Two updates in one day! Does it get better than that?

"There! Doggy's bow is fixed."

Lexine went back to playing and I straightened up and saw that Wyatt was back. He came forward and pulled me to the couch to sit between him and Brady. He handed me a familiar white box. My eyes widened.

"An iPhone? That wasn't necessary! These are expensive!"

Wyatt rolled his eyes at me and said, "Just open the box to make sure that you like it."

"Of course I'm going to like it! You've seen how much I love my iPad! I saved up months to get it."

"Open it!"

I opened the box to find an white iphone with a beautiful peacock blue case.

"I love it!" I said and launched myself at him. I must have caught him off guard because as he wrapped his arms around me, he lost his balance and fell off the couch with me on top of him. Thud! He landed on the floor. Oh my God! I think that I broke Wyatt!

 He groaned and I felt even worse. Instead of thanking him, I accidentally hurt him! His eyes were shut and I reached up with one hand to cup his cheek.

"Wyatt, are you ok?"

"Yes, I'll live. I think that you took my breath away." he said with a smile and opened his hazel eyes. He put one hand over mine on his face. We stayed like that for a few seconds just gazing into each others eyes. The moment was broken when Lexine came over to inspect us.

I got off of poor Wyatt and Lexine patted his head and looked around his face for any injuries. Then she lifted up his shirt to check his stomach and chest. I did notice that he was very fit and I could see his lean muscles. I started to laugh and Brady did too. Lexine seemed satisfied that he was ok so she patted his shoulder and went back to her dog.

"That was priceless! I got it all on video!" Brady told Wyatt.

"Don't you dare send that!"

"Too late, I already did."

Sure enough Brady's phone was making dings sounds from replies.

"Hey Buttercup, send everyone a group text so that we can save your number in our phones."

"OK. There it's done."

"Perfect."

Brady's phone let out another ding. He read the text message and let out a groan. "Duty calls. I have to go to work." He stood up and pulled me into a big hug.

"Don't forget what we talked about." he murmured against my head.

I nodded and hugged him back and then let go.

"Hey baby bird, come say goodbye to me!"

Lexine came running over and he swept her up in a hug and kissed her cheek. She patted his in return and he set her down, gave Wyatt the man's chin nod and left.

"What? No hug for me? I'm so unloved." Wyatt complained.

I laughed and asked him, "What time do you have to go to work?"

"I don't. I took the day off so I am yours all day today! Did you have any plans?"

"Um, no other than look for a job."

"You can work on that tomorrow." I rolled my eyes at his pun.

"Let's have some fun today! I'll show you guys around."

"Oh, that sounds nice." I smiled at him as he stood up and took my hand in his.

"OK then, you girls get ready to go. We will leave in about 15 minutes."
