As we approached my car, Brady called out, "Hey North! We're here." The figure in black stopped what he was doing and came over to greet us.

"Hey Brady, Mrs. Williams." North said with a nod to each of us.

"We didn't officially get introduced to eachother. Please call me Delphine." I said to him with a smile. I started to extend my hand to shake his but realized that his hands were rather dirty from working on the car. North gave me a rueful grin and said, "I would shake your hand but mine are covered in grease and dirt." I smiled and agreed with him.

"So how the car looking so far? I'd like to take care of everything now." Brady said to him.

"Well, all the tires need changing so I'm doing that first. It still needs a tune up, new spark plugs and an oil change. Nothing too major. The engine's in pretty good condition but you probably want to get a paint job done for it sometime within the next year."

"Sounds good. Is that alright with you Delphine?" Brady asked me.

"Yes, whatever you think is best. I really don't know much about cars maintenance, so I bow down to your superior knowledge." I said to him with a saucy smile.

The guys both chuckled and started talking about wires and engines. I automatically tuned it out and just gazed around the area. Brady slid his hand from my waist into the back pocket of my jeans. His hand was warming my butt and gently squeezed me. I glanced up at him and his face gave nothing away. He just continued to talk to North. Maybe he was just doing it unconsciously, I thought to myself. I dismissed that as soon as his hand left my pocket and slid under the bottom of my coat to slide down an inch into the waist of my jeans. I stole another glance at him. The conversation between him and North had turned to construction but I could see a hint of a dimple. He was hiding a smile and he knew exactly what he was doing!

Well, I thought, two can play that game. I slowly placed my hand on his butt and waiting for a few seconds. Cautiously, I moved my hand down his butt to his upper thigh. Traveling down until my hand was about halfway down his thigh, I slowly slid my fingers up the inside of his thigh. I felt his hand tense and then move up my shirt and skim my side. I had to repress a shudder since it tickled. If he was going to up his game, then so was I! I brought my fingers up to just under his package and rubbed a little circle lightly. Brady's hand froze and he pulled his hand out of my shirt and pulled me to stand in front of him. I wanted to laugh but instead put my most innocent smile on my face as I looked up at him.

Right then a silvery grey BMW pulled up next to Brady's truck and a man got out. He was dressed in dark grey suit and dark red tie. His brown hair was cut short and he had glasses on. I estimated his age to be around 25 and he was a good looking guy. I watched him curiously as he walked toward us.

"Hello, Mr. Jenkins." He said to Brady. Turning his gaze on me he spoke, "You must be Mrs. Williams. I'm Owen Blackbourne. It is nice to meet you." and he held out his hand. I shook his hand and felt that I shouldn't ask him to call me by my first name. Formality oozed from him.

"It's nice to meet you too." I said politely. So this was the leader of the Blackbourne team? I realized that all his formality made him seem older than he really was. He couldn't be over 21 at the most. He seemed rather stiff and uncomfortable. Turning to North, he said, "Where might I find Miss Sorenson? In your trailer or the house perhaps?"

North replied, "Baby is watching TV in my trailer with Luke. I fed her breakfast so she's good to go."

Mr. Blackbourne nodded and walked towards one of the trailers. Wow, I thought. He had me calling him Mr. Blackbourne in my head! After knocking, he went inside and shut the door. I started to take a step to my car but Brady's hands on my waist kept me there standing in front of him. He leaned down to whisper in my ear, "You little devil. I still need a minute to recover." I smiled and patted his hand.

North gave us a smirk and went back to working on the tires. I turned around to face Brady while still blocking the front of his body from view. Placing my hands on his chest I said to him, "You started it, so I finished it!" He chuckled and replied, "Buttercup, it's not over yet and I will finish it later." I tiptoed up to give him a little kiss and he deepened it, his strong arms pulling me up off the ground. I almost forgot where we were until a wolf whistle rang in the air.

I pulled my face back from Brady's and looked for the source. Luke from the diner was standing a few feet away laughing at us. Brady looked amused while I was embarrassed. He let me down gently until I was steady on my feet.

"Shut up Luke!" commanded North and he stalked towards him. Luke took off running and then stopped short when Mr. Blackbourne came out of the trailer holding a pink overnight bag in one hand and a petite blonds hand in the other. It was Sang from the diner. Leading her towards his BMW, he gave a warning look to Luke. It was like he knew what had gone on. "I suggest Mr. Taylor that you refrain from trying to embarrass people. Heaven knows how Mrs. Williams might retaliate."

Luke looked surprised then grinned at me, "Awww... what can she do to me?"

