The clock struck 12:45PM in the HYBE building which meant that it was officially lunch time. Of course, to the guys, lunchtime could mean dinner or any type of snack throughout the day. They would be in their practice room 'till the time they get home, which is also unpredictable most of the time.

To Deiji, lunchtime had to be either right now or in the next hour. Her stomach was growling like a beast. Currently, she was busy playing on the blue couch with Jungkook's phone. With Hobi's help last time, she now knows how to charge it so she basically gets unlimited time on the phone.

It distracted her growling stomach-monster for as long as it could until it started to really bother her. "Mm..." She groaned and turned uncomfortably on the couch, trying to find a spot. "Ow..." She muttered to herself and she hugged her stomach.

She didn't realize she was that hungry.

All she had for breakfast was a box of strawberry pocky's and she devoured those hours ago. She was starting to get light-headed. She really needed to eat something.

She huffed out and sat back up on the couch. "I'm bored..." She muttered to herself as she explored the rest of Jungkook's phone. She left the game and just started looking around the apps.

After about 5 minutes, the lounge's door burst open. Deiji's soul jumped out of her skin with a yelp, the phone flying out of her hands then landing back on the couch.

"Sorry Ji-ah!"

"Oppaaa!" Deiji whined as she exhaled.

Jungkook laughed and put his hands up apologetically. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"

"Ugh!" Deiji groans and sluggishly rolls off the couch and onto the floor, faceplanting it.

"Ji!" Jungkook walks over and picks her up from her stomach. She makes her body limp, a sly smile on her face that she tries to hide. It was a "no bones" day for Deiji.

"The floor's dirty!" He scolds, holding her upright to see her smile cheekily. He can't help but smile back at her attempt to hide it which was unsuccessful. "I can see you're smiling." He says matter-of-factly.

Deiji giggles and hides her face in his shoulder. "No I'm not!"

"You are!"

"I'm not!"

"You are!"

"I'm not!"

"You are!" Jungkook breaks into a soft chuckle at their bickering. Deiji following suit, her laughter stopping her from replying with another "I'm not".

"Alright, alright." He says. "So-"

He was cut off by a low grumbling sound. His eyes landed on where it came from and raised an eyebrow. Deiji stared at him with wide eyes, her lips thinned. "Uhhh" She said, embarrassed.

"I'm guessing you're hungry, huh?"

"Yeah."

Jungkook turns to the clock. He was just supposed to pass by and check on Deiji then return to practice, but Deiji's stomach reminded him that he had a toddler to feed. He thought for a moment, circling the lounge, thinking of what he should do.

"Oh well!" He laughed to himself and texted one of the members to cover for him. Putting his phone back, he shot an excited look at Deiji.

"What?" She asked.

"Have lunch with me? Let's sneak out right now and go eat somewhere. I'm hungry too." He raised his eyebrows, awaiting her answer.

"Hmm..." Deiji pretending to think, teasing Jungkook. She kept thinking and thinking and thinking, making Jungkook wait.

"Aish!" Jungkook shook his head and started walking out of the room, not forgetting to get his other phone. "You are coming with me whether you like it or not!"

And with that, they wore their masks and escaped the HYBE building. They ran out the back door, avoiding any staff that might see them.

Jungkook didn't know where exactly he was speed-walking to, but he was speed-walking nonetheless. To others, he probably looked like some penguin late to a business meeting, but did he care? Nope.

"Where are we going Oppa?" Deiji asked, looking at where they were walking. It was the same route towards the convenience store that she and Hobi went to get ice cream in.

They passed more random stores until Deiji spotted a place in the street's corner.

"Ooh! How 'bout there!" She pointed, stopping Jungkook in his tracks.

"Hm?" Jungkook turned and saw the small corner store. It seemed popular enough as there was a small line waiting to order. "Pizza. Is pizza good for you?" He asked, nudging her.

"Mhm!" She nodded.

"Pizza it is!"

Jungkook walked right over and lined up. There wasn't a huge selection on the menu, just the regular things you'd find in a pizza place. It had a small eating area, but with the crowd in front of him, they wouldn't get a seat.

"Hello, what can I get for you two today?" The lady working there smiled at them. She waved at Deiji who returned a shy wave back.

A small laugh escape Jungkook. He scanned the menu once more. "We'll get a pepperoni pizza. Takeout for two."

The girl nodded and punched it into the register. "Just the small pizza? Nothing else? Drinks maybe?"

"Oh, right. Can I get just a large coke and is it possible to get just a regular cup?" He asked. "She can't finish a whole drink, so I'm thinking if just sharing."

"Yeah no problem! One large coke and a regular cup. Got it."

Jungkook paid with his card and soon after, they got their food. Deiji suggested that they'd eat in the park nearby. The same park that she and Hobi went to. Jungkook nodded and asked her to lead the way.

She really did lead the way. She was bossing Jungkook around on where to go.

"Left."

"Right."

"No not that right!"

"There is no other right, Ji."

"Then just the other side, over there!"

"That's left!"

Eventually, they did end up where they were supposed to be. They finally sat down on a patch of grass under a tree, overlooking the duck pond.

"Wow..." Jungkook said in awe of the view before him. "I didn't actually believe we'd end up anywhere with your directions."

Deiji turned her head towards him. Unimpressed.

"I was mistaken." He looked at Deiji, seeing her face. "I'M SORRY!"

The siblings laughed once again and started eating their pizza. Jungkook sat in an indian sit position with Deiji in the middle of his legs.

They silently ate their pizza as they people-watched, sharing their drink in the process.

Jungkook spaced out and smiled to himself. He reminisced on the non-existent memories he could've had with Deiji in the past years.

Ever since their debut, he's never gone back home. He never had the chance to.

He's never fully admitted it to himself, but the day he picked Deiji up from the train station was the very first time he's seen her.

He sighed, resting his head on top of Deiji's as she ate. He hummed softly to a soft tune.

Since then, he never wants to lose sight of Deiji. Ever. He loves seeing her from the very moment she wakes him up to the moment she shuts her eyes first.

"I love you."

"Hm?" Deiji tilts her head. He planted a kiss on her hair. She nods, chewing her pizza. "I love you too, Oppa."

A deep chuckle escapes him. "Don't talk with your mouth full."

There's silence once again. Not an awkward one, thankfully.

"Monday's coming up." Jungkook spoke again. "You nervous for school?"

"Mm..." Deiji takes a sip of the soda. "I dunno...I want to see Ash and Joy again."

"Yeah, they seem nice." He comments. "Have fun in school okay?"

She nods.

"If you're having trouble, you can go to your teacher about it. That's why she's there." He involuntarily brushes her hair between his fingers. "If you don't think she can help, you can tell me. You can tell Oppa."

He wanted her to know that he'd be there.

"Okay Ji-ah? Oppa will be here."

"Okay." She sat up on her knees and turned around to face him. She gave him a hug, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Deiji will be here for Oppa too."
