The next day at school, I nervously walk into 1st period English class. Jungkook was already there in his regular seat, grinning in my direction. He never comes to class early. Why was he smiling at me? We literally fought yesterday.

Ji Hee bumps past me and hits my shoulder with her Burberry handbag. She scurries and sits beside Jungkook. But he says, "Nah I don't want you to sit next to me, I want y/n."

He smiles again and taps the seat next to him. Everyone stares at me and I nervously sit down.
Ji hee rolls her eyes, but she still stays near our desk.

"I swear I'm going to find that Victoria's Secret Scammer and I will punish that person. All actions have consequences!" she pounded her fist against mine and Jungkook's desk.

Jungkook replies, "I know right? What a sick prank. He or she is definitely a lot closer than we think..they're probably in this classroom, probably someone who usually comes to class early.." He winks at me.

Ji Hee smacks her palm against her forehead. "Oh I know who it is! It's Fred!"
Jungkook exclaimed, "Why do you guys usually blame Fred? He isn't even part of our English class!"

"I don't know. He just seems too suspicious. Someone who's that invested into his books probably holds a dark secret," Ji Hee explained.
Fred moonwalks into the room and points his fingers at Ji Hee. "You got that right, baby!" he clicks his tongue than walks backwards on his way out.
Ji Hee gags in disgust. Okay not gonna lie, I lowkey ship Ji Hee and Fred.

But that's how it went for the next day as well. Jungkook would make teasing comments about the chalkboard, and I'd try to have a conversation about anything else, but he'd ignore me. I kept saying hi, but he kept rolling his eyes and he avoided me. Until Wednesday.

"I've narrowed down the suspects to 14 people in this class. Ugh this is so much harder than I thought!" Ji Hee whined and ruffled her hand through her noticeable hair extensions.

Jungkook rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath, "And you are so much more annoying that I thought," so I could only hear it. I covered my mouth and with my hand and snorted.

The bell rang and everyone sat down in their seats. I overheard Chul laughing to Ji Hee, "Did you see what Elijah was wearing in school today?" He continues whispering into Ji Hee's ear and she says, "Shut up, no way."

All throughout the class, I heard Chul, Ji Hee and their fellow douchebags friends whispering about a boy in our grade, Elijah.
Elijah was an aspiring fashion designer and had a keen interest in makeup. I thought his passion was cool. He was so enthusiastic and worked hard for his dream at such a young age. But of course most of the people in our grade didn't think it was interesting and he was considered an outsider.

The bell rang, indicating that class was over. Our class walked out the room, and we saw a crowd of students grouped together in the hallway. I couldn't tell who they were surrounding but teens were shouting. Was it a fight?

I pushed my way through the students and saw Elijah posing in the middle of the crowd . He was wearing a lavender, sleeveless dress with a slit through the side. He looked beautiful.
I don't think that the students thought that. They were laughing, pointing and taking pictures. Elijah seemed happy so maybe I was misunderstanding it.

"Damn Elijah your body! You ended IU," Chul snorts and takes a picture.
The seniors join taking pictures and posting it on their social media. I saw one of the seniors taking a picture, captioning it "BRUHHHH💀💀💀" and posting on their Snapchat. Most of the crowd began whistling and everyone shouted, "ELIJAH!!"
I felt so uncomfortable. I don't think he knew that people were laughing at him, but he enjoyed the attention. I felt really bad. They're making fun of Elijah, but Elijah doesn't understand.

I look to the side and notice Jungkook is right beside me. He was pursing his lips. I decided I needed to tell everyone to stop acting like sarcastic assholes. But then Jungkook started freaking out before I could say anything.

Jungkook shouts, "Guys I think I lost my wallet!"
"So?" one of the seniors asked.
"So, help me find it, I'm pretty sure it's in the English room," Jungkook explained.
"Check your pockets first," Hyung-sik, a boy from our English class, demanded.
Jungkook turns his pockets inside out. They were completely empty.

Ji Hee grabs Jungkook's arm. "Of course, I can help you, Jungkookie," and they walk to the English room. Jungkook's friends and even a couple seniors followed. Everyone began to depart after the relevant kids of our school left and went to their classes.

"Why is everyone leaving...I thought they liked my outfit. I made this dress by myself. I saw some people taking pictures too," Elijah pouted.
I wrapped my arm around him, "I think kids just wanted to help Jungkook. And class starts soon and we don't need to get in trouble by the principal."
    "Oh..."
I exclaimed, "But I really liked your outfit. For real. I can't believe you sewed that yourself! Your legs are to die for. My legs are chubby little stubs."

He smiles. "Thanks! And your legs aren't that bad. You know if you got a makeover, you might actually be-"
I put my hand up. "Let's not."
Elijah still seemed pretty upset. I couldn't stand it. He was such a talented and kind hearted guy.

"You know what...how about we get something from the vending machine? Junk food always makes me feel better," I suggested.

I knew I was going to be late to my next class but I prioritized Elijah's happiness. We weren't close, but he was one of my first friends in high school. His extroverted personality allowed me to climb out of my own shell freshman year. I owed him a lot.