I raised my eyebrow and gave him my best mom look. The cocky smile started to fade from his face.

"You might want to reconsider your question Luke, she is capable of keeping 5 grown men in line and that includes me. I doubt that she will have any trouble taking care of an 18 year boy like you." Brady told him with a big grin.

I caught Luke's eye. I smiled and said, "Expect the unexpected Luke!" I heard Sang giggle and turned my head to look in his direction. I caught the tender look of love on Owen's face as he gazed at her. It was fleeting and his normal expression was back on his face as he opened the car door for her. He got behind the wheel of the car and they both waved at us before driving away. I changed my opinion of Owen. He might have been stiff and formal, but he was not cold hearted.

Luke apologized to us and excused himself to go in the house. North got back to work and Brady walked over to him and asked him about the length of time that he needed with the car. North asked for a few more days since he also had to work shifts at the diner and had a few Academy jobs lined up. Brady looked over at me and asked if that was alright. Since I didn't have a job to get to anymore and my guys were driving me everywhere anyways, I agreed.

I walked over to Brady and asked, "So what's next?"

"I need to go to the hardware store to pick up a few things and then the grocery store next." he answered me.

"OK, let's go then!"

We got back into his truck and soon we pulled up to an area with a big chain hardware store and other different stores next to it. Brady grabbed a cart and I followed him. Inside there was a fair amount of people buying different things. Brady headed us over to the aisle with lumber and picked out planks of different lengths, then took us to a few other different aisles with various screw, nuts, bolts and other things.

We passed by a few male employees in their twenties and they turned their heads to look at us. I could feel their eyes staring behind us. I turned my head to look back and caught them staring at my butt. Feeling self concious, I turned to Brady, "Is there something on the back of my jeans?"

Brady looked gave me a quick look over the back of me and said, "No, why?"

"Those guys are staring, so I though that I got paint or something on my pants."

He looked their way and quickly they turned their heads and started to walk away. Brady smiled at me and said, "There's nothing on your pants. They were just admiring your cute ass. It looks fantastic in those jeans and with the high heeled boots..." he shook his head. "I don't blame them for looking." he added and gave me a pinch.

I jumped a little gasped out, "Brady! Someone might see!"

"Don't worry Buttercup, nobody saw it."

I tried tugging down my coat to cover my backside but it wasn't long enough. Giving up, while Brady laughed at me, I gave him a look and shook my head. He took one hand off the cart and tugged me closer to him. He kept my hand in his and placed it on the cart handle as we passed by the checkout counters.

I gave him a confused look and asked, "Is there something else you needed?"

"Yeah, I wanted you to look at the garden department so that I can get an idea of what kind of herb garden you want."

"But Brady, it's almost winter. I can't plant one now! Besides, how did you know that I wanted one?"

"Almost every good cook has one. You are a fantastic cook so you should have one too. I plan on building you your own greenhouse in the backyard."

My eyes widened. "You don't have to do that Brady! I can just..."

He cut me off with, "Nope! Not going to change my mind."

We walked into the garden department and immediately went to the herb section. I was pointing out the different ones that I liked to cook with when a woman appeared in my line of sight across the display table. She gave Brady a sultry smile and leaned down to inspect some plants and gave us a view of her cleavage. I glanced at Brady to see if he was looking at her but he was looking at me.

He stepped closer to me and said, "Have I told you today how crazy I am about you?"

"Oh, um, no?" I said surprised.

"Well, I am very crazy about you." Brady told me and leaned down to kiss me. I melted into him and forgot where I was for a few seconds.  Pulling back a little, I confessed to him, "I'm crazy about you too Brady." He smiled big and gave me another kiss. "That's good to hear Buttercup."

We finished up there and went to the checkout counter. After he loaded up the back of his truck, we drove towards a grocery store. Inside of the store we filled up the cart with items I thought that we would need for the next few days along with snacks that the guys liked having around. I teased him about it.

"What's wrong with beef jerky? Or peanuts and pudding cups?" he protested.

I laughed, "Because it's Frat Boy food!"

"Hey, we don't party like Frat boys!"

"I know, you guys don't even drink!" I threw my arms around him.

"That's right Buttercup. We like to keep our wits about us. Never know when a job will pop up."

I nodded thoughtfully. "That makes total sense. I guess it's a good thing that I don't drink either huh?"

"And that's just another reason that you are perfect for us."

I smiled at him and we grabbed a few more things before paying for the groceries.

I helped him load the groceries into the backseat of the truck's cab and my stomach growled a little. Brady noticed and said, "I think that it's time to grab some lunch. I'm hungry too. Let's go Buttercup."
