walked.
Johnny was still shook from the dream he practically refused to let go of Cam as he kept his arm drapped across his brother's shoulders.
"Something from back in the day probably." Johnny teased.
"Treasure is always back in the day.
Like over three hundred years back in the day." Cam chuckled.
"Thats a bit of an exaggerating.
But than yet it would be cool." Johnny was getting excited of this possible treasure hunt himself...
