Deiji's been with the guys for an extra few days now, and Jungkook's been trying to find a pre-school for her.

He didn't even know where to start. He didn't think that the internet would actually show good schools, so he resulted in asking around. He asked a couple of the staff, his manager, and even Bang-PD.

His mother's words started to sink in when he realized all the extra responsibilities that started to weigh on his decisions. He didn't care that it was difficult. He got himself into this and he's going to do things right.

With all the people that he asked, he was at a dead end. Some replied that they didn't know any and apologized, while some said they'd check (which we all know means 'no' as well). He sighed out loud.

"Oppa?"

Jungkook turned his head. Right, he forgot he was walking with Deiji. "Yeah?" He replied. She smiled and held his hand. "Are you thinking again?"

He chuckled and nodded slightly. "Yeah, again." Deiji pouted and copied his deep sigh. "You're always thinking."

"There's a lot on my mind. I'm sorry."

Jungkook went to have a walk around the city with Deiji because she said she wanted to see what were the buildings around the company. He didn't have plans at the moment so he agreed. He dressed up in the most casual he can to not stand out so much. So far, it was working.

The pair continued to walk, they were exploring streets they've never visited before. Most were just brick houses, some were small restaurants, but there was one house that stood out. It was shorter than the surrounding buildings, but it was inviting.

There were sounds of children giggling and chit-chatting with one another, yet he saw no children on the streets.  Jungkook and Deiji decided to walk towards it. In the street of mediocre-sized buildings, there was a small house at the corner of the street. It had a slanted roof and all that. It stood out.

They walked closer and low and behold, it was...a school?

It sure looked like one. The house was small and L-shaped. An open area occupied the space inside. The area was covered by a wired fence, similar to those in school soccer fields. A playground sat by the corner, a small sand box by the fence, a few flower beds along the house's walls. It looked so cozy.

"Oppa, look!" Deiji pointed at a few kids playing around. They weren't hectic and rough. The kids seemed gentle and caring towards the things they played with. They didn't destroy the sand box, or step on the slide with their dirty shoes. Jungkook was impressed at the children's attitude.

"C'mon." He went over to the front door and opened it. A small bell attached to the top rang as they stepped in. The room was a bright pastel blue decorated with rainbows and drawings of trees. A young girl stood up from her desk and greeted the duo.

"Hello!" She said with a big smile. "Welcome to Bright! How may I help you?"

Jungkook smiled at the girl. He enjoyed her enthusiasm. Deiji was hidden behind his legs. They walked forward and stopped by the desk. "Hi!" He greeted. Jungkook wasn't sure of what to do as he had never enrolled anybody in a school.

The girl laughed. "What brings you here, kind Sir? I don't think I've seen you around before." She lets out her hand. "My name's Hannah! To the kids, I'm Teacher Hannah."

Jungkook immediately shook her hand and bowed. She didn't seem much older than him, but he decided she deserved the respect. She bowed back. "Nice to meet you, Hannah." He looked around, not really sure what he was looking for. He scratched the back of his neck and chuckled nervously. "Um, this is a school...right?"

Hannah giggled and nodded. "Yes, yes! This is a pre-school! Are you interested in enrolling your child?" To Hannah, he looked really young to be a father, though all she could see were his eyes as his mask covered the rest of his face. Jungkook shook his head "Oh, no not my child." He laughed and slowly pulled Deiji forward. "My sister, actually."

The little girl held onto Jungkook's left leg, fiddling with his pants. Hannah looked to the side and smiled. She kneeled down in front of Deiji and looked at her. "Hello!" She gave Deiji a small wave. "I almost didn't see you there! I'm Hannah! What's your name?"

Deiji smiled shyly. "Deiji..." She muttered, her voice soft.

"What a beautiful name! Nice to meet you, Deiji!"

The little girl looked up in surprise. She said her name in the softest whisper, yet the teacher heard it. Amazing!

Hannah stood back up and pulled out a lollipop from a glass jar on the table. "Here you go, sweetie!" Deiji smiled and took the candy. "Thank you, Seonsaengnim..."

Jungkook already loved it here. He honestly wished he studied here when he was a kid. The place looks so welcoming. "So...how do I do this?" He asked Hannah. "Oh, right!" She moved aside and left the desk. "Would you like a tour of the school before anything else?"

Deiji nodded. "Yeah!" she said with a burst of energy.

"Alrighty! Let's go!" Hannah opened the door behind her. "Shall we?"

Outside, they entered the playground. There were about 5 children running around and playing with each other. He looked around more and didn't see any other kids. He checked the time, it was a bit past lunch. "Where are the other children?" He asked.

"Since this is a kindergarten, the children start at 7am and end at 12pm." She explained. "The other kids have already been picked up by their guardians, so they're just waiting."

Jungkook and Deiji nodded as they listened to Hannah. They watched the kids play along. There were two girls by the sandbox. They looked up from their castle and smiled as they saw the newcomers. The girls stood up and ran towards them. "Annyeonghaseyo!" They waved and bowed.

