I woke up the next morning and yawned. The sun's light stremed in through the blinds. I sighed and got out of my bed. I went into the bathroom and got dressed into a t-shirt and jeans. I went into Suzie's room and found that she was already awake because her bed was empty.

I made my way downstairs and found everyone but Blake sitting at the table. I sat at the table and poured myself a glass of orange juice.

Lilly and my dad seemed to be looking at each other, kinda like they were having a mental conversation. I shrugged it off and started eating some cereal.

We heard some shuffling upstairs and we knew it was Blake. After a minute he came down and sat in one of the chairs. There seemed to be and awkward silence in the kitchen. But it was interrupted by Suzie laughing. It wasn't a hysterical laugh, it just seemed like an awkward laugh.

"What's so funny?" Cole asked.

Suzie shrugged and ate her cereal smiling.

I raised an eyebrow like everyone else.

"What?" Suzie asked once she noticed we were staring.

"You laughed," I said, "Can you tell us why?"

"Nope." She said.

What the heck? She just laughed and she won't tell us why. God I have a weird sister, but I love her anyways.

"Ummm kids, we have....news." Lilly said.

"Yeah a suprise for you guys," my dad added.

"Oh my god!" Suzie yelled, "Am I getting a little brother!"

I choked on my cereal, and the Cole choked on his milk, while Shawn accidentally spilled his orange juice, and Blake bent his spoon.

"WHAT!" We all yelled.

"No no no!" Lilly replied, "God no!"

My dad who had choked on his coffee was nodding, "No not that."

"Awwww but I don't want to be the little one anymore. It's no fun," Suzie said pouting, "This better be a good suprise."

I sighed of relief. God Suzie scared me there. I don't want another brother or sister, I already have the three from hell, and Suzie is like a bunny rabbit on a sugar high. Well she can be sometimes. I looked over at the guys, they seemed to be thinking the same.

Shawn scrambled to get some paper towels and clean the OJ. When he was done we all looked at our parents.

"We believe you four need to spend more time together," Lilly started.

Oh shit I don't like the sound of this.

"So we rented a lake house for the weekends and we're going to be spending it there." My dad said.

"WHAT!?" The four of us yelled.

"No I need to be practicing for football and soccer!" Blake said.

"Yeah I need to practice for lacrosse!" Cole yelled.

"I'm not gonna go to some god forbidden lake house! We need to practice!" Shawn said.

"I was gonna hang out with my friends!" I added.

Blake smirked, "I'm sure."

"Oh my god! A lake house!" Suzie yelled, "Can I like ride a BOAT! Daddy this is gonna be so much fun!"

My dad smiled at Suzie, "At least one of us is excited."

"I'm not going," I said.

"For once I agree with her," Cole said.

"Ok so how about you three tell me what you learned about Tori these last few weeks," Lilly said, "If you know enough then we won't go."

"Fine," Shawn said, "She likes to play video games."

"She likes riding her bike," Cole said.

"She used to play soccer," Blake said.

"Those don't count because we were around when she said that," Lilly said then she turned to me, "What did you learn about them?"

"Well Cole taught me how to make a spit ball, Shawn knows his history, and Blake REALLY likes art class." I smiled at the guys who were glaring at me there faces red with anger.

"What? Since when have you liked art Blake?" Lilly asked. I laughed.

"Thats not enough, we're going to the lake house." My dad said.

"What? Dad I don't wanna go!" I said.

"I DO!" Suzie yelled.

"I am not going," Blake said stubbornly and sat back in his chair

"Fine then you can't play this year," Lilly said, "That goes for the three of you."

"Mom thats so unfair!" Cole yelled.

"And no license until I think you deserve it," My dad said to me.

"Take it," I said back. Oh god did I just say that to my dad. The table grew silent at my smart remark.

"What did you just say?" My dad said. The guys stared at me, knowing I just crossed the line. The tension was thick and it took everything in me not to laugh. You know those moments when your in really big trouble and you just want to laugh? Yeah I'm in that situation.

"Well dad, considering I use my bike half the time, I don't care if you take my license. " I said matter of factly.

"Your going and thats final. Go pack we're leaving in an hour," My dad snapped at me.

I got up to leave but my dad interrupted, "Young lady give me your license, now."

I didn't even hesitate, I pulled out my wallet from my back pocket and opened it up. I placed the license in my dad's hand and gave him a fake smile.

"There you go daddy," I said and headed upstairs to pack my suitcase.

Once I got in my room I locked the door and jumped on my bed, screaming into the pillow. It was muffled but as long as I got the anger out I was fine. When I was done screaming I headed to my closet and grabbed my suitcase. I put in a full body swimsuit and some extra clothes for the weekend. Then I grabbed my camping back pack. I mean why not bring it, it might come in handy.

When I was done I headed outside my door, but stopped when I heard talking.

"Mom we need our uniforms washed for next week. We have tryouts." Shawn said.

I took a peek and saw Lilly in the laundry room with the boys. They were holding their football uniforms. It was a plain white with a black strip around the shoulders and hem. A smile creeped through my lips.

"Ok put them in the basket I'll clean them and when we get back fro the trip they'll be clean. Ok?" Lilly said.

"Yeah, sure." They grumbled.

