"I'm not saying you're doing it wrong..." Remus began. Sirius howled with laughter from the comfort of his bed as James detangled his antlers from the curtains for the third time this week. "But I think you should study more before trying again."

James sat on the floor, reverting himself back to normal. He threw a pillow at Sirius to shut him up. It'd been a solid thirty seconds of doing nothing when he said, "I'm bored." He rest his hand on his stomach, staring at the empty wrappers laying on the floor. "Anyone care for a trip to the kitchens?"

Sirius eagerly nodded, jumping to grab the invisibility cloak from James's bed. "You think they'll make me a grilled cheese?" he asked as his stomach grumbled at the mere thought.

"Reckon you better tell them it's not just cooked cheese," Remus replied. "I'm gonna stay back."

Peter frowned, grabbing Remus's arm. "Come on mate! It'll be fun!"

Sirius nodded in agreement, grabbing Remus's other arm; they pulled at him like kids at the market begging their mum to leave.  It wasn't until he felt a pop in his arms when he reluctantly gave in. Both Marauder's dragged the scrawny boy towards to portrait hole and slipped under the invisibility cloak. It was just barely enough for all four of them to fit. If Peter were as tall as the others, the cloak would lift and it would look like four pairs of shoes walking down the corridor.

"Sirius," James hissed, "That was my foot!"

"It wasn't me!" Sirius argued in defense.

"Sorry," Remus muttered.

"McGonagall!" Peter piped.

The boys stood against the wall in utter silence. James slapped his hand across Peter's mouth, Peter's on Remus's, Remus's on Sirius's, and Sirius's on his. They watched as their Professor walked by diligently. Her pace slowed as she past in front of the boys, glancing directly at Sirius, before continuing on her way.

They waited until she was completely gone before letting out their breaths. Scampering into the kitchens, they fell into the room, grateful to rid of the cloak. James folded the cloak onto one of the chairs and joined Peter straight to the elves to ask for food.

"I swear she's like some sort of alien!" Sirius exclaimed as he pried opened a box a Bertie Botts. "She looked right at me!"

"You're being dramatic," Remus said. Sirius shrugged, digging through the multiple beans. He pulled out a blue one and popped it in his mouth before tossing a brown one to Remus. "How do I know this isn't vomit or -"

"Trust me," Sirius said, nodding at the small bean in Remus's hand, his lips curling into a smirk.

Remus went against his better judgement and slowly chewed the jellybean. A pleasant smile broke onto his face as the flavor filled his mouth. Chocolate. He didn't say anything, as not to add to Sirius's already enormous ego, but Sirius knew. The smug look on his face said so.

"No need to thank me, but your welcome."

Remus rolled his eyes, but couldn't rid of the smile on his face.