One of them locked eyes with Deiji and stepped closer. "Annyeong!" She smiled and waved. "You have very pretty hair!"

"Thank you." Deiji whispered. She slowly stepped aside to hide behind Jungkook. "Teacher, why is she hiding from me?" The kid pouted. "I'm not scary."

Jungkook laughed and kneeled down. "She's just a bit shy. Maybe if you introduce yourself, she'll come back out."

"Ohhh!" The kids nodded. "Hello!" She greeted in English. "My name is Ayesha, but everyone calls me Ash!"

"Ash..." Deiji muttered. She looked up and smiled a bit. "Like the guy with Pikachu?"

Ash giggled and nodded. "Yeah! Only, I don't have a Pikachu with me. I'm just Ash...and I'm a girl!"

The other girl pushed Ash to the side a bit. She stumbled and almost lost her balance. "My name's Joy! What's your name?"

English again.

Jungkook looked up at Hannah. "The children speak English here?"

"Most of the students here are either mixed or full international. They speak English most of the time, but they're very good at Korean too." Hannah continued to explain. "The school is a progressive school which means that our system is based on the child's progress. Most of the fathers are business men and go on a lot of business trips and bring their family with them. With us being progressive, the children can just bring their worksheets on their trip and answer it when they have time. Once they return, we check the work."

"Oh, that's nice!" Jungkook smiled and stood up. "I might travel a lot later in the year, so this might be a good place to enrol Ji-ah in. At least she can still study."

Deiji had moved forward towards the two girls. "I'm Deiji."

Joy moved closer, tilting her head to the side so her ear was facing Deiji. "What was that? Sorry, I didn't hear you." Ash pushed Joy aside, much like she did a while ago. "Joy, she said her name's Deiji."

"Girls. No pushing." Hannah scolded. They stepped back a bit and apologized.

Jungkook was impressed at how Deiji replied to Joy's question. He didn't know his sister understood English. After a while, the tour continued.

Here's a little reference photo! The empty area in the lower left is the playground space

Hannah showed them to the classroom. It was just one room and it had 11 tables facing the wall and had a small divider between them. She explained that the children work on their activities and workbooks by themselves and that they had to do 3 pages of each subject before the day ends. The dividers give the students their own personal space. They have the freedom to decorate their tables if they want to.

Deiji looked around in awe. Some were neat and clean, while some were more messy, others had glittery stickers on them. "Wah..."

"What are these tables for, Teacher?" Deiji asked, leaning onto the four in the middle.

"Those tables are for exams. At the end of each workbook that you have, there's a small test that summarized everything in the book. The children have to sit there so that I can watch them!" Hannah smiled. Her heart warmed at the fact Deiji had already called her Teacher.

Soon enough, the tour ended. Jungkook loved it here, and so did Deiji. He was ready to sign the papers and whatnot. Hannah handed him things to fill out and he did so. He also explained that their mother was in Busan and it'd be best to just email the other documents to her. Hannah nodded and said she'd do it later in the day.

Ash, Joy, and the other kids have already gotten picked up and went home. Deiji's heart fluttered when the two girls waved goodbye to her.

I think they're my friends now

"Okay, I just need your name Sir." Hannah smiled. The boy had his mask on the entire time and she had to find out who was under it for identification purposes. "Oh, of course!" Jungkook laughed "Sorry, I forgot."

Hannah felt that she'd seen his eyes before, but she couldn't pin point it just yet until he took of his mask and introduce himself.

"My name is Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook."

That was it. Hannah's face went into a little shock when she realized who she'd been talking to for the past hour. "Jungkook? Like...from BTS?"

Deiji nodded. "Yes, yes! Oppa is from BTS!"

Jungkook hid his face in his hands and tried to quiet Deiji down. Hannah laughed at the child's playfulness. She was surprised, but she couldn't freak out. It'd look unprofessional and Jungkook probably would appreciate if she didn't start screaming at his face. "I didn't know you had a sister! I'm quite a fan of your music."

"Thank you! Yeah, nobody really knows I have one, and I'd like to keep it that way."

Hannah got the message and nodded. "My lips are sealed."

Jungkook shot her a bunny smile. "Thank you again for helping us enroll and stuff."

"No problem! I'm glad I got to assist you and Deiji."

"So, when does she start?" Jungkook picked up Deiji and sat her on his hip. She mentioned her legs were getting tired. Hannah pulled out a small schedule from her desk and handed it to him. "If you want, she can start tomorrow, but if you need more time, she can start on Monday next week."

Jungkook nodded. He thanked her once again and told Hannah to expect Deiji by next week. The little girl smiled and waved goodbye at her new teacher as they exited the school. Hannah waved back and saw them off.

On their way back to the building, Deiji had fallen asleep on Jungkook's shoulder. "Rest well, Ji-ah..." Jungkook whispered and pat her head.