"Sure! We both have gym anyways. That class is irrelevant," Elijah replies, optimistically.

I slipped my hands into my sweatpants pocket to obtain the cash I use for lunch. Instead, I felt a container that was made of leather. That's strange. I took it out and found a wallet. Oh my god, it can't be.... I open the wallet and find a driver's license...the name and picture on the license was Jeon Jungkook. No way.

"That's your wallet? Damn, a Louis Vuitton one too. I didn't know you were rich," Elijah gawked.
I quickly put the wallet back in my pocket. "Huh? Oh, it was a gift."
Elijah chuckled. "Gift from a boyfriend?"

My eyes bulged out of my head. "N-NO! I don't have a boyfriend at the moment. I promise."
Elijah giggled. "Sure, that's why you have an expensive men's wallet. Whatever, none of my business." Elijah curtsied me in his dress.
"Shall we go, Madame?" He then held out his head. I took it and we went to the cafeteria.
"We shall."

Elijah began rambling on about prestigious fashion colleges he wanted to apply to. I tried to concentrate but all I could think about was Jungkook.
I knew that he slipped his wallet into my pocket when we were in the crowd. But why? Was this a prank so people could think that I stole his wallet?

I gulped at a more frightening thought. Or maybe he was actually a decent person and wanted to divert the attention away from Elijah. So that would mean...after all these years of enduring his torture, Jungkook had a humane side after all.

As per usual routine, I tried my best to talk to Jungkook but he ignored me all day. Why is this boy so confusing? All I want to do was return his wallet.
Of course Jungkook left class before I could greet him. I saw him at lunch in the parking lot and I ran over to him.

     "Jungkook, stop avoiding me!"
"I'm not avoiding you," Jungkook sighed in exasperation.
"Sure whatever." I took out his wallet from my pocket. I then put it in his hand.
"Oh my god, you found my wallet! Where'd you obtain it?" Jungkook put his hand over his mouth and over-dramatically gasped.
"Cut the act. I found this wallet in my pocket. After you slipped it into my pocket in the crowd of students this morning," I accused him.

Jungkook put his hand underneath his chin.    "Huh...why the heck would I do that? Wait this was in your pocket all day? Are you admitting you stole my wallet?"
"Just STOP! You put it in my pocket after you saw the kids surrounding and humiliating Elijah. Admit it, you did this because you sympathized with him," I pointed at him.

Jungkook shook his head. "You have such a creative imagination y/n. Well thanks for returning my wallet after you took it, you burglar."
I was ready to rip my hair out of my head. I've had enough with his lies.

"No Jungkook, you KNOW what you did. Stop pretending like you don't care about others. You put up this whole front where you're this cold, cruel guy but you-"

"Can you just shut the hell up? You came here to retun my wallet right? I didn't ask for you to psycho-analyze my personality. If I were to analyze you, I'd say that you are crazy. One second, you're an annoying person who wants nothing to do with me and suddenly you're acting like my therapist,"

I raise my finger and say something, but I can't be heard over tires screeching against the pavement. Jungkook and I simultaneously turn around. We see a jet black Ferrari revving into the parking lot. The driver does a flawless J turn and other obnoxious driving moves. Clearly, this person was here to impress.

A crowd of students surrounds the parking lot, and the driver perfectly parks the overpriced car. A tall, bronzed man steps out of the car. Oh my god..it's Taehyung. Gone was the ridiculously fancy suit he usually wears. His outfit was surprisingly stylish- a SnapBack, sunglasses, loose white shirt, shorts and sandals.

Taehyung strides over to me, walking like a Gucci model on the runway. He casually rests his elbow on my shoulder.

"Uh, what the heck are you doing here?" I ask.
"Who the hell is he?" Jungkook chimes in.
     Taehyung smirks. "I'm her boyfriend."

Jungkook raises his eyebrow in surprise, looking quite impressed. Meanwhile, I laughed nervously, to break the tension in the atmosphere.
What the heck is Taehyung pulling?

Taehyung wraps his arm around me, which felt alike to an anaconda strangling his pray. I tried my best to smile but it turns out to be a grimace.
I stuttered, "Y-yes..he's my boyfriend.. a boy that's my friend..but the boyfriend is just one word."
Taehyung grins. "Absolutely." He moves close to my face. He puckers his lips and swiftly kisses my forehead.
It took all my strength to not to slap Taehyung on the face.

"Yup my boyfriend that just..kissed me.." I gritted through my teeth.
"Which we always do," Taehyung purred. He bent down again and was aiming for my mouth. I put my palm in front of my face and he kissed that instead.
"Not in public ...honey." I grunted.

Jungkook scrunched up his nose and pressed his tongue against the side of his cheek.

"Wow y'all kiss a lot ..I guess I'll see ya around." Jungkook bid a farewell and walks towards school.
I removed Taehyung's arm from my neck. "What the heck was that for?"

Taehyung winks and kisses his palm and blows it towards me. "You'll thank me later."

I wiped my face and rolled my eyes. I turned around from him and saw Jungkook's body was facing our direction. He was glaring at us. How long was Jungkook staring? When our eyes met, he quickly freezes and looked away. He began walking towards the school again.