"Mom do we have to go?" Cole asked.

"Yes and your father-"

"STEP. Our step dad." Blake snapped.

Lilly continued, "Your step dad is already mad so hurry up and make your bags."

I quietly ran back to my room and closed the door. I heard the guys go into their rooms and Lilly start making the laundry. I smiled to myself and looked outside the door. I went into Suzie's room and into her sock drawer.I finally found the sock I wanted and I went back into my room. I heard Lilly leave the laundry but the machine was turned on, so she was cleaning the clothes. The guys were still in their rooms so I rushed to the laundry room, put the sock in the machine and ran back to my room.

I grinned to myself for a minute then calmly grabbed my suitcase and bag and headed downstairs. I put the stuff down with my dad's and Lilly's. Then I headed to the backdoor.

"Where are you going?" It was my dad. Damn I really have to look around before I head out the door. They always catch me.

I turned to face him, "I gotta go clean my bike, why?"

He had my license in his hands, twirling it around his fingers, "I don't like you doing that Tori."

"Cleaning my bike?" I asked dumbly.

"No, talking back at me."

"Oh, well sorry." I said.

"Tori its not funny." He sat up and looked at me with seriousness in his face.

"I was just stating the truth dad." I said back.

"Well I don't care if it's the truth, you don't talk back ok?"

"Ok, now can I go? I have to clean my bike."

He waved his hand excusing me. I muttered a thanks and left. I entered the shed and pulled out my bike. Grabbing a bucket, sponge, soap, and a rag from the garage, I started working.

I brought the bike to the back yard and started scrubbing the frame of my bike. The guys came to the backyard and watched from the porch.

"Oh hey guys," I said giving a fake smile, "Thanks for painting my bike. Looked great." I smirked.

They didn't say anything they just watched, which made me feel awkward. I mean what if something totally embarrassing would just happened. They would never live it dowm. Never. I mean what if my pants just ripped, or a bird pooped on my head. And if they took pictures then send to the gazillion friends they have, then I'd be screwed at school. Its not that I cared what they thought, what scared me was the thought of what they could do.

But I kept cleaning my bike like nothing ever happened. Once I was down I got up, cracked my neck and poured the excess water into the forest. I placed my now clean bike in the shed and walked inside the house, passing the guys as I did so.

"You ready?" My dad asked.

"No," I muttered, "How far away is this place?"

"About an hour." Lilly replied.

"We're taking my car too, right?" Blake asked from the doorway.

"Yes you are," Lilly said, "Because the four of you are gonna be riding in the same car."

"Pardon?" I asked.

No, no, no, no, NO! There is just no way I am doing that! No. Way.

"You heard her," my dad said.

"Mom! Bill!" Shawn yelled.

"There is no way I am riding in the same car," Cole said.

"I'm not letting her in my car!" Blake said.

"I don't want to ride in their car!" I yelled back.

"Well the suitcases are all in, so lets go." My dad said ignoring us.

"Wh-what about Suzie?" I said waving my hand in the direction where my nine year old sister was.

"She'll be riding with me and your dad." Lilly said.

My dad, Lilly, and Suzie made there way out the door.

"No way in hell I'm getting in your car," I said once they were outside.

"Don't worry," Blake said angrily, "No way in hell I'd let a bitch like you in my car."

That comment didn't get to me. Right now, all I wanted was to not get in this car. For starters its mini van, yes. But Blake would drive and either Cole or Shawn would be shotgun, then I'd have to sit with the other one for an hour. God help me, I silently prayed in my mind.

We all walked outside and I saw Lilly in the shotgun of my dad's car. My dad was talking with her through the window and Suzie was already buckled in. I walked over and opened the door.

"Not so fast young lady," My dad said, "Go get in the car with your brothers."

"There not my brothers, and I'm not getting into their car." I said. The guys stood behind me.

"Bill can't she ride with you? All we're going to talk about are strategies for foot ball and soccer." Cole said.

"And we'll be talking about other stuff like that." Shawn said. When he said 'stuff' I smirked, knowing what he really meant.

"Well thats great your going to talk about strategies maybe Tori can help you," dad said lightly patting my back.

"Boys," Lilly said from the window, "Let Tori in the car, ride with her for one hour or its no football season for the year, got it?"

The guys grumbled.

"Get in the car Tori," Blake said. Wow he really likes sports. I mean so much that he is actually wanting me to get in his car.

My dad smiled and walked around his car and into the driver's seat.

"Get in the fucking car bitch," Blake spat out now that my dad couldn't hear him and Lilly had rolled up her window.

"I'm not going in there." I said stubbornly.

"Get. In. The. Car." Blake said.

"God Blake it sounds like your gonna kidnap me." I said.

"Tori just get in the damn car," Cole said.

I muttered something under my breath that made the guys turn red with anger. I walked to the car and opened the door. My dad and Lilly watched from the rearview, I fake smiled at my dad and got in Blake's car. Like I had said, Blake took driver's seat, Shawn took shotgun, so that left Cole to me sitting in the back with me. I put on my seatbelt and Blake started the car. All he had to do was follow my dad, so that shouldn't be to hard for him.

I sank back in my chair, this was gonna be a long ride.
