With tears pouring down my cheeks, I run away from my problems. From everyone. From everything.

I finally arrive at a park with a pond. I crouch into a ball and cry into my arms, right beside the water. I felt so weak and broken.

Not to mention pathetic... Here I was sobbing, when I was safe and alive, meanwhile Jungkook was kidnapped from robbers that were arrested due to my actions.

"Why are you crying?" I heard a whisper from a few feet away.

I looked up and saw a dark shadow.

     "It's complicated..." I managed to reveal.

     "You can tell me. I think I'd understand," she whispered again.

I examined the figure and realized they seemed familiar. Although it was dark, I could recognize their silhouette.

    "Wait, are you that girl from the party?" I asked.

    The figure steps one foot closer. They're wearing the same dress as me and the huge mask they were wearing before.

    "Perhaps."

     Although I was sad, I was very curious what the identity of this creepy girl was.

I bombard her with questions. "Who are you? Why do you always run away from me and cover your face? Why do you have the same unique sweater as me?" I take the knitted jersey her friend gave me from my bag and hold it up so she can see.

She bites her lip. "Oh you found out... well I can't give you all the answers. At least right now. But Jungkook needs you right now."

"Huh? How do you know that.. I didn't mention you to him." I was puzzled.

"I know a lot more about your life than most. He's kidnapped and he needs your help or he won't survive."

I'm bewildered that she knows that about me. Only Taehyung and Jimin know this and they were the supernatural creatures who got me into this mess. "H-have you been following me?" I stuttered.

"Yes," she shamelessly responds.

"C-can I at least see your face? Can I know your identity?" I asked.

She shakes her head. "No, but you've definitely seen my face before. You know a lot about me too, including some of my secrets. I'll let you know who I am...one day. I promise." She raises her hand up to indicate she's not lying.

"A-are you my guardian?" I wonder.

The mask covered most of her face, but I could tell she was smirking. "Yeah, let's go with that. But please go, Jungkook needs you. He doesn't have much time. You're the only one who can save him."

I look down. "I don't know... ever since I've gotten involved in his life, I hurt him more. My actions may have resulted in his kidnapping... what if me getting involved again makes things worse?" I confessed.

She shakes her head. "You really can't make it worse. Believe me when I say this, Jungkook is in grave danger. The longer you wait...the closer Jungkook is to dying."

My face immediately gets pale from getting hit with reality. "O-okay. You're right. I need to let my own feelings go, and focus on him."

She grins. "Good. I believe in you."

I wipe my tears with the sleeve of my shirt. "Thank you so much for the support. Do you have any advice as to how I can find Jung-" I look up but she was gone.

For a few minutes, I walk around the park aimlessly to find her. But there was no sign of her.

I rub my head. "It doesn't matter where my guardian is. I can't waste time when I need to save Jungkook." I went back to the club and find Taehyung and Jimin, right outside. They ran towards me.

Jimin wraps his arms around me. "Thank God you're safe!"

I was repulsed from his proximity. This was the same guy that Taehyung cheated on me with.

"Yeah, of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" I grimaced in his grasp.

He lets go of me. "The main reason that I came to this party was to give you this ring. It contains a jewel that protects you from demons and evil entities-I knew you'd need this after Satan found out about you being on a mission to save Jungkook." Jimin takes out a gorgeous ring from his pocket and places it on my finger.

"It's absolutely stunning but why would you do this for me?" I inquired.

"Because I'm your protector from heaven," Jimin replies.

"No you're not. I already have a guardian," I informed him.

"That's impossible. I'm your assigned one and no human can have more than one guardian." Jimin was puzzled.

"Huh, then who was I talking to at the park?"

"What do you mean?" Jimin questioned.

I explain about the strange girl who was following me for weeks.

"Perhaps...she's a demon?" Taehyung proposed.

"No way, she looked like a human to me," I assured.

"Well, demons can appear to look like human on the Earth...but some of them are known to have very grotesque faces and try to cover them as much as possible," Taehyung explained.

My eyes widen. "That's exactly what she does! Everytime I see her, she's always got a mask or scarf covering most of her face!"

"Well there you go then, you were probably interacting with a demon," Taehyung shivered.

"And she tried to kill me once too... Remember when I told you about a shadow-thing following me home? It also had a woman's voice!" I exclaimed.

"You have to wear this ring at all times to protect yourself," Jimin begged me.

I nod. "Okay. But how do we find Jungkook now?"

Taehyung and Jimin looked at each other. "it's 2 AM...Perhaps we should rest a few hours until all the stores and facilities are open."

      Should I rest with them? Taehyung was the half devil thing that cheated on me, and Jimin is apparently my guardian... I shouldn't be alone with them,  but if I went home, it would be difficult for my parents to let me leave the house besides for school.

     And most of the stores and places were closed, like Taehyung said. And his power was weakened, so we wouldn't be able to teleport anywhere either.

I agreed. "You're right. The night is a lot more dangerous anyways. But where are we going to sleep? I can't go home yet because I lied to my parents that I would be away on a class trip until Monday."

"I've been on Earth a few times before and have connections. We can try to get a hotel for tonight," Jimin assured me.

Hotel? Nothing weird should happen...right? Taehyung has never physically hurt me...but emotionally? That's a different story.

"Uh, okay," I nervously replied. Jimin calls a taxi and we travel to the hotel.

"We're almost completely booked. The only suite we have available has only one bedroom," The manager at the front desk yawns.

Jimin nods. "We'll take it."

We use an elevator to reach the suite that was on the eleventh floor. We entered and Jimin points to one bedroom.

"You can sleep in that room meanwhile, uhh..."

"You both will share the other living room. The man I was dating and the man who he cheated on me with will rest in a room together. Got it," I bitterly replied.

"Never mind.. perhaps that may not be a good idea..." Taehyung scratched his head.

"Of course it's not! Do you have no shame? Hours ago, I was trying my best to stay loyal to you. I had to pretend to be Jungkook's girlfriend tonight but I hated every minute because I knew it would hurt you. I was always thinking about you the whole night. But of course the second I saw you, you were making out with sleazebag Jimbo!" I snapped at him.

Taehyung bites his lip.

"How could you do this to me? I agreed to your stupid deal, went back in time, you confessed your feelings to me first, and I even gave you my first kiss! But you couldn't even stay loyal for one single week!" I began tearing up again.

Taehyung pouted his bottom lip. "Y/n, it's so much more complicated than that. I'm so sorry-"

My whole body trembled with anger and regret. "Well I'm sorry, too. I'm sorry for being naive enough to let a deceitful devil to break my heart." I ran inside the bedroom and slammed the door.

After I️ finish 28 Days in a few months, I'm going to be working on my Historical fanfic (main lead: Taehyung, second lead: Jimin). It's about a girl from a royal family in the 13th century who wants to stand up for the poor and becomes a secret local fighter. She's scared to reveal her identity and Taehyung was the one who inspired her to do it in the first place.

This was such an emotional chapter LOL and i think the next one will be too.. dont worry the action is coming soon ;)
